Bit coins are more for the future and even then the coin will not over rule the gold. Thats because
everyone uses gold instead of coins these days so maybe in the future the coin would be more popular but not for sure.

I have more faith in gold, but at a moment I will prefer to invest in bitcoin only because of the halving factor which will allow me to make quick profits.
OOOohh someone is here for the halving thing. Me too, gold is so old that you wont think it is a risk. It will be a really long time investment. For now let us make profit of this blooming currency and make use of what will be it in the future. Yes this is the time to grab an opportunity of making quick money by investing in bitcoin, gold can always take care of us in future, play with bitcoins till it is alive. Yes bitcoin will bring us to earn quick profit with it but i cant invest my money in bitcoin for a longtime we dont know and no one can really predicts that it will continue or price will rise in future and in gold we can really asure our future if really holds it for years because it is basically use to make jewelries and value is more expensive for years past. |

yeah with bitcoin you could benefit in the short term because of the price movement is very fast bitcoin or fluctuations. in contrast to gold classified as stable and a very small price changes. You will find different things in bitcoin. make sure you're prepared with fluctuations in itself |

yeah with bitcoin you could benefit in the short term because of the price movement is very fast bitcoin or fluctuations. in contrast to gold classified as stable and a very small price changes. You will find different things in bitcoin. make sure you're prepared with fluctuations in itself Nothing is guaranteed in any investment, there is always presence of risk, bitcoin is more risky then gold for sure, but people are taking that risk at a moment only because of halving. |

That's right, we just need to stay what bitcoin can do in the future. Even though, the truth is it cannot rule over gold. But as we can see, bitcoin has been developed and been well developed so it has a really good future. |

That's right, we just need to stay what bitcoin can do in the future. Even though, the truth is it cannot rule over gold. But as we can see, bitcoin has been developed and been well developed so it has a really good future. If bitcoin get more popular someday, i'm sure bitcoin can stay stand same as gold on that day, with good price for each bitcoin, it's make more people to use bitcoin. |

They are both indeed also good but the problem is that with gold you can only hold it, and with the bitcoin you can do both. For me the decision is easy because the bitcoin can be used for multiple reason. |

Because if that I prefer bitcoin but I also love gold and I also have some of it.
That is one of their disadvantage that you need to invest in time to get profit with it, mostly gold is one of the most slowly increasing asset that you can have. Even though gold is like that but you have assurance that it's price will not depreciate. |

I'd go all-in on bitcoin, simply because I just can't imagine a return to the highs of the early 80's. That's just me though. A lot of you seem to have more developed perspectives than me, so I'm really not that sure. I can think of many reasons for a spike in the price of btc (halvings, mass-adoption, community hype, a business yet to be formed that relies on the btc blockchain, etc.), but supply is the only thing that comes to mind when I consider how gold might increase in value. Can someone enlighten me?

Not only supply to consider of the increase of gold's value, you must also consider it's life. In jewelry or precious stones. The longer time you have it or it goes, the higher value it becomes. |

It seems to me a very good solution regarding both BTC and gold. |

Gold is a physical commodity which cannot be manufactured, it retains its value because it cannot be manipulated. The biggest manipulator of money throughout time have been governments, and their purpose for doing so has always been to grow bigger and exert more control over the general population by way of handouts and war. If the world truly wanted to eliminate poverty and war, it would adopt gold and gold standardized currency and never use fiat.
