as i said couple of pages ago .... these results of the 750Ti may push price down

with those cards u can get 23m/hash for 140$

its not clear yet ?

You are funny, stating the price of one card and the hash rate of two. Stockholm syndrome perhaps?

Ya'll watching Mintpal right now?  Some amusing manipulation going on.

Some x11 info I found https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5940703#msg5940703

X11 algorithm
DarkCoin created the X11 algorithm, which is integrated with 11 kinds of super- secure encryption algorithms and complex algorithms , anti- mining machine ; This algorithm is suitable for mining CPU and GPU (GPU efficiency better ) , compared to other scrypt line algorithm , X11 graphics can lower the temperature by 30% -50 % reduction in power consumption by about 30% ; therefore X11 algorithm can be said is the most friendly of GPU algorithms, based on the practical features , the current has started to use a new currency X11 algorithms ( such as Hirocoin), also has plans to scrypt currency to X11 ( eg AIRcoin).
ps: Let your card over a cool summer.

Looks like Heavycoin offers better power savings and cooler temps. Comparison testing to confirm this would be great. Looking forward to seeing peoples results

This is precisely what I thought tests would reveal, x11 is good but hefty-1 is superior let's all get the word out as more testing is done.

The market is depressed because of yet another fake announcement from China about a Bitcoin ban, that has already been withdrawn. Conveniently, they waited 6 hours before withdrawing the statement.

The price now is barely above IPO price so I see no reason why anyone would sell now. I just spent my remaining BTCs to buy in. Even if manipulators manage to knock it down a bit further, it will bounce back. In only 4 months the block reward is dropping to [1, 8] range and I am very curious as to what will happen then  Grin

That's really cute, renzhf. Crossing fingers that someday you find an original thought in your head.

To answer loicatraile, we are going through 3 phases. The first, Mint, is over when 45m HVC is minted. The second, Limit, lasts 56 days, regardless of the number of coins minted in that period. During the first 2 phases block reward will be in the [1, 1024] range, depending on the votes. In the third phase, Sustain, the block reward drops to [1, 8] range. A bit of math and guesswork works out to phase 3 beginning in about 4 months.

Outside of press and the attraction of power savings, I think trader interest will really pick up once it's in the late Limit phase, but there will be a lot of stocking up for when it goes to Sustain the whole time, keeping it at a nice steady (maybe slow) gain.  I've got 300mh I plan on keeping on the coin for the next few months, and going long with most if not all of it I mine (something I rarely do with mined coins).

I would like to know if anyone else is running 290's, and if so, what is your hash?

I can only get around 13Mh out of each card despite the config/cgminer version. I do notice that cgminer will not show/set memclock running any higher than 150(yes 150). However, coreclock is competently editable.

Anyone care to share some info?

I have an MSI TF 290 and I used the config. from page 195.

Whilst I couldn't achieve the 26 or 24Mh/s quoted there I am getting 20.5Mh/s. I had to reduce intensity to 7, increase power tune to +20 and reduce core to 1090 to stop it crashing overnight. Like you my memory clock stays at 150 regardless of it's setting. Oh, and I added +31mv using MSI AB.

I get the odd spike from stratum connection interruptions but I get that from all my rigs.

Correct almost 50% less power than traditional scrypt coins. Plus Heavycoin solves an issue that most fixed rate currencies have by having a built in system that determines future block size through voting. Also I'm just impressed at how strong per coin value is during this big dip with Bitcoin. Heavycoin is handling things quite well. Plus how many coins actually have devs that are capable of creating their own hashing algorithms?... Coming from other dev teams the answer is very few Smiley
