So whats going on with sha2..any plans?

I am searching for methods of how to increase SHA's value these days.
It seems we only have two methods can do recently.

1.update wallet with new feature.(example:SilkCoin)
2.setup a multipool.(example:BlackCoin)

I am still searching for other methods, something better.
If I cannot find something better soon, I believe the multipool maybe our next step.

I think multipool will be interesting when the coin is in demand. My opinion for the long term, the possibility of anonymous transactions will be much more useful (note that I do not know how it is difficult to achieve).

Well damn... Just saw that Shacoin is back. Too bad I already deleted my wallet with 100K+ coins.

It's now a little more rare. lol

Funny, i was just cleaning out my old wallets too. However, it doesn't take much room to save the wallet.dat files. Smiley

I always keep those and delete the blockchains (those are what are memory hungry).

We need to rebuild community

The best way to expand community is to organize voting giveaway at http://altcoingiveaways.com/ ( I can invest 1 million for this purpose).

But first:

1. we need to get listed on mintpal
2. we need to sort out problem with another currency sha1coin that uses SHA Coin code

I'm already undergoing a giveaway at: http://www.shabux.com/?x=forum&fid=1&sid=2&tid=5 and we have at least 60 new installed and credited wallets in the network.

Also, shabux has +1600 registered users. When people reach 1000 SHA payout minimum they will need to install Shacoin walet to receive their earnings, what means another +1000 wallets.

Earn Shacoins simply by adding ShaBux referral link to your signature.

Go to: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;sa=forumProfile

Paste this code to your signature. Replace "username" with your ShaBux username.

Code:
[url=http://www.shabux.com/?r=username]ShaBux.com[/url] Paid-to-click Website for [url=http://www.shacoin2.com]ShaCoin[/url]

You earn 50% from your referrals clicks. Also, you are supporting ShaCoin community.

when updating to rev 2 I cleared everything except wallet.dat.  starting fresh always seems to work.

If you don't want to do that, I would suggest checking your config file is up to date, and delete the peer.dat file.  this will then download fresh peers from the seednodes.

Official Faucet updated: Payout Ratio Increased.

Hi Frank

Faucet works great! i just added 100k to the balance.

I've received 43 SHA, but in my opinion is way to much, as I've recently added the faucet to shabux main page. I'll have 100k visitors tomorrow, so I'm afraid faucet will dry out too fast.

I thing reasonable payout is 5-10 SHA/hour.
I can also start promoting it on other bitcoin related PTC's but I must be sure your server can handle the traffic.

Download link would be handy too (for new users) Something like this: Don't have shacoin address? Get it here... shacoin2.com

nice, I also want to know if the server can handle the traffic or not.
the faucet's increased will last 12-24 hours or so. it is 10-100 SHA/hour now.
I will reduce it tomorrow.

Scratch that! I just found an old wallet backup!

Yo dawg, I heard you like backups. So I backed up your backups in a single backup. B)

I'm back!

I've a technical question as well. On the stake arrow, right after a stake is finished, it says I have some ridiculous amount of time to wait till the next stake. It's obviously not the case, so I'm just wondering how it derives the number? Once it gets down to where it's close, it's fairly accurate, but before that it shows like a few thousand years Tongue

Also, what is the actual staking time supposed to be? I don't recall, and I don't know if it got altered with the recent changes. Just curious, here, not trying to throw any trouble out. My wallet is working very well.
