Belal "I am next" Muhammad. Finally that kid gets a title fight I am happy for him more than for Chandler who is getting a juicy cheque soon. But I would not be happy if Belal wins lol That will be most boring title defences. If not he is super cautious and barely can do an early finish, then if he gets a belt, he will keep it forever and we get 25 min with UD in the end.

After all that sh*t talking about him, I want to see your face when Belal wins in a spectacular fashion by a brutal KO

Is anyone excited about tonight's UFC Event? Given it's just a Fight Night even and collides with the Fury Vs Usyk megafight, the UFC didn't bring in any high profile fighters. The only guy I'm familiar here is Barboza, who will be the underdog against Lerone Murphy. I've done some quick search on Murphy, he's undefeated (with one draw though), got 7 out of his 13 wins by KO, and the rest by decision. Very possible it'll be a 100% striking match, as both of them prefer stand up.
It's a big chance for Murpgy to possibly break into the top 15. And who knows, maybe if he wins and suffer no damage, they would put him on the UFC 304 card (main or prelim), given it's in Manchester, UK and that's where he's from.

Nothing much to learn for this event except Murphy has the cardio to go all 5 rounds, Kleydson Rodriguez is lower level than what I expected him to be and Magomedov also has the cardio to finish the whole 15 minutes.

Next event is UFC 302 set in a couple of weeks.  Can't wait...

^  I think it's in the realms of possibility that Belal could wrestle fck Edwards and hold him down, throwing bombs on him.  It's not gonna be a pretty fight but I think it could be a lot closer than anticipated.

Anyway we have good event coming in a couple of weeks.  Looking forward to the main event, the co main, Almeida vs Romanov, Almeida vs Kopylov and curious what we'll see from Dawson after the weird KO loss vs Bobby Green.

Belal vs Leon will likely be just jabs fight. Belal was outclassed in their first fight and cried after an eye poke.  He has been tweeting a lot like he has been an exciting KO artist actually when he hasn't done much, what did Strickland do to him, they've been beefing on Twitter.

I wouldn't mind seeing Belal be the champ for a while to pay respect to his "Remember the Name" alias. And that we could also see reshuffling in this division, maybe they'd give Rakhmonov someone from the top to fight with.

Yes, at the beginning of next month we will see the UFC 302 fight which will bring together great fighters and is the one that many people have been waiting for the most.
Islam Makhachev will fight Dustin Poirier and in this fight Islam Makhachev defends the UFC lightweight title he got after defeating Charles Oliveira and I sure that in this effort to defend the belt and title, Islam will definitely give his best fight.
Moreover, Islam Makhachev also has desire to move up and focus on welterweight and he is of course targeting all of this when he succeeds in beating Dustin Poirier at UFC 302, this will be very interesting fight.
Dustin Poirier is also not fighter who can be underestimated, we all know how he was when he fought with the UFC and in this fight, even though Islam Makhachev is the favorite, there will still be surprises that Dustin Poirier might give.

Dana should also put pressure on signing contracts, if they don't sign in 24 hours the ship will sail, and it goes to someone else and ranks down to 10. Though Sean is mentally ill, Sean just throwing jabs and all defense may still work against Costa. I can only see Sean catching the kick of Costa and then right straight.

"The trolling continues until performance improves" is a fair policy
I got the odds from Unibet, but they only have one type of bet for MMA fights, so can't bet on Belal winning by KO. Maybe other sites will offer more markets closer to the fight (if anyone is aware of such, please share).
If the odds for that were around x10, I might consider it. It's an MMA after all, miracles can happen.

Is it just me or does it seem that the Main Event will be a one-sided fight for Islam Makhachev to be the winner of this fight as good for Islam Makhachev, well, I don't really want to underestimate Dustin Poirier but this is what I am seeing may happen in their upcoming fight and we all know that Poirier has a good boxing combination but apparently, we can not say if he has good takedown defense as Porier has said that he has a belt in BJJ but I surely doubt if the level of his particular ground game could initially submit Makhachev.

While Sean Strickland to Paulo Costa is some kind of interesting sure these two will just run their mouth in the following press conference for sure and I am really excited to see who's great with their mouth but sure Paolo Costa has the power but for sure Strickland will have the advantage with the striking.

Paolo Costa is a Crypto Enthusiast! well that was great for sure he is the man who represents us as a community, but even though he is a Bitcoin holder I have never been a fan of Paolo Costa maybe change his career to be a celebrity and a full-time Bitcoin Enthusiast and stop his MMA career right now as I think he doesn't have a future or I never seeing him becoming a champion at all.

As I think Almeida is gonna win the match, I think it's gonna end via sub like most of his wins.  But we'll see...  Romanov could put anybody's lights out too.  Lol.  But yeah, my money is gonna be on Almeida.

I believe that at one time or another Makhachev will fall, and that time is coming. The other fighters already have enough content to see the way he fights and start strategizing. So it may not be today but soon he will lose

That's what everyone thinks, but it's not like Dustin will show up in there just to take a beating and get his cheque. He's got a really good wrestling sparring partner (Gamrot) and will definitely show up with a plan to keep the fight in stand-up or neutralise Islam's ground game, e.g., similar to how Volk did it in their first fight.
Islam grows more and more confident in his striking, so I won't be surprised if he's willing to trade shots with Dustin at the beginning, and there's when things can go wrong for him.

Nah, he was ready to fight but got injured, so can't blame him for that. And I blame the UFC for the fact that they allowed him to fight Stipe instead of Aspinall after his recovery.
He should be stripped if he refuses to fight Tom (or whoever will be holding the interim belt) after his fight with Stipe.
