what if Dev's (or any other who would like to take risk) for this IPO make like startup similiar to Coinbase, but just for HeavyCoin.. where any average internet user can buy HVC, this could be good way to spread/distribute HVC in to mass... if this works out, good for HVC adaptors and for dev's who can make huge money from that company.

Would be a huge benefit to the HVC community but do realize just how big coinbase truly is. Very skilled team they have (Litecoin creator among countless others). Coinbase took in something like $31 million from investors to startup. |

1700MH/sec and growing!!! Paying out HVC's at higher amount than any other pool out there. Currently at 900 HVC's per block. All of you people who are switching and helping our pool (and coin by decentralizing the mining power) are simply awesome!!! THANK YOU!!!! |

zhpool's website sometimes can't handle the load, getting errors from it quite often. heavycoinpool seems to be having some transaction issues (see earlier post) removed hvc.pool.mn given that nobody seems to use it and their configuration is broken |

Yeah, while I appreciate the promotion and all, maybe they could explain what's going on with the above posters' concerns. In graph form: https://i.imgur.com/Fyq3S0V.pngNice graph, but the probability distribution of finding a block with normalized hashrate (e.g. taking changes in pool size into account) is a poisson distribution (or gamma for that matter) with a low lambda and not gaussian over 1 (if it were, the long gaps would correctly be odd). Your graph simply shows the lower end of the distribution with some outlyers (don't know if this is the English word) like the >700% blocks. Nothing weird here, sample size is simply too low to draw conclusions based on the available data about the tail of the distribution. A decent mathematician can probably calculate the arrival time of blocks to a certain degree of accuracy but its complicated and takes some effort or detailed knowledge of the systems involved. Check out waiting times, Erlang and those kind of things concerning arrival estimation if you want to know more about it. |

Does anyone else feel the positive momentum building behind HVC or am I just having delusions?!?!?  yes very positive, plus the price is holding strong like a boss. Low trading volume is the only concern although that means people arent really dumping everything they get which is a good sign. |

This is what works great for me 1. Try http://Heavycoinpool.com (currently rewarding 900 HVC per block unlike other pools where default reward is 725 HVC) 2. Download: h ttps://heavycoinpool.com/downloads/cgminer-3-7-3-heavycoin-v4.zip3. Put this in your BAT: del *.bin setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer.exe --heavy --vote 100 --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://stratum01.heavycoinpool.com:5333 -u YourWorkerName -p YourPass -I 8 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 750 --gpu-fan 65 -w 256 You should get 9Mh/s speed. In case CGMiner would crash, try to decrease the --gpu-engine by 5Mh and see what works for you. I'm currently running on 1206, will see how long will CGMiner last before crashing. But 1200 was running fine for 24 hours. |
