Newzealand has been dominating this tri series. They at the top of the point table at the moment. One factor is that they are playing in their homeground and the other is their openers are in form. I saw today's match between Bangladesh and Newzealand and I pity the Bangladeshi bowlers. 208 runs in T20 is not an easy target to chase especially when you are playing in a different condition than the subcontinent.

Bangladesh played very badly today  They lost today match against  New Zealand by a huge runs. Bangladesh cannot win today's match with New Zealand.  I thought this before but I did not expect Bangladesh to lose by huge runs. There was no excitement in today's match.  So I didn't enjoy watching the game today

Bangladesh has been inconsistent team for a long time now. When you expect them to lose they win and vice-versa. The target was too big to chase. I haven't seen the Bangladesh batters chasing such a big target for sometime now. This tri series is basically preparation for T20WC and looking at the performance of both Pakistan and Bangladesh I don't think it will be ea
sy for them in the world cup.

What an amazing innings by New Zealand batters and an exceptionally great target Glenn Phillips scored 69 runs with just 27 balls(5 sixes) and Devon Conway scored 64 runs (40 balls ) ,with this type of strong and cracking batting this is a sure win for Newzealand.  Bangladesh is not capable of chasing such big targets although they tried to chase but failed . Big win for Newzealand, they deserved it, Pakistan and Bangladesh should work on their batting and balling if they want to stand somewhere in T20 world cup.

In today's match, England failed to collect some more runs. Almost everyone failed in the entire innings with only two players contribution to take the match far. Dawid Malan and Moeen Ali accumulated score 126 from 178 runs in a whirlwind batting for England. But I want to say Australia ahead in this match and provably win this match today.

Tomorrow we have last group match between Bangladesh vs Pakistan which is last for Bangladesh as they are already out of final and good chance for Pakistan which is looking for end of middle order crises, hopefully they will be able to something positive against the worst team in top test playing nations.

Australia losing on their grounds! This is bad for the Australian side as they are hosting the upcoming T20WC. I seriously underestimated the English bowler. I was expecting England to set a target of 200 runs but eventually they didn't and still they won the match. This match was again a practice game for the Australian side. After trying hard the old performance of the Bangladesh team did not regain. Many people see the sudden change in the team as a major problem. Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah and many others are not in the squad, how will Bangladesh team perform well? Yes, it is true that senior players will not always be national team. However, most of the senior players here are not in the squad because the team has been in such a situation. Bangladesh Cricket Board needed to think about the issue.

But then, India are the favorites to win trophy and they bowled out Thailand for just 37 runs in the group stage match. There is not even 1% chance of Thailand proceeding to the final (although this is T20 format). But all that said, they should be proud of what they achieved so far, with very little help from the ICC or the test nations.

It's true that the position the Thailand women's team has come from it is really appreciable. They should be praised. Their match against India will start tomorrow. Maybe the game will be one sided but Thailand will try their best. What Thailand has done is very good, they performed better than the Bangladesh team. Tomorrow we have the match between Indian women and Thailand women in the Asia cup. This is the first time that Thailand has reached the semi-finals stage in Asia cup. But then, India are the favorites to win trophy and they bowled out Thailand for just 37 runs in the group stage match. There is not even 1% chance of Thailand proceeding to the final (although this is T20 format). But all that said, they should be proud of what they achieved so far, with very little help from the ICC or the test nations.

As the India women's team continues to perform consistently well, it is impossible for the Thailand team to stop them. The Thailand team, however, managed to qualify for the semi-finals. But their squad is not very strong. It becomes very difficult for batsmen to score 100-120 runs. The highest score of Thailand team in Asia Cup is 117 runs against Pakistan. Interestingly, in the last match against India women's team, Thailand team lost all wickets for just 37 runs. And India reached the target of victory in just 6 overs. I think we will see India's dominance in the next match as well.

Bangladesh has won only 3 matches against New Zealand in T20 until now. It was a home series for Bangladesh in 2021. Bangladesh had won the five match series by 3-2. Most of those matches score was too low as Bangladesh had made a bowling friendly pitch. Anyway, Bangladesh couldn't make more than 160 runs today as the middle order batsmen failed to show a better performance today. Most probably they will loss the last match against Pakistan tomorrow.
