~Snip Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? I think Bitcoin will game over after hit 1$ or World War 3 happens, so what's the current price? Come on it's still high price, and we are in the begining era of Blockchain, I guess many people so interest of Bitcoin on this year (also altcoins), so this is a chance for our to add more assets, Don't be late!

I am sure Bitcoin will be normal again, only for this year there has been no change until the beginning of the year. I was told by my friend, he predicted that bitcoin would be down in 2019 to reach around 1800 - 3000 $.

I was told by my friend, he predicted that bitcoin would be down in 2019 to reach around 1800 - 3000 $. Unfortunately, it is very likely that the increases that we are seeing now are only temporary, and at the beginning of 2019, the price will fall below $2000. This does not mean that it is game over for Bitcoin. This technology has great potential and everything is ahead of us.

Well, Bitcoin just bounced back 15%. Now I don't think this entails any end. We can also see a number of altcoins making some slight recovery which I expected to be gradual. It's nice to see some greens showing up. Probably a sign that the market has started to move forward. I pray this development continues on a longer stretch.

yes, prices have decreased poetry earlier this year until now. essentially the cryptocurrency market is not friendly in 2018. surely many are disappointed with this situation. those of you who have become long-standing holders are disappointed that they certainly have benefited a lot from bitcoin, especially the holders who have just joined. make sure they are very disappointed and sad to see the current situation. it's natural that someone is currently worried if bitcoin continues to go down to worthless. but I always hope the price of bitcoin doesn't continue to fall. and will begin to recover as soon as possible, so that people will trust cryptocurrency again. and I'm not saying this is game over.

It's not game over yet but actually the game is on. It's up to you and everyone who holds Bitcoin if they want to remain in the game or get out. I've seen Bitcoin price goes up and down like a roller coaster and price goes down up to 40% so whats happening today is nothing new. If your faint hearted, then Bitcoin is not for you.

I remember people around the forum making threads on what will be the main reason on the decrease on bitcoins price and there you have it. But rather than viewing this dilemma with negativity, consider also on taking it as an opportunity to acquire some while the prices are at stale. For the people who have significant amounts of bitcoin on their wallet, avoid selling everything in an instant. Bitcoin has always been on the positive side of the market. With its creation nearly 10 years ago, its price constantly fluctuates depending on current events affecting government regulations or strict financials. Now with its price decreasing, I do think that its price may regain its value in the long-run as long as it maximizes and uses the blockchain technology.
Without a doubt, Bitcoin had experienced its ups and downs since it launched back in 2009. In the beginning, there weren't exchanges and everything was conducted in a peer-to-peer fashion. Right after Bitcoin got adopted by exchanges, its price in terms of USD was reflected across the market. It was then that Bitcoin fluctuated widely in price, just as it is right now. I believe that volatility is something unique about Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies, since there's no central authority backing them. The value of a Bitcoin is derived from the people itself. If people believe that Bitcoin is a valuable currency, then it'll be quite expensive. Otherwise, it would be worth nothing as Bitcoin is digital money after all. However, given that Bitcoin is limited by design, and depends on real world resources, it still has some value. Analyzing the charts, I’ve noticed that Bitcoin's price movement is much like a rollercoaster. Sometimes it's high in price, while in others, it falls in value massively. Based on these facts, I believe that right now it's the perfect time to accumulate more Bitcoin. Once prices rise again, then our investment would multiply at a greater rate than traditional banks. Nonetheless, Bitcoin could survive as a cryptocurrency for many years to come. It's not about prices, but rather utility. If Bitcoin is useful for the mainstream world, then it'll be here to stay. Remember that 1 Bitcoin will always be 1 Bitcoin no matter what. Just my opinion

In my opinion, nothing is impossible with Bitcoin. And Bitcoin drops recent it does not mean that Bitcoin will end or collapse. It has been around for 10 years. It is too early to conclude our future. We can hope about it.

even though the price of bitcoin is now down since the beginning of the year, but this is not the end of bitcoin, I'm sure bitcoin will definitely recover, the decline in bitcoin prices is only temporary. I still hold bitcoin and don't sell it because I believe in bitcoin.

Buy Bitcoins Now and enjoy Xmas like this I completely don't understand why you are so happy ..? At this point the BTC chart on Coinmarketcap is red. Probably it was only a temporary increase in price, and it is not the end of price drops. I hope you are right, but in my opinion it is still too early to talk about long-term increases in cryptocurrency prices.

I don't think it is game over for bitcoin and I do not agree that fud things are the reason for this crash! Rather governments, ETF, SEC things and some hacks are responsible for the crypto market collapse! Though no one can describe perfectly the reason for this bad condition but I hope everything will be okay in near future!

Why game over? Btc price in 2016 was just $500-600
Yes, it was. In 2011 it was $32 and even fell down to $1 at one time. I really want bitcoin to go so low so that we can start accumulating again. I want to be able to store as many as possible. I know in the future the price will rise again.

I think you shouldn't think about it. There are also another stable coins. It's just a standart manipulation. You should trust crypto economy. I think that it will go back to normal soon!
Well, most of those "stablecoins" have failed to deliver the promised peg to the USD. Tether is a good example, where several times it has fallen way below the $0.99 - $1 pricing. This means that stablecoins cannot be trusted since they're as volatile as cryptocurrencies themselves. There needs to be proper regulation to ensure stablecoins remain closely valued to the USD. Otherwise, your investment would not be safe when putting your money on such coins. Despite this, I still have faith in crypto, and as well as you, I believe that everything will head back to normal soon. In the meantime, I guess that it's best to accumulate more Bitcoin for the future.
Agree. Governments may have negatively impacted the valuation of the whole cryptocurrency market, with their crackdowns and regulations. However, I believe that at the end of the tunnel, there's light. Which means that sooner or later, cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum will be recognized and regulated by all countries worldwide. Once regulation comes in, serious investors can feel confident to get into crypto with ease. I believe that's needed to help crypto reach mainstream adoption. However, I'm against too much regulation (like completely banning cryptocurrencies) as it could be harmful towards the growth of Bitcoin and crypto in general. There needs to be a balance in regulatory measures, to help Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies achieve their purpose in the mainstream world. Because if governments act against the development of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, then Bitcoin and altcoins will fall massively in adoption and popularity. Nonetheless, this may be only temporary, as once prices start to rise, people will jump back on the crypto train.

The game is not over, 2017 bull run was beyond expectation which call for correction before there can be stability in the space, the present market trend those not connote, a negative trend for Bitcoin, one correction is over, the bull run will commence, Bitcoin is still an evolving platform, the best option is to keep Holding and possibly acquire more, the opportunity wont last forever.
