In T20 cricket we can't predict the outcome that easy. Namibia scoring 164 runs is a big thing. This is chaseable run for Sri Lanka, but they aren't doing the best. Already Sri Lanka have lost 3 wickets scoring 21 runs. Shikongo got an opportunity to take a hat trick. Anyhow this is going to be hard for Sri Lanka to win the match with this match situation.

You are correct I thought it would be an easy game for Srilanka to win and I never imagined that Srilanka would lose to Namibia. The target was not that much and still, they were not able to chase this target. I believe Srilanka became overconfident after winning the Asia cup and did not take this match seriously resulting in this loss.

Look like after winning Asia Cup now they are thinking like Pakistan poor bowling the worst batting and lack of strategy give them shocking defeat but good thing they have two weak opponents and still time to fight back from this defeat and qualify for next round. Jan Frylinck and JJ Smit done good job for them, and they were able to have reasonable target on board after spirited batting they were amazing in bowling and not allowed any Sri Lankan batsmen to have good time at crease all bowlers were at their best, specially veteran David Wiese done good job for them now they have good chances for going into next round.
Tomorrow we have West Indies vs Scotland and then Ireland vs Zimbabwe, two matches full of entertainment going to be played at Hobart.

First of all, I was really surprised to see the scoreboard of Sri Lanka. I thought I was making a mistake or probably someone is doing some kind of prank on me. So I double-checked it and then I triple-checked it. And I finally say that Sri Lanka is being beaten very humiliatingly by Namibia. That was really unexpected for me. No "Nagin Dance" today I guess .

It will be fun to see both matches tomorrow. When it comes to the match West Indies vs Scotland, I think West Indies has a better chance of winning. It is going to be a tough one for me to predict the outcome of the Ireland vs Zimbabwe match-up. Obviously, anyone is apt to think that Zimbabwe will be the winner. But we also cannot forget the fact that Ireland also has shown positive performance recently.

I can not believe it. I didn't watch any of those matches today. But, When I saw the result of the Sri Lanka VS Namibia match. I was stunned. What? Jan Frylinck Scored a Massive 44 from 28 Balls, and Smit scored another massive 31 from 16 balls only. Their batting line seems good. Also, All their bowlers were economical as well. None of them were expensive at all. Would you say the Namibia VS Sri Lanka match was an accident? I would say NO. They deserve it.

How the Sri Lankan women's cricket team disappointed the audience in the Asia Cup final. Comparable men's teams today have disappointed even more. The rhythm of their cricket is lost. How far they will be able to go in such a large event which is obscure. No one ever expects this kind of performance from such a team.

I am also surprised about the Sri Lanka men's cricket team. I still can't believe their defeat. Maybe this is the first time a team like Namibia beat Sri Lanka by 55 runs, honestly I still wonder how that is possible. In fact, this game is never to belittle anyone. Good luck to Namibia.

Seems like Cricket is at its worse in Srilanka these days and they need to improve themselves a lot. Seeing their current performance in the first match, i am having no false hope for them. They may not qualify in the next round and that would be a shame for a team like Srilanka.

UAE and Netherlands are not weak teams. The UAE team has several talented players. And if the performance of the Sri Lankan batsmen does not improve, Sri Lanka will lose against the UAE. The main weakness of UAE and Netherlands is the poor performance of their bowlers. As the Sri Lankan team performed against Namibia, it is not guaranteed that Sri Lanka will win against UAE and Netherlands. It will be very challenging for Sri Lanka to win the next two matches.

It is impossible to justify the way they played in any way. Following the Asia Cup victory, they were unable to win their opening match against Namibia, which was alarming. In case the match gets washed out, then West Indies would be mad. They need at least 4 points from 3 matches to qualify to the next round. BTW, the West Indian bowlers looked pathetic, perhaps with the exception of Akeal Hosein. Alzarri Joseph went for 15 runs from his one over, while Kyle Mayers conceded a total of 24 runs from his two. Given the current situation, Scotland will be in an advantage if the match gets shortened.

I know this match is not that important but I do not think that players are taking it for granted. The way KL Rahul went after the Australian bowlers was an eye candy to watch. At the moment India has lost both the openers and have scored 111 runs in 12 with this pace they might easily reach 200.

I was watching the match. Scotland's batsmen were good enough to keep the run rate. West Indies bowlers were looking for wickets and the same makes them go for good shots. West Indies should focus on stop scoring, by the time automatically pressure will rise up going for big shots. This way can go for wickets. Rain is a big problem and surely throughout the tournament rain is gonna make a big change in the team points table.
