So Bongs won their first series against Aussie eh... Just wondering what would happen if every subcontinent team start making only spin friendly wickets and start taking out even new ball seam option when any SENA country visiting subcontinent? Their batmen struggle against spin except couple of batters, so why not give them a taste of their own medicine?

Check the recent Ind vs Eng series. England didn't even bother to select any spinner in their playing XI. Imagine the controversy if any subcontinent team going with only spinners.  

It has been always like this, creating a favourable pitch has been there for some time now. I do not think it is an issue as long as your batsmen are capable of playing in any conditions. It would be really interesting to watch this Australian team play in UAE. I think the Australian board are still testing the players and out of this team, few players might be excluded from the T20 worldcup.

Every team will take advantage of its home conditions to win! In Australia, it's unusual to find slow, spinning tracks, but in the subcontinent, it's quite common. The two teams both batted poorly. However, we can expect better pitches. The WT20 is coming up, and you won't find such pitches in UAE. The wickets will be flat and offer plenty of runs.

I agree with your point. UAE pitches are not like that. Batsmen can score a lot there. If Bangladesh had organized this series as a practice for the next World Cup, then perhaps such a pitch would never have been selected. Bangladesh has selected such a pitch because they want to take advantage of the home. Which they have done well. Nevertheless, Bangladesh's performance against a team like Australia is very commendable. Especially their bowlers are playing very well.

Finally I won my first bet in Bangladesh vs Australia series. What a nightmare it was for Australia. Australia would have lost today match too if Shakib wasn’t that expensive (5 sixes in a over). They had to struggle chasing the target. The way they lost wicket, it seem an easy win for Bangladesh. How come Shakib had such a bad bowling tonight. It was a nightmare for him for sure.

LOL.. try going with an all-spin attack against a batting lineup that includes Steve Smith and David Warner. They are just going to butcher the bowlers. This time the team sent by Australia was both inexperienced and players were not in good form. And the COVID restrictions might have played a part as well. We have seen this phenomenon around the world, as the visiting teams are struggling to adjust with the host conditions. Happened to South Africa in Ireland, and then again to Australia in West Indies.

Bangladesh won the series in 3 consecutive T20s against Australia and lead the five-match series 3-0. BAN's deadly attack on Australia has created chances for Bangladesh to secure a 5-0 series victory over mighty Australia. The T20 series victory is huge for Bangladesh Cricket history, and hopefully the Tigers will be roaring the rest of the matches. Five straight losses to Australia in the T20I series means they've lost their winning touch.

It was more like a pathetic Australian line up against Bangladesh than Bangladesh pulling out something different, they always give a tough battle when playing at home and even the Bangladesh batsman were struggling but their bowlers were on point and was able to trouble every Australian batsman and if they continue like there is no way they are having any chances in the upcoming World Cup.

We will break up everything what i said one by one to understand the meaning and make sense to you. It was a rant aimed at the Australian players because none of their main T20 players are in the team and Bangladesh did not won the match or the series because of the merit of their performance, instead the Australian players who are playing in the series were inexperienced and their usual full squad opted to sit out and think they can directly play the World Cup and perform well.

The main reason why Bangladesh has won all the 3 matches is that each of their players is playing well. Mahmudullah did not score in the first two matches, but played a remarkable 50-run innings in the third match. But in the case of Australia, no other player has been able to bat well except Mitchell Marsh.

This is not the reason Bangladesh won, Bangladesh won because the team Australia sent did not know how to play cricket in spinning wickets, if you were watching cricket you would know that David Warner, Glenn Maxwell and Pat Cummins opted to skip the Bangladesh tour and have you heard about Steve Smith and Aaron Finch they were also not in the team, so the best 5 players for Australia is not even in the team and with a depleted team Australia is struggling, if all of these players were in the team the story would have been different.

So does it make any fucking sense to you as to what i was talking about.

Not in Limited overs but in the Tests, doesn't matter Warner, Smudge or Kane. Back to current Ind vs Eng series example... there should be some kind of limit on hypocrisy. 

IMO Aussie not taking these t-20 series very seriously or may be experimenting with the new combinations. Their main T-20 specialists were not available and some are focusing on the ashes. Its still big achievement for Bongs tho.

I couldn't find any website to watch the matches. If you have a link to watch the match, please share. However, I checked the scoreboard of today's match. Norway scored 185 runs in 20 overs. I didn't know their batsmen were so good. Germany scored 102 runs in 17 overs.

I never knew these European countries also play cricket. Glad to see a few new nations playing cricket, these countries are known for football only and since the India VS England test match has been delayed I want to know where can I watch this tournament? I did a general search on Google but was not able to find anything

The current England and India series is being covered by Sony (hopefully worldwide they do) and you can watch on sonyliv web and app but you must need subscription.

(I rarely watch cricket these days and today's India-England test match may end up in draw due to persistent rainfall but England might be the happier side even with the draw).

I have not seen any of these matches, even though i see the scoreboard and i am not planning to watch the matches but only recently i started seeing these scorecards and matches displayed in espncricinfo and some of the betting sites also accept the bets. May be everyone is preparing hoping cricket will be included in the next Olympics .

Do you have any youtube streaming link where we can watch these matches live or recorded ? Countries like Germany , France are good in sports and if they take cricket seriously, they could be added in good teams in the future. Cricket desperately needs new teams.

Maybe I can also organize a tournament tomorrow, by asking some of my neighbours to wear the jerseys of different world nations and then claim that the matches are being played between these countries. International cricket has become a sham nowadays. In none of the other sports they allow this.

The neighboring countries of England have a rich cricketing history. There are dozens of cricket clubs in Scotland, Ireland and Channel Islands, and some of them are hundreds of years old. On the other side of the channel, there are close to 40 cricket clubs in the Netherlands (although the number is declining for some time), around a dozen in Denmark and a few in Germany.

The problem is that during the Sharad Pawar-N Srinivasan era the ICC completely cut-off funding for the associate nations. Teams like Scotland and Netherlands saw their funding reduced by 90% and the reduction was 100% for the smaller nations.

And then the ICC changed the eligibility criteria. Until 2012 or so, only citizens could represent a national team. But as a result of the new law, anyone who has resided in a particular country for 6 months could represent that country. Those teams that used to field native players fared poorly against the mercenary teams. This completed the rout that was started by the funding cut. Until 10 years ago, there were native players in almost every European team. Now 90% of the European teams don't have a single native player.

Even in this low scoring match, there was one over which went for 30 runs. Dan Christian hit 5 sixes in the over which was bowled by Shakib al Hasan. Without that over, Australia would have recorded their 4th consecutive defeat against Bangladesh. Anyway these matches don't matter now. Australia has already lost the series, as they went down in the first three matches. The next two matches are just for formality. One thing is sure. Australia has some serious introspection to do, after their performance in Bangladesh and West Indies.

Australia is a top team but they were not playing the best team in this series as some of the players like David Warner and a few others opted out of the team and there was injury concerns in the team and the team was literally new playing in spinning wickets. Even the Bangladesh batsman struggled to score runs and that says a lot about the pitch.

No matter how poor the pitch is, we expect a big-3 team like Australia to put up a credible performance. Also, if the pitch was so supportive to the spinners, why the Australian spinners failed to perform? It was the pacer Josh Hazlewood who picked up most number of wickets for Australia. And now coming to David Warner, he prefers to play in franchise T20 leagues instead of representing Australia. The reason behind this move is obvious, as his annual contract with the Sunrisers Hyderabad is worth $1.7 million.
