First thing that people do not want to take some their to convert their money between altcoin and bitcoin, this is going to take some time to proceed this. Second thing, if there is an easy way with higher cost I would always take it since it will be on your wallet in no time, so why bothering about this fee. And people do not bet that small right to cover some fee just to withdraw it. At least you make a double from your first deposit and make the withdrawal right? So if it is 10% fee you still got your 90% and it is still profit
To be honest, I have never coverted directly coins on Windice site, from bitcoin to any other three altcoins (Dogecoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin); and vice versa. Because I tried to estimate the real number of altcoins I can get if I convert my bitcoin to Dogecoin, and compare to number of Dogecoin I can get if I use the same amount of Bitcoin to buy Dogecoin direcetly on exchanges. Then I gave up. However, I don't know that Windice gives us options to speed up transaction speed by optional withdrawal fees or not (I have never noticed about that, just use default option). I believe you have issue on transaction issue or direct options like on bittrex exchange. Here you need to check the withdrawal fee at the site at the withdrawal page. As i know transaction fees at windice is pretty average and the transactions can be done very fast. If you face any problems on transaction, you may share tx id here to check and help you... |

I think it is mostly for ease of use and not to be used as an exchange anyway. Windice doesn't provide you that option so you use it as an exchange, it gives you that option so you can switch to any coin you want and gamble with it (and with the hopes that you lose that money of course since this is a casino and that is how casinos make money).
So, to be upset that you are not getting good rates on exchanging the currencies is a bit weird since if you want to exchange one coin to another just use an exchange then, however if you want to switch back to playing with another coin then you wouldn't mind the rate anyway since you are about to risk losing more than the difference on a dice roll in a minute anyway. That is why I think even the existence of such option is great.

Windice's exchange rate is kind of competitive there's a 5% difference when you compare their rates against big exchanges. I also agree whenever I use an exchange in a gambling site it's mostly because I prefer to bet with other coins. If gambling sites uses dynamic fees on their withdrawals then that's reasonable for anyone to use an exchange as a way to avoid high fees. |

I have a question,,, are you the same guys who also launched the DAPP on EOS called Windice? I saw some ads about it, just asking to join Windice on EOS. Apparently they are top 10 most active dapps on the platform now. Did this have anything to do with the DDOS attack that is going on now?

That was normal on a site that having maintenance to keep their site safe from the possible leak and that might cause of possible hack. Maybe there are abusers trying to abuse again the faucet and the referrals. Sad to say Windice.io now building progress to avoid abuses. BTW have you played the chat rooms trivias yet?

It is just such a marvelous statement on the competence of the windice staff that they had some issues but they worked on it very quickly and solved it. I don't know where they are based so maybe it was even during the night that this happened and still managed to get it back very quickly.
I really like the people behind this website, games are awesome too and I love the website but even the people who do not like the website itself (why wouldn't anyone I don't know) should be accepting the fact that people behind this from the owner and ceo to the smallest least paid position person all are giving their %100 on this website, and the good thing is it shows as well, you see that passion in their responses and their hard work like this is their own product that they would want if they were the customer instead of the owner.

This time, Windice team announced clearly about the issues, and estimated maintenance time to fix issues, here and in Windice forum. I did not actually observed how long it took till the time Windice site back to normal operations, but I don't think it actually lasted more than one hour. Since the time Windice team announced in their forum through one of their staffs about the estimated one-hour maintenance, they came back within less than one hour (if I did not estimated my waiting time wrongly). Anyone whom actually noted the time of maintenance, can confirm it here.
Well said, the team keep their statement and make sure that the site will be functional again without compromising any data and funds inside the gamblers accounts, kudos to all of them, site is running back and everyone can play back and enjoy the game. Good luck |

This one is the second time I witness something suddenly occured with Windows site. The first one happened months ago with abusement attacks in early weeks after the site opened for divers and promotions as well as faucets run. The team solved that abusements attack well by frozen abusers' accounts, and move further to adjust the site and protect both site's funds and users' balance. This latest one looks not a serious one, or at least we have not know exactly what happened hours ago. However, finally the site lively operated again. Congrats.
Its good to a casino that they are able to fix or should i say there technical team are very fast. Players can be at ease team are doing its best. Congrats btw for resolving issues fast. |
