Do not be surprised that your coins can get frozen and you can not send it out even if you are holding it in your wallet. Don't be surprised about this because most of all cryptocurrencies in the market has the feature to freeze your coins and that is what some people are not aware about the risk of storing altcoins that don't have that decentralized features in them.

Most popular stablecoins are centralized. I am talking about USDT and USDC, for example. They have their issuers. Circle issues USDC and Tether issues USDT. One in-built feature of these stablecoins is that their issuers can freeze them and prevent you from making transactions, regardless in what type of wallet you hold them. Custodial or non-custodial doesn't matter. One popular stablecoin that doesn't have this freezing feature and is decentralized is DAI. DAI can't be frozen in a non-custodial wallet.
