Right now Mokaev is lowering his public rank and loosing his "cool" score with "Muhammad Mokaev Offers to Fight for Free to Rejoin UFC". Imho this not the right thing to do now. He openly offers Dana to wipe feet on himself. That is a huge fail and big no to do in business and negotiations. Now UFC can offer him to fight for food, while he can go to One FC or Rizin, return to bantamweight and join Bellator or as he is a resident of UK, he can join Cage Warriors.

He replied to PFL who doesn't want anything to do with him, he figured it was time to find another but he preferred to come back. I saw the tweet that he wants to fight Hunter Campell for free so he could rejoin UFC, it's pathetic but he admits they were negotiating so there's the proof. https://x.com/muhammadmokaev/status/1819608256085397646

Maybe other promotions will not be interested in him as well especially now that they know he is a pain in the ass to deal with. He is young, maybe a career change is the way to go.

Everyone knows that UFC dont like when fighters try to do something behind their back if that concerns money. If I was on Mokaev or his managers place, I would have contacted UFC and say that PFL is trying (or not trying, we dont know whole truth) to offer me a contract with good figures. Let their lawyers do their job and fight. Now Mokaev is trying to jump out of his pants to return to UFC. He will try to convince and tell UFC what they want to hear, but we dont know if that would be the truth. In theory, Mokaev was still on the contract (it has ended only after his last fight), but he was already having talks with PFL. Not the right thing to do imho.

Honestly I really regret what Mokaev's team did. I don't know where that crazy idea came from. Is it because Mokaev has an undefeated record and is being hyped that Mokaev's team is trying to get a new contract in UFC with a bigger price? IMO Mokaev is a great fighter but his current position is not enough to negotiate with uncle Dana. There are many other fighters with undefeated records. Even a UFC champion like Ngannou can't get a new contract with UFC (but it seems Ngannou is asking for a very big payday which makes Dana White angry). It's really unfortunate because Mokaev was once said to break Jones' record as the youngest UFC champion.

Yeah I think that's really cool. After beating "The Great" Topuria will fight the second king of the featherweight division. If EL Matador wins then he will be worthy of being ranked as the GOAT of featherweight. Gane is back after his loss to Jones. Has he fixed his weaknesses in the ground game? Another one is the return of Chimaev. I feel for Chimaev because his physical and health issues have kept him from performing at his best in the UFC. The Hype Train seems to be coming to an end.

They didn't have to know if the PFL offer was legit or not. They could've just said "xyx is what we are willing to offer to Mokeav and it's not negotiable. Take it or leave.". That's it.
Throwing a hissy fit over a manager's action and taking it out on a fighter does not sound professional. You can tell (by this one and other actions) that Dana was deepy hurt by losing Nganou to PFL and is massively overreacting.
I don't understand how a lot of people seem to be thinking that talking to different organisations when fighter's contract is about to come to an end is somehow unacceptable. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

It would be nothing wrong if you are a free agent. I will explain why it is unacceptable. UFC also spend time and money on promoting a fighter. They make plans, they make schedules for other fighters based on Mokaev potential contract in UFC. I mean how can you plan and run business, when you cant control and managed your fighters. I am sure they were planning to offer him a new contract, but he or his managers were acting behind their back to increase contracts benefits. I think if you go to your boss and blackmail him either he gives you a raise or you leave because other might possibly pay you more, he will point you at the door.

Lmao yup...  This is one instance that I won't get annoyed when the thread goes of the rails for a bit.    No one wants to see Tybura vs Spivak 2 for 5 rounds.  There's nothing at stake.  No title implications, no nothing.  And the PPV event after that is decent but all in all just ok.  Curious about DDP vs Adesanya tho.

Then we get a couple of Fight Night events then it's 306 in the LV Sphere.  The visuals in that thing is gonna ne goooood.

How do you like that? A tweet by Mokaev with a sign "Unemployed man in Dubai". I cant say that he is very disappointed with being off from UFC. Anyway, good luck to him.

I think I am going to watch just a review of next UFC event, but UFC 305 is full of nice fights. Basically I just want to see new (if he would be new) Izzy. He took 1 year off, enjoyed life. And he is 35. The moment when his career starts to go down is about to start.

Hehehehe there are articles that have mentioned Hunter Campbell is the real boss behind the UFC. This is not uncle Dana anymore. Uncle Dana is only the face of the UFC for public appearances. However, if Muhammad Mokaev is declaring a challenge to fight the real boss behind the UFC, this certainly makes it appear that Mokaev has also very quite certain that he cannot already return to the UFC. This is very headshaking decision for the UFC because Moakev is a good grappler. The boss Hunter Campbell should be more patient with these fighters, I reckon.

He has posted a picture in his twitter, that he has got new gloves. Not UFC gloves at all. So maybe lets try to guess what this is all about? He has signed with a new promotion and they have sent him new gloves? He simply has bought new gloves for training? Because he dont want to train in UFC gloves anymore (then what about his requests to get him back?). He just trolling us?

I have done a little search, and the gloves that are on the picture are manufactures by Top Ten, and it is said that they collaborate with Brave Combat Federation, a promotion where Mokaev fought before UFC.

Yes, I also think so if Bellator or PFL could be new destination for Mokaev to join and fight there after his departure from UFC, but there are also some reports that say ONE Championship is also worthy for Mokaev.
Honestly, he looks like he really can't accept all these decisions because his desire is to become UFC champion, there is great hope said by Mokaev if he really wants to be able to get another contract with UFC.
It just that based on what Dana mentioned, also concluded that Mokaev is unlikely to be able to return to UFC in the near future even though he is still very young, I actually think that Mokaev might have to repeat everything from the bottom.
Indeed, no one knows what the future will be like, but the chances of returning still look quite small for the near future.

Most of his fights in the UFC weren't really spectacularly good for him to act that way.  Some of them, he lost the first couple of rounds.  And his win vs Kape wasn't worthy to put him first in line for the title.  Pantoja would beat the sht out of him in there.

But yeah, he needs more experience on the regionals and get some good wins there.  We'll prolly see him in the UFC in a year or so.

One last thing about Mokaev. Just my observation. Even though he had 7-0 in UFC, 3 wins were by decision. The majority of those who watch UFC are default people who understand only knockout, tko or submission. All that control, positioning, escaping from sub, opponent swipes - few understand that. (Btw, Mokaev actually was bad at control, a lot of times opponents escaped his two leg take downs). Impressive record, but average performance.

We all know that UFC is entertainment and business first, and competition (sadly) comes on second place. Is Mokaev really that entertaining to watch? What audience can he bring? All those Muslim fans would go for Makhachev, Chimaev, Aliskerov, Belal (lol), Ankalaev. Mokaev fights from UK. Did many UK fans cheer for him? When they have Aspinal and Edwards. If Mokaev was the first or only Dagi there, it would be different. Dana and UFC would close their eyes on his behavior. But he is a problem maker, while is still raw fighter (but promissing), that cant really bring much fans to UFC.

^  And to think the UFC was grooming him to be a top prospect and giving him favorable match ups.  One of them was Malcom Gordon who isn't really that good but Gordon got two rounds out of him.  If Gordon held on, he would've won the match.

But yeah, here are the results.  Watched a few matches and didn't finish the event as I was still feeling sick.  What I learned from this event was Jhonata Diniz could climb the rankings at HW.  He's decent.
