Grin coin has more inflation than Bitcoin. I can not understand that why you thought that Grincoin will be less volatile than Bitcoin. Smaller coins with smaller marketcap are easier to be manipulated and would be more volatile on the market.

Grincoin can be a favorite altcoin for privacy transactions. In near future, it is not a good investment because the market and participants are fearful with privacy coins. They are fearful with regulations on privacy coins too.

The problem is Monero is unlikely to make it big in the future because of the exchanges banning it from their platform look at the comment above about why this coin is only listed on two exchanges Grin is hard to get unless you are mining it and I think they will eventually make mining privacy coins illegal which would make Grin and Monero worthless.

Most big exchanges list monero because it is one of the OG coins that came into existence way earlier than the others. Monero is kind of like bitcoin and litecoin. These projects don't pay the exchanges so they list them. The exchanges list them because people use them. They hate Monero the most among the coins they list and I can guess why.

If Grin had any adoption, major exchanges would have listed it already but they won't help Grin to grow its adoption. They'll probably ignore it as long as they can and that means grin may not gain any adoption in the next 10 years.

Maybe we can see a mega pump to $10 but It may not re-happen. The pump to $2 that we recently had was cool though. From these prices, and it was lower at some point if you look at the charts, it was nearly x6-x8 gains. That gap must have made many people rich.

Buying at .30-.35 and dumping at $2 looks like a pretty attractive play.

I don't know what you are talking about. I am super bullish on grin for the long term. I am constantly DCA'ing it every month. If you are underwater, just buy more. It is on fire sale. If you don't have stronk hands to hold grin, then sell them. You don't deserve the gains neither.

I am buying it on KuCoin but last time I checked it wasn't possible to withdraw/deposit Grins. You can always convert your Grin stash to something else and withdraw however.

I too remember, it was theymos probably, said that it is going to go to 50 cents... and it is hanging there.

My theory is, theymos is providing the price base there around 30-50 cents and when the sellers get exhausted, it will shoot up but don't count on me. I have been wrong numerous times before.

The price of Grin is currently low, but there are several reasons to explain it.

1st It cannot be compared with BTC, even with its emission in the first years ... first because GRIN is from 2019 ... and second, because whoever buys coins for HOLD does so thinking about future issuance, not for nothing the price of BTC multiplies with each halving. And Grin with its linear emission, discourages HOLD a lot.

2nd Grin had a spectacular launch, the forum officially adopted it, heavyweights supported it, old school BTC wallet was unfrozen to support it, it was a long-awaited project, with a new approach and technology, really attractive, and with a really high mining difficulty from the beginning. All this hype led to its price being initially high ... very high (The ATH). What has drawn, today, a typical graph of the dump / bump shitcoin.

3rd It is complicated to use ... or at least, very different from other cryptos, especially if you cannot use statepack. and from the beginning it hasn't been very friendly to resource-poor miners either ... its counterpoint being Monero's CPU mining.

4th The attack of the 51% who suffered, the possibility of mimblewimble fail ... together with the linear emission, don't invite to invest NOW in it.

I repeat the price is absurdly low, especially when compared to doggy tokens and similar shit ... but that's the crypto market.

The main problem is that Grin can be seen as a great investment in the very long term, but it is that nobody looks for that anymore and less with cryptos. What we want is to get rich now, not to wait 5 years to see if we were right or not.
