SRH has given a target of only 135 runs against Chennai. This is an easy target for Chennai. SRH should have scored at least 160 runs to make the match competitive. Because Chennai's batsmen are in form and they are performing tremendously. However, I kept the bet of today's match in favor of Chennai's victory. This is an easy win for Chennai.

My guess is that Chennai will win this match without losing any wicket. Because when the players bat for only 135 runs, they will be completely stress-free. It is very difficult to get the players out in such a situation. At the end of 6 overs, Chennai scored 46 runs. They need 88 runs from 82 balls to win. A very simple and one-sided match.

134 is very easy target for team like CSK because they are doing very good from start of IPL and already on top now after this win they are securing this top rank SRH is already down and out from this league today. Williamson, Roy and Holder all fail to have any serious threat against quality bowling of CSK specially Hazelwood and Bravo both was on target for this team. In batting Gaikwad and Du plessis both doing good which is very good for CSK first wicket is down on 75, and now they have just 60 runs from 59 balls which is not threatening for them and their top rank in this season's League.

Chennai was not expected to lose 4 wickets for 108 runs. They are the top team in the points table and the most consistent team this season. They lost only 2 out of 10 matches. In today's match, they should have easily won the 135 goals given by SRH. Chennai needs 22 runs from 18 balls to win. Hopefully we will not see any miracle and Chennai will win.

CSK was in good command and there was no serious threat from SRH bowling attack for first 12 overs, but suddenly things change very quickly because Rashid Khan and Jason Holder done something special which was not expected from them in later. We still have Dhoni and Rayudu on crease which requirement is also not bad at all as just 25 runs from 21 balls but as we have cricket is game of chance, so any good delivery can give SRH good chance for fight back in match, but simply these two can keep this up and will give easy win for their team with staying on top.

Chennai was not expected to lose 4 wickets for 108 runs. They are the top team in the points table and the most consistent team this season. They lost only 2 out of 10 matches. No miracle we have seen, Dhoni and Rayudu's responsible batting helped Chennai win one more match. But the top-order batsmen should have played better. I thought Du Plessis would remain undefeated in today’s match. But he was dismissed for 41 runs. Gaikwad has scored 45 runs.

Last season was exception when they were kicked out, tons of criticism were floating around them being a retiring squad as most of em are 35+ yo. CSK management deserve admiration to stick to their players even in their bad times. One opposite example is see how SRH treating David Warner right now, although they did back him during Sand paper saga but he was in excellent form that time.

This trademark is just belonged to MS Dhoni, mostly he finishes his job like this which is great from this legendary player which bring some good and exciting successes for India and CSK. CSK management deserve some good applause as they have done good management and keep faith in this team which was very earlier eliminate from last year's league and now this year they are on top, a good change in mind approach which bring good success for them. After having few very good wins and their attitude is also very positive now for me CSK is the most favorite team for winning this year's title because they are doing excellent job until now for this year's title.

With this win RCB now is ranked 3rd in the overall point standing. The top 4 teams at the moment are CSK, DC, RCB and KKR and I assume these teams will be playing the quarterfinals. Interesting to see KKR in the top 4. Defending champions MI might not even qualify for the quarterfinals this time. What do you guys think?

KKR's spot is not secure. If you check the points table, then you can see that both the Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians have the same number of points. Earlier the race for the final playoff spot was between KKR, MI and RR. But with the defeat yesterday, RR's chances have reduced to near zero. But the advantage for Kolkata Knight Riders here is that their next match is against a weak Punjab Kings, while the Mumbai Indians need to take on one of the strongest teams in the tournament (Delhi Capitals).

I still think that this time it will be easy for KKR to reserve their berth in the quarterfinals. The team has been performing exceptionally well and it will be easy for them to win in the next match with Punjab Kings. It was an easy win for CSK yesterday and I do not think it would be easier for DC to defeat them tomorrow.

Three matches remain and you don't know how they will turn out. KKR and MI both have 10 points, and if they win all of them, then it will get them to 16. RCB is having 14 points right now. If they lose two out of their three remaining matches, then they will also end up at 16. Then the teams qualifying for the playoffs are going to be decided based on NRR. And it is here that the KKR is having an advantage. They have a positive NRR (+0.363), while both the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore have negative NRR.

Yeah it's impossible to see how it'll turn out because other than DC, everyone else has been very inconsistent. The funny thing is bookmakers have odds on MI so I feel like I didn't get good value betting on them (even though I should just wait for my outright to settle) but maybe it's good anyway as they know something most of us can't see.

Anyway, is this what happens when you drop David Warner? It was disappointing to see how badly management messed up this season as SRH fan. I'm not sure what will happen next season either. Dropping player due to lack of form is understandable as they also need to test other players mostly young ones but franchise should treat their senior players with respect, you can't say to them that you're dropped and don't come at ground when your team is playing, not official report but rumors floating around.

KL Rahul and Agarwal on crease for Punjab Kings as they are looking for a fair target of 166 from Kolkata Night Riders for win of this match on other side Southee and Mavi is starting their job for KKR even this is good target, but we are going to have very good and entertaining match between these two teams as both looking for their place in top 4 which is already packed with 3 teams and now just 1 spot is available for 3 teams 2 already down and out of this year's league with very poor play. Today I am feeling very confident about Punjab Kings as they are excellent and exciting side and able to win this match.
