Oh...  Def agree on Bo Nickal.  And he's the kind of guy you like rooting for.  He's smart and articulate in interviews and acts like a regular guy from what I've seen.  Total opposite of Adesanya who's trying too hard to be cool but it's all just cringe.  I used to like him when he was still coming up the rankings...  But now, meh.  Not a fan.

Michael Chandler is preparing hard for the match up if you follow his social media and the match up against Conor McGregor is an golden opportunity for him to make a substantial amount of money and hopefully he will be able to fight him.

I have no doubt that Chandler will be ready, the question is if McGregor will. As far as we know he hasn't re-entered the USADA pool yet, and the soonest he can fight is 6 months from re-entering (unless they make an exemption for him).

I knew who he was even before I saw his face or saw any of his fights, because Dana White was propping him up on many different occasions. So it doesn't look like they're trying to side-line him because his not entertaining enough, but more like his building his career at the right pace. He already pretty famous for a guy with only 5 fights who's not even ranked in the top ten.
And it's not like being loud and mouthy = more entertaining. Everyone trying to be next McGregor became annoying and gets boring pretty quickly (see Paddy Pimblett)

Nono, it's different from calm and shy with no personality.  With Bo Nickal, he's a breath of fresh air from the UFC...  Calm, calculated but still exuding with charisma like Nickal.  And away from the McGregor kind of personas, which was fun, but the McGregor persona many fighters are emulating is getting kinda old now.  I mean look where McGregor is today.  Lmao.  He may be rich, but he sucks now.  Khabib turned out to be the better guy with a better legacy.

Anyway, yeah...  Bo Nickal is the kind of guy you want to watch interviews and press conferences because he's just being himself.

Imagine watching pre fight promotion in a fight like Bo Nickal vs someone like Shavkal Rakhmonov. One is to positive to trashtalk, the other barely speaks English. Most boring talks in pre fight, savage fight in cage. I just cant imagine a promotion interviews with someone like Makhachev vs Rakhmonov. It will be like “I will win you” “ok, try”. The end

Nickal is a new face in the UFC but I think he hasn't fought someone by the likes of Khamzat yet he named Khamzat in an interview when Nickal won against Woodburn. But I suppose it's too cruel to kill his career this early, Dana has to make money yet.

That is interesting. Never heard of this guy. However, such pure kickboxers dont have huge future in mma, as their fighting style is to narrow, it has so much counters. I havent dont a research, but I believe guys with wrestling base were champions more times than pure strikers. It will be hard to make such statistics, as those wrestlers quickly adopt to striking and outstrike pure strikers. It is as if they got two maxed skills (like dual class in ad&d), while others have only one skill.  

That Yousri has already a spoiler mma record. No lt in ufc but already 5-3 with kinda no-name strikers. And already lost in uncle Dana series.

Guys dont forget to check exact starting time for this event, this is based in Paris, France in Europe, and that means much earlier start than usual.
Ciryl Gane has big advantage with his home crowd and this is perfect chance for him to return in winning ways after he lost from Jon Jones.
Gane has reach advantage, I think he is overall more complete fighter than Serghei Spivac, and I think odds on him are not bad at all.
Another fight I am really excited to watch is co-main event because of Rose Namajunas, but there are few other good fights to watch.

Yeah, this one could be interesting and Namajunas is potentially a good value bet (x2.40). In the past, her problem was that her performances were inconsistent, but she tended to do well against dangerous, high-ranked opponents and all her losses happened to not-very-highly-skilled rivals (Esparza, Kowalkiewicz).
Manon Fiorot is definitely dangerous, so Rose shouldn't have any problems with motivation. But moving up in a weight class is always an uncertainty.

If that's what it takes to get the UFC back to its roots then they should do it.  I don't really care about what happens before the fight.  What matters for me is the matches themselves should be bangers and I can drop a little bit of money in them.  I mean I find the pre fight stuff entertaining but it isn't the end all be all when I get into each event.  But that's just me.

I couldn't agree more. All his talk is just a hot air, but just by looking at him I have an impression of looking at already retired fighter, it's just the vibe he's sending out. It's like all the competiveness and drive are gone. Even before the injury he wasn't looking great in the 2nd fight with Poirier, and the level in UFC only keeps getting up. And, as someone mentioned, no fighter has ever returned from a broken leg injury to a previous level.
There's a big chance his next fight will be his last and I think he realises that.

She's a Thug. She had lived up to his nick many times. We'll find out if she can submit Fiorot. She isn't the favorite by the way so there is something we may have missed here, either her year of inactivity or she had an injury that's why she rested that long.

Meanwhile, Fiorot has an impressive record of 10-1. It tells a lot about her. I'm not a fan of either but Namajunas is famous for winning fights even when she's the underdog. Take for example her fight with Weili who she defeated twice.

Current McGregor reminds me of a story about the girls who shoutes “wolves” many times, but when the real wolves came, no one believed her. This is about Conor. He shouts that he will fight, then when he really fights, no one would be interesting in him. If we put aside his fame, are many of you interested to see him fighting? When was the last time his left hand shock the world? When was the last time he showed something impressive? Like combo, take down or escaped from something nasty?

She moved up a weight class, so will be fighting bigger opponent than ever before. There's also no reach advantage for Roe this time (I think), the fact she's fighting on the enemy's turf and that Fiorot has her momentum and is on the uptrend.
Over a year break is also a factor, but could be due to UFC being disappointed in absolute lack of action in her fight against Esparza, but could be due to mental attitude and just wanting to take a break.

Yeah, many fighters perform better as an underdogs and Rose is one of them. She also defeated Jedrzejczyk twice in a title bout and made it look easy.
I won't be betting any money, but hope she wins.

I didn't think Spivac would come this far in the rankings. A fighter who tries to finish the fight fast and can fully apply his strength to the other side is truly a finisher. One hit hitters came here by TKO without any effort. Now he will face heavyweight legend Gane for the title match. I think Gane will pull the match down and change the level, we'll see what kind of game plan he has, but if spivac can't finish it in the first seconds, he will get tired. Gane will have the upper hand in this match, but as I said he is a heavyweight, is totally lucky to get a punch for TKO.

Shavkat Rakhmonov rise was gradual unlike Khamzat Chimaev simply because he was not good in talking but he is an exceptional fighter with finishes in all his 17 bouts is more than enough to create the hype when he returns, pre fight showdown will be boring but in the cage he will change all that .

^ There are some reasons why I don't believe this is going to happen. First of all, Conor McGregor is the money fighte in UFC still. It does not matter if he fights good or bad. Irish people are going to still be to watch him fight. So if he was actually getting ready to fight, and if everything was okay, the USADA is probably not going to be a problem. At least as long as Connor McGregor does actually stay off the steroids that he is taking. But I can certainly feel that Dana White does not have as much love as he had for Conor McGregor now.
