It's disappointing that the dev doesn't seem to be doing much other than opening new pools to mine.
There are actually big things coming from community members, but we need this Bittrex issue fixed ASAP. I thought Bitterex was going to keep THC active as long as there was a minimum spent every week. Bittrex will keep us on their site but the THC market has been closed due to an issue in the blockchain. Our dev needs to contact Richie ASAP.

I am working on some stuff but the dev needs to fix this issue with bittrex, i dont know how. Just contact Richie @ bittrex I have my wallet open and am currently mining with no issues. There was just a glitch where the wallet has crashed last night, after restarting it all is well. IF YOU HAVE ISSUES JUST RESTART THE WALLETThat's all that the pools and Bittrex have to do.

Actually there were some confirmed coins that moved to unconfirmed which is a sign of an instable blockchain or other issues. We're awaiting developer feedback. Ryan@Bittrex

We are working with Bittrex to get it up.
The ABE Block ex has had a hard time working with this PoS
We are working on a simple block explorer. Coinmarketcap is ready to add when we get the block ex.

I'm making headway with the custom block explorer. Last night I crossed a major hurdle that I've been trying to cross for the last couple weeks. Data is now in the database properly, have a script that can update the database constantly via cron or something. Have "balances" for addresses working Now that I'm done the tough part it should be pretty easy for me to spit out a few of the other pages. Next on the list: Complete page that shows address information. Page to list blocks Page that shows individual block info Page that lists transactions Page that shows individual transaction info I'll work on it as hard as I can as much as I can, I'm excited I got past that hurdle that had me beating my head against the wall. I want to spend as much time as quickly as I can but it's the end of the month which means work is a little busier and my parents are on their way over for the long weekend. Haven't seen them in a year or so and they finally said they are coming over to see their grandkids.. lol So like usual, no promises on when it will be done but progress is being made.

I learnt about a new "Exchange-Traded Fund" type of technology coming out in a few months that may be beneficial to hempcoin. It is called bitbasket (There are other people trying to do very similar things): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=660200From what I can tell, there is no downside to joining a bitbasket group. The inventor has ideas of all coins joining the 1 bitbasket group but what I see happening is people taking the open source code for bitbasket and creating smaller groups. A few coins could come together and work together for their "bitbasket group (Exchange-Traded Fund)" while at the same time being completely separate from each other. The creator made claims this would increase security for all the coins in the group. For now this is all just theory and a white paper. There are a few people working on similar things. Once this code is released joining as many groups as possible should be beneficial. Joining the group has to do with the majority of miners of the bitbasket group accepting your coin and the coin developer creating a new piece of hempcoin plugin code for miners to plug into their bitbasket miner. Getting in first to these new ETF type groups is going to be very important. Once the first few come out it'll be like coins... another 3 ETFs released today... Creating the second "bitbasket group" with all the other marijuana/hemp coins should bring attention to all the coins in the group and get them all to new levels. There is also a reddit about this topic and hempcoin if people want to keep the discussion in 1 place (This conversation will probably last 2 months as bitbasket is just a whitepaper now): http://www.reddit.com/r/thehempcoin/comments/28tbxj/new_exchangetraded_funds_coming_soon_lets_be_part/I had a chance to meet the author of the bitbasket paper, in Vancouver BC. He is quite the genius.

Is anyone here managing an active facebook page The Hemp Coin?
I noticed the dev HempCoin looks to have made one but it is outdated/inactive now.
I created one that I am going to drive likes to. I have no interest in managing the account. I would love to add anyone here as an admin so that we could have 10+ people doing 1 post a week so it looks really active.
If HempCoin is interested in adding us all as admins then I am fine using the account they started.

I would also participate in this. Although we should only add people who have been in this community for a while or are trusted. I work with a ton of clients developing their social media, primarily facebook. I think we can get lots of real fans following to help support us.
