Apart from Mumbai Indians opener Ishan Kishan, every batsman in the top order performed well. Since the target was not too big, the top order batsmen played better in comparison. But I am fed up with the batting of Tim David, Dewald Brevis and Coetzee. Brevis batting was very slow in this match. He scored the highest runs for Mumbai. But the strike rate of Brevis was only 121. Tim David's batting was also slow. He collected 11 runs off 10 balls. The slow batting of these two batsmen was one of the reasons for Mumbai's defeat.

There is no doubt that the Gujarat bowlers have bowled very controlled. As they well knew, the target of 169 runs was very difficult to win. A win is impossible without a good performance by the bowlers. Gujarat's bowlers gave only 3 extra runs in this match. On the other hand, Mumbai bowlers gave 12 extra runs.

Things are not going on well with the Mumbai Indians. The replacement of Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya hasn't been accepted by the fans. Yesterday when Hard dick went for the toss, MI fans were booing him. And I am sure that some of the team members are also unhappy with this decision. Hard dick chose to bowl the first over as well, instead of Bumrah. This also didn't worked as he was quite expensive. If things are not sorted out, then there is a good possibility that MI may not even qualify for the playoff stage.

I feel making Hardik as a captain has created rift within the MI and when there is lack of unity there is potential for downfall. It would have been a different thing had it was Rohit who himself decided that Hardik should be a captain and asked fans to support him.

MI should have done in the manner that CSK followed, but still they backstabbed Rohit and without informing him, they removed him from the captaincy position. Not only Rohit, but many players were unhappy from this. Pandya also treated very rudely to Rohit by making him field at multiple positions. Pandya was bought because he was a great finisher, but still he wasn’t able to finish the match. Hence, it’s a well deserved loss for Hardik.

Different team management and every management has own way of handling it and the way they took lacks support from fans which created rift all around the media but cricketers commented that there is no way management made Hardik as captain without discussing with Rohit but we never know what happened until the persons involved in it expresses.

It’s my prediction because if look at the history of another cricketer that is Naseem Shah. This is a great achievement for the Gujarat Giants team. Their team worked hard and fought hard and won the match.  Among them the best performance has been from their bowlers.  Their bowler worked hard and struggle and took wickets stop runs and won the match defeat the opposition and securing victory themselves.  Their batsmen have also done well.  Unfortunately for Mumbai Indians they will lose the match because of this.

Tonight RCB did bowl well and 2 bouncers per over rule did play its part and it's working in favor of bowlers, which is an incredible addition IMO, otherwise batters feast on bowlers every single time.
