The issue i see is that the players were dead tired with too much cricket. More cricket will not help them either, they need to have enough rest and not play series one after other and expect to play at their optimal performance. Pakistan is the best team in the tournament and i was checking their preparation released by them and they have a lot of former players like Vernon Philander, Saqlain Mushtaq helping them prepare which is really great.

I don't agree with this. If the players were tired, then the management could have gone for player rotation. On the other hand, the same set of players were retained by Kohli for match after match, despite poor performances from some of the members like Hardik Pandya. When MSD was the captain, he also had some preferences. But none of his preferred set of players were as useless as the ones picked by Kohli. Kohli and Damaadji took nepotism to another level, by denying chances to hardworking youngsters.

India management has a lot of talented players. However, I do not understand why they have a player like Hardik Pandya in the squad. Pandya is not in form. And he's been out of form for a long time. Management should have hired another player to replace Pandya. Unnecessary players can have a detrimental effect on the rest of the team.

I totally agree with your assessment and one more player who disappointed in the Pakistan match was the Indian wicket keeper, instead of batting properly he threw his wicket away when his team needed him the most, hence I feel that they should go for a better wicket keeper. Also with their former player aka Dravid taking over, I expect some major changes to happen in series to come.

I always felt this worldcup that the Indian was there to enjoy their holidays. They had put so much less effort in playing the first two matches that they got kicked out easily. Such tournaments are organised to evaluate the performance of a national team after 2011 the Indian team has lost almost all ICC tournaments under Kohli. Good that he left now BCCI needs to find out someone like Dhoni.

Kohli may not be and will not be a good captain like Dhoni. Of course, Kohli is also responsible for India's departure on a big stage like the World Cup. India should give KL Rahul or Rohit Sharma the captaincy. Unnecessary and formless players should be kept out of the team at the moment. There is one more World Cup next year. India will have to prepare for the next World Cup from now on.

If the England team does not lose any wicket in the first 6 overs and can collect a good run of the power play, then England has a good chance to win the match. Since they got the chance to bat first. With a target of less than 160, it will be very difficult to win this match. England's goal should be to score at least 180 or more than 200.

Well this definitely is a shocker, I already wrote that day that people are being too hasty in saying it will be ENG VS PAK final, knockouts are entirely different from group stages, the pressure is tremendous and every single thing matters, we are witnessing international cricket where all the teams are the best teams its just that which team plays better that day, toss too has been a really important factor in UAE, bowling in the second innings has been a nightmare for bowlers, once again tomorrow toss would be a very big factor, you have to score those 30-40 extra runs to cover yourself from dew.

This match would have been completely under their control if the England bowlers had been able to bowl a little more. They have given 57 runs in the last 3 overs. These two players have to change the scene throughout the match. Neesham's innings of 27 off 11 balls was also quite effective. I think the pitch was a lot more spin helpful. We may see such a pitch in the match between Pakistan and Australia.
