I am having over 1200 merits already, is this selfish interest? I do not think so. It is for the interest of young people that are coming by having more merit sources in our community here. It is about us having more good posters which can be a reflection of merit sources the community is having. I am the second fastest growing member that registered in 2020 and I do not need to be a merit source to get goings and if you people think it will not help Nigerians here, and what makes you think I will be the next merit source? It can be anyone that qualifies for it in the local community, best if it is competitive. Being a merit source will not help me as my account is well established even that I thought it could be, I will say thanks to God for that. Although, I am kind of being psychological and having a local board or more merit sources is not for me but for us. Kind of psychological because it will be good to prove how good we are than hiding ourselves. So, why think it is selfishness?

I will rest my case because of this. I am only following what is appropriate and that can help us. We should not have the mentality that English is not welcomed on this thread, even the OP post is completely or almost completely in English, we should welcome the two.

Everybody will like to be in Chipmixer, but not really the focus but a way we Nigerians can attain a local board, but it is not even a local board that matters to me now, but to discuss what will help we Nigerians. I think this is getting resolved which has not been addressed before but now, in no condition should anyone that post in English here should be attacked while Pidgin also is greatly accepted. This is Bitcointalk, not just a simple forum to be compared with.

I think the question should be 'if there is English thread, will Pidgin thread be affected? Not the other way around.

If there is an active member requesting for such, I think it should not be a problem because the member wants to contribute in English on this forum which will go us far if others also support it. I still do not get why denying ourselves of the English everyone can speak and write?

Is Indian a native English country? Why should only Pidgin be here? Just a genuine reason? Other languages are on translators, I even saw Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa on translators, where is Pidgin? If Pidgin is not on any translator, if you want to apply for another merit source, who will read it translate it when it can not be translated. We need a language that can be used to examine us by others on this forum for support and mind convincing. And not that Pidgin board will be left inactive, it will still be active.

You have made a valid argument. I don't really know how the merit source selection works. In the time our community has been around, Pidgin and English have been widely used. That has been the status quo around here. Tbvh, I've seen people emphasize on pidgin being the main and probably - the only used language for expression.  For me, I ultimately believe everyone has a choice to make on which language to use for expressing themselves in this community. That said, I have no problem with anyone regardless of which language they use. That's the reason why I was asking if there's any reason why there should be dedicated threads for each language. Another point to note is that, there would be a split in community discussions since we might have different topics of discussion at the same times in these threads.

Like I said, I don't know how how the merit source selections work or how other sub boards operate. But if you feel this would be a great step for us all to take, then you have my backing. I'm down for whatever would take our community to the next level as I have a vested interest in seeing this community grow.

Brother, all dis talk no matter now If not e go belike, why we dey fight for the board na to get merit source so we fit exchange merit within ourselves for lost dem wey dey no go understand to observe us. All dis small small matta go come later, I no even dey understand why e dey become matta now. When we get the board, we fight for merit source because technically we no get one.

Yes, we have all agreed that any language in Nigeria can now fit into this thread. Also English can fit into this thread, I have ways I was posting it before, what is mostly related to Nigeria which can not fit to be on English boards are what I was posting in English here before I was attacked like what I was doing was wrong when I have my obvious genuine reasons. But now all has been clearly addressed which should not have gone far if we weren't mute about it before. To post here English contents is not the problem but we should not only focus on Pidgin is the matter, it will not be good if we see it the way posters here were seeing it before, we should focus on both. I did not just post in English if my posts are observed and I will like others to have this posting method as it will take us far.

Imo, Bitcoin no dey go anywhere for now. Resistance dey $40000, support dey $30000. If e continue like this while no positive news, the price fit decrease pass $30000. All-time-high has been attained until next having in 2024. Just my take on this be that, but it can be otherwise.

Me being dey think of December to next year (2022) February the market can be bullish, especially the week immediately after new year begins. But all-time-high no go dey attainable, but the market may be bullish at the time according to my analyzes which makes me have such speculation. What still dey fear me is if the price of bitcoin will decrease below $30000 before the next bull market will begin.

If bitcoin falls below $30k then it's a blessing in disguise to buy at least one of it and hodl we've seen such fall before in 2013 bitcoin was trading at $123 and toll up to  $1150 and after a few weeks it went down to $750 and hit all time low again in the beginning of the year 2015 when bitcoin touches the $313 mark, when bitcoin falls it brings so much hope...do not forget bitcoin jumped from $720 in March in 2017 to $20,000 in December 2017...bull market is about to start before the end of the year.

December not feasible for CBN digital currency launch – Experts

The CBN made an announcement recently about the launch of digital Naira before the end of this year, but economist and the Chairman, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Abuja Branch, Prof. Uche Uwaleke, told our correspondent  that the level of the country’s economic development among other financial concerns makes the launch of a CBN digital currency before the end of the year unfeasible.

Waiting you people think about this? If you read the news in details, there are good points how CBN can not be able to launch digital naira in haste. Even digital Yuan has been a long term project now while also USA has declared their move to launch digital Dollar long time ago last year IIRC. Me too dey think why the rush, I think CBN do not have to be in rush to launch digital Naira. Waiting you people think about this?

First of, no be Theymos talk ham, no be admin wey talk ham, not be any Bitcointalk.org staff wey talk ham, na just a member wey talk ham. I never tay for this forum, but I know some occurrences. The first issue wey we get na because say na Africa board we wanted, but later we make a conclusion underneath say make we change ham to Nigeria as per say na we Nigerians dey here. Later I remembered the day I made a suggestion with Brainboss say make we even change the language to Pidgin, but I thought that no go mean say at least some of our posts no go be for English until I dey see ham recently when people wan dey attack English posters.

We proposed for local board, I know the legendary guy wey talk ham say na English we dey speak, that Pidgin go help, but na just a member (although highly ranked, my respect) wey talk ham, no be admin, no be staff. I still dey maintain my stance on this 'that na activities' we need, we fit dey communicate in any language we want. If we dey communicate for Pidgin and no English, it can result to some setback for us later. I gave all my valid reasons which I believe would help us in the long run. If no reasons dey, that go be different case.

Make we no even get the mind set say we want local board, let us just dey post and be helping one another for here, if we go get local board, not should be what we go dey haste about. I no go lie you bro. E tire me to always go back to my wallet and the the value of my tokens don diminish to a bare minimum. Coins like BNB and eth don even go classic 50% dump. That's more than half of person holding. Regardless of market correction, I believe say reversal dey very close. E no go dey too long now, I mean, If you look how much institutional investors dey in the business already and that correction been somehow dey expected. Also point no dey to sell now for person wey no sell earlier when price still dey at the top.
