if in the future many new projects choose to use IEO, ico will completely die. there will be no opportunity for projects that use ICO, it is difficult to raise funds when there is concern that investors have taken action elsewhere.

It varies from project to project. The last IEOs are selling out their tokens within seconds and there are some projects like Outofthecloud that are holding their sales for more than several months and it is normal.

Most ICO this days do not have time frame. This is because of low token sales which will definitely affect the roadmap if token sales duration is sold. Most of the project that start ICO last year are still actively looking for investors in order to make even the soft cap. In 2016, many of the project will even reach completion before the closing date that is announced. This because then, a lot of investors are trooping out to contribute in investing into project but reverse is the case now

Returning to the original question to what extent the ICO has survived, we have different opinions, I think the ICO will continue to survive because ICO Cryptocurrency plays a very important role in building investor and developer cooperation in bringing together quality ideas in the future. ICO varies over a period of time depending on the developer so sometimes if someone has not received a gift it might be a scam.

the sale phase of ico and ieo now also does not guarantee the price of traded assets will survive well on the market. because the IEO is almost like a short-term investment or short-term trading. most want to sell after they can be traded. it will still make the price go down. all of that apart from the success they get when the initial sale.

I did an ICO that lasted for 12 months. And in the end it turned out a failure. Normal ICO should be no more than 3 months.
Normal ICO is not determined by sales time. Due to the current situation, there are many ICOs that stopped project until better case. Also, there are ICOs that have been extended for about 1 year since they cannot reach the softcap.
if in my opinion no one knows when crypto will survive because it is very difficult to predict, but within these 2 years ICO must have survived because there are still many people who use it

I think as long the team is still a ctive in their social media's or always give update about I think you don't need to worry because it means the project is still on. It takes time to every project to end, it's depends to them if there funds is enough to make their project develop.

because we all don't know when crypto survives. yes, of course all we can do is try and think positively that crypto will improve again as before. because I think crypto is too difficult to break, because there are already too many people who believe.

How long does Ico last?

So, my friend is participating in the subscription campaign in the OUTOFTHLOUD project. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4814891.0
then something has changed and now https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5085373
The rewards program began on August 1 and continues to this day. It has been 8 long months. Posts in social networks stopped at the end of 2018. For all Telegram questions, when the program ends for a fee, my friend gets one answer - after Ico. When asked when Ico will end - silence.
It’s a pity to throw a signature, it turns out 8 months of work wasted ...

Tell me, is there a limit on the duration of Ico? It can not last forever?

I guess I would rather answer your question in a generalize way but in some case sarcasm.
Basically, ICO last forever, yes I am saying that because as long as investors are there, market of ICO's will still collect huge volume of bitcoins, ETH, and etc. Yes, ICO's last forever, from 3 months of road map finalization to a year of despair for investors and bounty hunters waiting for their project to succeed. And yes, ICO's last forever.

SEC is now very actively tracking unscrupulous players in the cryptocurrency market. This is what influenced the fall in the cost of cryptocurrency, as many users cannot implement their plans. it is necessary to take into account the fact that any movements in the cryptocurrency market that promise good earnings attract a lot of money. And today this dementia is absent.

I think ICO is something that must be abandoned, I invest in several ICOs and there is no clarity in a year, maybe I was hit by a scam but this is a lesson for anyone to be aware of the ICO.

I think not all of the ico is scam, there are still good and amazing ico on the feild, i believe that we only need to choose correctly to avoid loss, because we all know that there are so many scam ico on the crypto feild now a days. Ico is still an amazing ways to earn in crypto but we can also loss on it if we ingage in scam or maybe abandoned ico.

Some projects have been continuing for a long time causing a lot of trouble for bounty hunters. I think that bounty hunters shouldn't participate in those projects that last longer than 12 weeks.

this is unpredictable and this totally depends on the project team. I have seen ICO run for complete 1year and some 6months while many run approximately

The fact is that today bounty companies last about 24 weeks and for certain companies this is not the limit. It seems to me that the more, the less results.

There are ICOs that lasted for three months and of course there strong also those that have been running since June of 2018 . Most times it is still the discretion of the project owners to decide on how long an ico should long most times the during is determined by how soon they meet their target

The team of some ICOs themselves do not know when their ICO will end.
The major cause of this problem most times, is lack of proper planning, so I will not be surprised I such is happening.
This is why we also need to be careful of the type of project to join.

If you are intending to participate in any campaign,it is good practice to get some clarity on when the campaign will come to an end,if they are not forthcoming, maybe you consider some other campaign. Many ICOs are prolonged because of the bears that lasted months.I don't see why bounties should last more than 2-3months at best

my view, ico will last a long time my reason is because ico is growing every day and many of several countries want make projects in crypto world but my view of ICO scam always there, so we must be careful about investing in the ICO

There is no written rule how long is the duration of a bounty campaign, but due to the bearish market they are longer than they  usually used to be. If the team is not active and answering the question on telegram that is a red flag.

Of course, every ICO will provide a sales schedule for tokens that are done so if the things experienced by your friends are only part of a scam project, in my opinion because there is no clear certainty, because I also often get projects like that and if we feel very lost and have wasted a lot of time working on projects.
