In particular, Sam Curran had a great night with the ball as he was able to take five wickets for only 10 runs in the 3.4 overs he bowled. As a result, England had no problem chasing that small target down, and they won the match by five wickets in hand.

Although England is a strong team but we should not underestimate the Afghanistan team too.  They have the capability of beating any competent team on any given day. In this match, Afghanistan did bowl well but unfortunately, their batting disappoint them. However, I am sure that they will learn from their mistakes and will come back strong in their upcoming matches.

Afghanistan's next match will be against NZ on  October 26 in Melbourne. Though NZ defeated Aussie in the first Super 12 match, I won't blindly bet on NZ team for this match as I know that Afghanistan has the capability of turning the table on any day.

There is a huge gap between franchise based cricket and international cricket. A franchise cricket team consists of a variety of players but in international matches there is a well-organized team made up of players from that country. A few players in Afghanistan cricket are good enough for T20 but at the international level they are not yet qualified to fight with any good country with their whole team. But no doubt they are doing well. Their participation in cricket has not been very long but they have come a long way from that comparative position.

Finally against Afghanistan England won the match. England reached the target losing 5 wickets in 18.1 overs. The England team did a little better in bowling but could not do so well in batting. But it must be admitted that the England team's game was a bit better. And won the match for being a little better. But I think England fans are not satisfied with this good. I watched the whole game, although the match was won by England. But none of the batsmen could play good shots. I think the England team needs to be stronger to reach the end goal

I already knew that England would win. Because when Afghanistan set a target of 112 runs, everyone understood that England would win. But Afghanistan's bowlers have to be praised as they bowled brilliantly for 112 runs, which took England 18 overs.

I thought Afghanistan will bat first in this match they will score 160 runs but they were all out for 112 runs.  But seeing this run, I thought that England will win this match very easily. We have seen that England's bowling has bowled very well. And England's batting has also played well.

Australians couldn't chase down such a huge total, after their bowlers leaked more than 200 runs. None of the Australian bowlers had an economy rate of less than 9 runs per over. Pat Cummins was the most expensive one, going wicketless after conceding 46 runs from his 4 overs. On the other hand, the New Zealanders bowled with such a great control. And none of them had economy rate above 8 runs per over. Quality of bowling decided the outcome in this match. If not for the valuable runs added by Pat Cummins towards the end, Australia would have struggled to reach three digits.

ICC should increase the squad for T20 World Cup. How is the World Cup in only 12 teams? Where football world cup is held by 32 countries. West Indies are out today. Sri Lanka would have been left out if it had been a little bit different. ICC wants to restrict cricket to few countries. It is by no means desirable. In order to spread cricket around the world, more teams should be allowed to participate in the World Cup.

India is not coming to Pakistan to play in the Asia cup because of security reasons. There is no statement by the Indian cricket board that they are not coming because of the fear of loss. This is just a vague argument and has no basis.

You can argue that since other teams like Australia & England can visit Pakistan so what is wrong with India? Well, you being a local citizen should know better that the hatred for Indians in Pakistan is far more as compared to Australia or England.

So can see the hate which you spread between the two teams, so think about the players who will surely hesitate to visit each other country.
The two teams' political situation is quite tense and that is the reason it is better to play the tournament at a neutral venue.
