Australia beat South Africa in the 3rd T20 by 5 Wickets. South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first. While batting first they score 190 runs in loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.  Donovan Ferreira batting well scored 48 runs in only 21 balls and helped South Africa to set a target of 191 runs for Australia. Australia chased down the target in 191 runs in loss of 5 wickets in 17.5 overs and leads the series by 3-0. Australia whitewashes South Africa in the 3-match home series It is a big disappointment for South Africa Cricket and fans.

The player of the match is Travis Head for his outstanding batting performance scoring 91 runs in 48 balls with 8 fours and 6 sixs and helping chase down a big target easily for Australia.  Mitchell Marsh earned the player of the Series award for his amazing all-round performance. Australia won the series 3-0, and that too by big margins in all the matches. They were playing under a young captain (Mitchell Marsh), and the squad comprised of very young and inexperienced players like Tanveer Sangha, Spencer Johnson and Josh Inglis. And furthermore, South Africa had the home advantage. For the Proteas, the lack of form of some of their players including Temba Bavuma and Lungi Ngidi should be a concern. They can't depend upon Nortje and Rabada for all the matches. The only bright spot yesterday was the performances from Donovan Ferreira and Reeza Hendricks.  

The main reason for South Africa's poor performance in this series is not hosting regular bilateral series. If a small team is regularly involved in cricket and regularly participates in bilateral series, then their performance will definitely be good, but when a professional team is not involved in international cricket for some time and at that moment, if a series is organized against a strong team, then in that series  It is normal to do bad things. Some of the important players of the team are injured as well as all the players of the team are not able to give their best performance due to which they lost the series by 3-0 to Australia despite their home advantage. New Zealand and England was interesting, i expected England trying to chase down 202 runs set by New Zealand but the nerves got the better of them and ended up suffering a huge defeat, even with the best T20 team on papers they will choke under pressure .

As England secured the series by winning the first two matches, today's match was not a crucial match for them. England's players also did not play the match seriously. Otherwise they would not have batted so badly. I can't find any similarity in England's batting today with the first two matches. Was expecting to see a competitive match. The England team disappointed me. A team as experienced and strong as England was defeated by a huge margin of 74 runs in T20 matches. However, the ODI World Cup is not long away. England's batsmen must maintain consistency of performance if they want to do well in the ODI World Cup.

Yesterday we just witnessed an impressive fightback from the New Zealand in this third match of this series and now series is still alive for them as last and final match is going to play at Nottingham on 5th September which is going to be interesting match as now New Zealand batting having good innings which can give them good total on board specially while they have Finn Allen and Glenn Phillips in good form it's never been easy to beat them in any game with Ish Sodhi and Kyle Jamieson were also impressive in bowling who not allow English batsmen to play free like they have done in early matches.

After having 202 on board it was really impressive bowling from the New Zealand attack which helps team for preventing English batsmen to play aggressively and fought back into this match and having sealed the series other than Buttler no other English batsmen were able to stay and done something good for his team.

I actually thought that South African women were going to win the match, but the problem was South African women were not able to have a good strike rate. Only the openers were able to have a good strike rate for South Africa. Other than that the strike rate of other players were not good which made South Africa suffer in the end. Because at one point South Africa was scoring better than the asking rate.

I did also say that it is not easy to protect women’s cricket. They can perform very well at one moment and the next moment they can start performing badly. That's what happened here. And them not being able to make big partnerships was also a problem. Wolvaardt was the only one who performed respectfully. But also credit to Pakistan women for being able to turn things around in favour of them.

Pakistan women's team won three matches. But if the South African women team could have put in a little bit of effort in the third T20I match, there was definitely a chance of victory. Sune luus spent more balls than runs here scoring just 13 runs off 17 balls. I can't blame the individual batsmen, as they all performed well. So the gap of only six runs would have been covered here if Sune luus could have performed a little better then South Africa women victory in the last match would have been assured.

I would still hesitate before calling the South African team as weak w.r.t. Pakistan. Obviously no one was expecting them to lose to Pakistan, but we need to analyze whether this is a sign of things to come, or just a one-off occurrence. Afterall, Pakistan women enjoyed the home advantage. Also, South Africa was impacted by the retirement of Shabnim Ismail, who used to open bowling for them. Ismail holds the record for fastest ever ball bowled by a women cricketer (128 kmph or 80 mph, achieved during match against England in 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup).
