There are some islands, mainly on South Pacific area where you can only lease islands for 99 years, not buy them completely.

They use to do this with island in the Great Lakes as well.

Man, I really wish I had the guts or funds like the OP to buy that much of Bitcoin. I would be happy to even own BTC in 2-digit figures, I sure hope the prices g up to at least $10,000 in a couple of years.

That would be nice but for now people will tease him and then change their tune when the price rises in time

OP: I hope you took my advice:

1) Figure out your actual cost/BTC (starting with what you would have wanted for the house, and estimating the fees), i.e. How much would you have now if sold the normal way?
2) Now sell at least ~10% of the BTC (this week!) for a very small profit and ~10% when up ~$100/BTC
3) Buy back for a profit when BTC falls.
4) Sell on rallies and repeat, since you are increasing your number of BTC.

The Bear Market could get nasty + by selling only 20% you are not risking "missing out" on a huge Rally.
Take this advice or you may later really wish you had, good luck.

If you did, then at least you increased your number of BTC.
The ride will be bumpy, but you will come out ahead.

This is quite inspiring. To those doom-sayers, why are you into bitcoin at all if you do not truly believe in it? Bitcoin will always have value and that value can only rise because of the very nature of Bitcoin - supply decrease, value goes up - it's economic law. The volatility in prices is merely due to speculation - if you're not trying to make a fast buck then you have nothing to worry, just keep believing and holding and eventually its value will increase, it must.

  If and when hyperinflation/run on the dollar happens, it is going to happen fast. This could be triggered by any number of natural or political disasters, any moment. We could see the OP being a billionaire in the next week, and it is well within the realm of possibility.
