Bitcoin or gold? This question has no clear answer.
The most important rule of investing is distribution of risk. In this case (with only two options) you have to choose both, so Bitcoin and gold.
if you know the distribution risk you know bitcoin is better choice than gold, we can trace bitcin distribution anywhere any time. I meant not to invest in one thing, but to separate risk for more smaller investments. In this case we have just two, but it always is good to have more opportunities to invest money. |

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Better choose gold rather than bitcoin, because gold proved itself for many years since the days of our ancestors. Gold has very stable price. |

Better choose gold rather than bitcoin, because gold proved itself for many years since the days of our ancestors. Gold has very stable price. gold is old , we need new technology, today is digital era, for future reference we will use digital currency anywhere anytime , and im sure bitcoin can do it.  |

i prefer to use gold that's because gold will always be better then a bit coin. You can buy everything with enough gold
and you can't buy everything with the bitcoin.

Gold is everything where people work for of course everyone chose gold over bitcoins
if you don't your not thinking clear. Just seeing your pc to much and not even seeing the reality it self.

I would prefer bitcoin above gold because with bitcoin you can make profit and also use it to pay things with it.
With gold this is not the case so that is why I prefer bitcoin.

I prefer Bitcoin as you can actually make a profit off it. Gold is more of a stable, very long term investment that has already hit its full potential really. Both

I prefer bitcoin as it is the good way for earning investing and using it online. These can't be done with gold.

I will choose bitcoin looking at its potential to grow, as it can give me best returns in short span of time which is not possible with gold.
So borrow/earn/get $ 100k invest in BTC and get $ 1M "in short span of time" Bitcoin is better than gold now and that is because Bitcoin is getting more acceptable and that is nice for the currency. But gold is of course popular but it is not acceptable online and that is bad. |

Gold is the market leader when it comes down to investment and securities. There is no way a new coin like bitcoin can compete with this assets which has been there for centuries.
I think the future volume of gold will start to fall for gold users and investors will switch from gold to bitcoin. they will be looking for potential investment and profitable. the growing popularity of bitcoin then gold will be displaced for now I admit gold as a market leader |

I would choose gold over Bitcoin because the value of gold is higher i think. The bitcoin is also nice to have but you just have to wait so long before something happens with the price.

Sure you can always have a peace of mind knowing that gold's network effect is simply too strong to ever disappear, but if you want to get rich in your lifetime you will never make it with gold. You have a million more chances making it big by holding Bitcoin, so I recommend that if you want big changes, you gotta go for Bitcoin and forget about gold.

They are both good so why should you choose, I think investing in them both is pretty good because you can make profit on a short term with the bitcoin and with the gold make profit on a long term.

Gold may turn out to be interesting in the future however. If an aversion to currency develops (for various reasons), then gold could move sharply up. Yes, with futures and options you get even more "juice" (leverage). Bitcoin has been rather well over the past week. I HODL both, a diversification that I am very happy with. As I mention often, there is no need to choose, own both! BTC and Au move somewhat independently, and so both assets are good (and independent of stocks and bonds). |

Well i believe the most of bitcoin members are more interested into get bitcoins right now because the halving,but well both are good investment options but the biggest potencial is around bitcoin gold has had already its potencial limited or atleast looks like . |

Bitcoin is the best investment for me as the value is going to appreciate and you can easily double your investment if that happens.and you can lose your money if whales dump bitcoin to under $200 again  bitcoin is high risk for long investment it's very diffirent with gold, where people use gold for long term investment. |
