Before participating ICO make sure that they have duration when ICO ends because maybe participants will be suffer if it tales very long before the ICO ends. The minimum is 3 months and telegram created for questions to answer if they have question of investors or participants but maybe better for them to have specific months to end but sometimes they extend more weeks or months to reach the target to become successful.
I had a bad experience, when I joined ico gonetwork, where there was no information about the end, and at that time the campaign ran for 1 year, and finally scam. the participants did not get their rights. really make us feel angry, but we have to get up, at that time the last campaign was only listed TBA, and the manager replied, will be announced later

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

There is no limit to the duration of the ICOs. The aim of ICO is to meet the funding needs of the project through investors. Therefore, the ICO will either continue until it finds funding support or it will fail and be canceled. I was participate two bounty campaign too which its ICOs continue almost one year. And unfortunately I didn't get a profitable reward as a result of waiting so long.

Various ICOs has their own time frame it's not fixed for all projects. Some can last for a mo th other two months others more it's all decided upon by the project having the ICO exercise.

as far as I know, if the team stops or postpones their project because the funds they have collected as long as it does not meet the specified stage. but the story is different if the team and the developer are not active in the telegram channel, social media or in the bounty forum it's a red warning to you ... I often pay attention to projects like that, most teams are long-winded in answering participant questions and in the end it turns out that such projects are scams .

It depends on the market. An ICO can be sold out within several seconds and could last for one year and do not collect enough funds at the end. During bullish market ICOs are more likely to raise funds faster rather than on the falling one.

ICOs are already dead. 99% of them can´t achieve at least soft cap without exchange help. And I think that we needed this situation because they have to realize that they need to be really professional to raise some money. Nobody is now investing into doubtful ICOs.

How long does Ico last?

So, my friend is participating in the subscription campaign in the OUTOFTHLOUD project. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4814891.0
then something has changed and now https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5085373
The rewards program began on August 1 and continues to this day. It has been 8 long months. Posts in social networks stopped at the end of 2018. For all Telegram questions, when the program ends for a fee, my friend gets one answer - after Ico. When asked when Ico will end - silence.
It’s a pity to throw a signature, it turns out 8 months of work wasted ...

Tell me, is there a limit on the duration of Ico? It can not last forever?

I think scammers such as Adab Solution had a 9 month ICO and in the end they scammed their bounty participants.

Some ICOs last a few weeks and some a few months. Each to their own but I would advise against promoting any project unless you have guarantees about your bounty funds.

In order to become a successful bounty participant the requirements for joining the bounty campaign have to be analyzed with great attention in order to prevent the uncomfortable situations. The average market rate of the bounty rewards is unknown due to the unknown exchange agreements. At least 6 month is standard for reaching the soft cap in ICOs.
