I'm going for the bitcoin because it has a really good future if you ask me, the point is also that bitcoin is easy to invest in.

Rate of bitcoins fluctuate a lot but Gold has comparatively much safer rate.
Gold also has very high demand in many Asian countries.

gold is only a piece of jewelry that high price. gold not have the requirements to become a currency in contrast with bitcoin.

Yes, if your a less risk taker than gold should be a good investment option for you. But if you can take some risks than bitcoins will give you good profits in faster compared to gold. I think, we should invest in both instead of only one.

Gold has shown its value stability for thousands and thousands of years. I would prefer Gold, too, if I would know that the government could not confiscate it in any ways in hard times. Otherwise, and when I want to keep flexible, I would use/prefer Bitcoin or other crypto coin.

using them is not a bad idea. both price could go up simultaneously and can provide a profit simultaneously. but do not forget when the dollar strengthens. of course the price of both will decline

Both are very good of course. But people has their own choice to use it and that is very important. I like personally Bitcoin more.

I think its better to choose bitcoin if you want a fast profit choose bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is not stable not the same as gold.
If you really want to make easy profit just by cheap bitcoin and sell it when the price reach high.. Just like the price today the price is playing around 410-425 and i think if you have 1 bitcoin you can make 10-15 profits.. every time the price is rise and dump..
If you choose gold you should hold it in the long term before you can get high value of gold..

Both are very good of course to use it and that is very good. But some people like Bitcoin more than gold and that is normal.

For keeping my wealth safe, I would prefer gold. For having a chance to multiply my wealth many times, or lose everything, I would pick bitcoin.

Maybe risk all is not the best idea, So

A bit of a stupid comment, how far you going to go back? Egyptians were using gold 5000 bc and it was in use and valued way before that.

Also dont forget that gold is not only valued in USD.

Indian Rupee up 33%

well if you want a fair comparison you must compare them from the beginning

not where one has hunders of year behind and the other only 6 years

one was discovered and it the beginning i'm sure there was not enough interest for it, the same for the second, it was created and everyone ignored it at the beginning

theys hare many similarities, that's why i believe bitcoin can somehow reach an astronomical value in the future, like it happened for gold, but it need time

dunno why poeple expect a 100k value or crazy stuff like that in 5-10 years

I would choose gold over bitcoin as I find gold is more safer  in compare to bitcoins, and the future ob gold is safe while bitcoin is unpredictable, not sure how long it will survive.
