The final match of WPL is taking place now. Delhi Women's team qualified for the final by winning 6 out of 8 matches. The team was in very good form. But today they will bat so badly that probably no one expected.

The Delhi batsmen had performed well in their previous two matches against the RCB Women's team. Delhi gave targets of 182 runs and 195 runs in the two matches respectively. Despite setting a target of 182 in the last match, the Delhi team won by just 1 run. And so I expected Delhi to collect big in today's match.

Delhi's batsmen lost all wickets to collect only 113 runs. The two openers were off to a great start. Delhi lost their first wicket after collecting 64 runs in 7.1 overs. Shafali Verma was dismissed for 44 off 27 balls. And after that no batsman could stay at the crease for long. Delhi has given a target of only 114 runs today. The title is likely to be won by RCB.

RCB Women's team is slowly moving towards victory. Batting at a target of only 114 runs, Bengaluru women's team has no chance of defeat. We expected the final match to be competitive. I have watched very few Womens Premier League matches live. I was watching the final match today. But it was not expected to see such a one-sided match today.

Delhi bowlers could not take a single wicket of RCB women's team in 8 overs. The performance of the batsmen as well as their bowlers is also very poor. Bangalore women team has already collected 49 runs. Bengaluru's batsmen need only 65 runs off 72 balls to win.

What a surreal fall! DC is done and dusted at mere 113 runs, at one stage I expected double of that as target for RCB.

Seeing fall like this I wouldn't expect an easy win for RCB either (if it can happen to DC, it can happen to them also) but definitely RCB has upper hand here to win the trophy.

DC-W were not even able to play there full 20 overs rather they were bowled out in 18.3 overs for just 113 runs. They got a decent start of 64 runs in 7 overs. Both openers did there best, Shafali Verma played a brilliant knock of 44 runs on just 27 balls. Once RCB picked by Shafali Verma wickets start falling and whole team got out before 20 overs. With 113 runs on the board there are not much chances of DC-W of winning the title.

A small target for RCB women in the finals and they seem to be easily achieving it specially when they have Ellyse Perry, the highest scorer of the tournament as their captain.
Even though Delhi capitals played all their games brilliant, they failed to bat 20 overs in the finals. Except for their openers Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma, all of their batting lineup collapsed. The 7th over of the RCB's bowling was fatal for DC. Sophie Molineux too first 3 important wickets in 4 balls with her excellent line and length.
Even though RCB is already one down, they'll be going all in as the target is small.

Another final for DC-W and another loss. RCB-W didnt tried to chase the target aggressively rather they keep the chase steady and won the match in last over with just 3 balls to spare. DC-W batting is the main reason why they lost another final game. Sophie Molineux and Shreyanka Patil destroyed DC-W batting by picking 3 and 4 wickets respectively. While chasing target of 114 runs, RCB top 4 batters played there part with full responsibility.

Despite losing 4 wickets for just 14 runs, the Afghanistan team managed to set a huge target of 154 runs. The pairing of Sadiqullah Atal and Mohammad Nabi was very effective. These two batsmen have done excellent batting at the time of need for the team. Afghanistan collected 79 runs from this pair. Nabi was dismissed with 59 runs off 38 balls and Sadiqullah managed to score 35 runs off 32 balls.

Rashid Khan batted well in the last minute. He collected 25 runs in just 12 balls. And because of this innings, the Afghanistan team was able to give the target of 152 runs. A target of 152 runs is a big enough target on this pitch. Afghanistan is more likely to win this match.

To be honest Afghanistan were going with one of thier worst form because they continuously losing important matches at recent time which is quite disappointed but now they are making changes by shuffling different names in order to build a strong Line up, it's true that current performance of them are quite off colour but hope things will be settled down well in upcoming future, Anyway Afghanistan top order and some middle order batter again complete failed again a normal bowling lineup and giveaway his wickets quite easy while just the aged experienced guy Nabi scored and through his contribution they just scored 150 around target which is not enough against previous match winner team also thier in form batter Balbirnie are still on crease so for Afghanistan to be in the game they should dismissed this guy otherwise things will be out of thier hand because target isn't enough to be defended till they didn't delivered extra ordinary performance

Afghanistan has been able to give a pretty decent target of 153. I do not think it is going to be easy for Ireland to chase that successfully. But Ireland has definitely started very well. Ireland have only played nine overs and they have already scored 71 runs and already they lost 3 wickets. I think Afghanistan could put on a better target if they did not lose so many quick wickets towards the start. At one point they were 14/4. It was a good recovery. But the way Ireland is going about it, I doubt Afghanistan will be able to defend the total successfully. They will have to pick up wickets quickly.

Afghanistan had a tough time getting the first wicket, but as soon as they got the first wicket, the rest were not that hard. At the start of the innings, Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled very poorly. I would say Afghanistan are very lucky to win this match. The team lost four wickets for just 14 runs. Still managed to collect big due to excellent batting by Atal and Nabi. Rashid Khan's innings of 25 off 12 balls was also much needed.

Ireland's top order batted well. Balbirne scored 45 runs, but his batting was very slow. Balbirne collected 45 runs from 44 balls. However, Afghanistan won the match due to Rashid Khan's brilliant bowling. Rashid Khan gave only 14 runs in 4 overs and took 4 important wickets. The series is now tied at 1-1. The last match is expected to be more competitive.
