with infinite suppy and 1 grin created each second the price will sooner or later drop hard.
while mimblewimble is nice new hot topic, there are still crucial things missing to make it a big hit.
doesnt mean that it cannot reach a nice high to fall from.
ill keep an eye open and add it to my portfolio Smiley

Hopefully we will see some grin hardware wallet support soon, until then a nuc is only going to be used for that and that only.
First, let the Windows wallet appear...

Hi guys! We have added Grin to our mining profitability calculator, I hope it helps you!

Regards

Green Mining Profitability Calculator

Excellent! But is it for C29 or C31 algo?

I much prefer ledger or Trezor over windows for security.

That second image is definitely 29, this is my guess based off difficulty.

Yes, we have added to this calculator the Grin mining under the algorithm Cuckaroo29. Sorry for not specify it before.

Hello fans, holders, investors and miners of GRIN
Beware of unofficial, channel groups and chats offering bots, smart contracts, etc
All this is has nothing to do with GRIN

Anonymint recently posted his analysis of Grin. It's definitely worth a perusal:

quote from your article:
Quote
Disadvantages of MW:
No scripting possible, so no smart contracts nor atomic cross-chain transactions (but there’s a way to achieve HTLCs but not multi-hop off-chain networks such as Lightning Networks (LN)).

and quote from https://www.grin-forum.org/t/much-of-the-technology-behind-grin/127
Quote
Scriptless scripts. MimbleWimble can’t allow Bitcoin-style scripts. In theory this should be very limiting. But in practice, leveraging Schnorr signatures, we can re-introduce multiple types of smart contracts. Inluding the basis for lightning network and…

Atomic swaps. One type of scriptless script that allows exchanging grins with other cryptocurrencies trustlessly.

Meh, shitload of conjecture argued as if it were facts as usual.

Quote
The money supply grows more slowly over time, so the decline decelerates into a small tail reward and thus a dubious level of security

Anyone know why Grin is listed on Bittrex international but not the original normal Bittrex (USA)?

I think it has something to do with the regulation for the citizens of the United States

Grincoin will fastly spread over the world.
The current pace of developments and growths of GrinCoin are amazingly fast.
Additionally, Grincoin has massive demands from crypto enthusiasts.
It also gives the mining industry and miners one more great option.

Infortunetly, the windows wallet wasn't a Dev's priority. I found this project http://www.superlinear.io/ promising to be a Native Grin wallet implementation for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Strange little piece of text there.

"Will be 100% open source AT LAUNCH"

I wonder why they plan to go closed source.
Nice catch Wink
I didn't notice that it will be an open source wallet only at the time of lunch. I did a lot of reseaches but find nothing about it. If you have any information regarding this, please share it here. Am really interrested to test the first win wallet as am still a win user.

Bullshit.
Yeah it doesn't make too much sense now does it? If the security was low then difficulty would be low too and people back to mining.

Anonymint read through all the replies here, and has posted some rebuttals. He's asked me to link to the following post:

Me too.
I got same issues as yours because I have 4 rigs (6 AMD cards per rig), but I unfortunately can not mine Grin because those cards have only 4GB in memory.
I wish someday experts will release new mining tools which allow 4 GB memory cards can mine the coin officially, or release a guide on how to setup virtual memory to mine Grin with only 4 GB in memory.
For now, I have only one option, trading Grin coin on exchanges and try to accumulate as many Grin coins as possible.

decentralized and autonomous, great
this means that the project has been very much in the process of developing it, it seems that the team is also very confident even without excessive investors with the use of autonomous projects, brave enough to say it, but hope you successfully

Over three months after the start of Grin coin, I thought that the Grin coin will be one of the most deserved altcoins to invest in 2019.
Moreover, Grin coin might move upwards significantly in the top 50 on Coinmarketcap.com over time, when more coins are available in its total circulating supply and the price of Grincoin increase.

Grin Coin has been listed and lively traded on Poloniex exchange, that is formerly the largest exchange around two years ago.
https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_grin
It's the welcome message from Poloniex for Grin coin.
Quote
Poloniex is excited to be one of the first major exchanges to host this much-anticipated new coin. Happy trading!
