You can also clock the memory down to 1100 to save some power and heat. As a rule you can't go below 1100 because even though you set it lower the card will run at whatever the default speed is for your card. (IE: If you set it to 1000 and the default speed for your card is 1425 it will run at 1425) bat/conf file settings will not override this.

If you clock it down to 1100, you actually lose about 5-10% in hash rate. So it's all relative.
Also, no 280x has a problem changing its clock speed. Just use Trixx to change voltage/clock.
I'm sorry but you're wrong on this one. I lose 0% hash rate by lowering the memclock. You can change the memclock below 1000 with trixx but the card will default to stock speed no matter what trixx says. Use GPUZ or afterburner to see your true speeds.

You'll never know what you're living for until you know what you're willing to die for.
Never look back, something might be gaining on you.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

When did I ever say anything about memclock? I was only talking about the core clock.

Edit: Oh, I didn't realize that you were talking about the memory clock in that last post.  Tongue

You use a crystal ball.  Tea leaves have also been suggested, but they really don't offer the same level of clarity.

But it's a real bitch to brew a nice cuppa with a crystal ball.

not really an astonishing revelation considering all alts are pretty much linked in the market to BTC, what do you want a trophy? this coin in doing fine, the whole market is depressed at the moment. oh and by the way a hater is someone who hates, a hatter is someone who makes hats.

Just ignore. It works 100% fine without that environmental setting.

The market is depressed because of yet another fake announcement from China about a Bitcoin ban, that has already been withdrawn. Conveniently, they waited 6 hours before withdrawing the statement.

The price now is barely above IPO price so I see no reason why anyone would sell now. I just spent my remaining BTCs to buy in. Even if manipulators manage to knock it down a bit further, it will bounce back. In only 4 months the block reward is dropping to [1, 8] range and I am very curious as to what will happen then  Grin

why should the block reward dropp to 1, 8?

as i said couple of pages ago .... these results of the 750Ti may push price down

with those cards u can get 23m/hash for 140$

its not clear yet ?

You are funny, stating the price of one card and the hash rate of two. Stockholm syndrome perhaps?
