15% less power than X11. Similar hash speed to X13 (as far as I judge from other rig names).

I'd like to introduce a new and improved version of my comparison charts:

http://cryp.today/ (yes, that's a real URL)

The concept remains the same - I collect payout data from various pools and other services that I'm using and I create charts from it. Hosting charts on their own site as opposed to a static image and/or Google Spreadsheet will make them more flexible/customizable and will save me some time as the spreadsheet has grown to an unmanageable size. The site is still under development but I will make sure to update the data every day and will post a static image to this thread as usual.

Quick overview of what's new and what remains the same:

  • I'm using Google Charts API so the new charts will have similar look and feel as the old ones.
  • Default chart shows top 8 (best performing) services.
  • "Shortcuts" menu on the left side allows to choose other sets of services, such as Scrypt only for ASICs.
  • "All pools/services" has the full list of services that I'm currently tracking and you can choose any subset to display on the chart.
  • "Chart type" provides a choice of a daily chart (default), a 10-day average, or a 5-day moving average - the three chart types I posted in this thread every day.
  • "Data in other formats" allows to export the chart in PNG format, or export all data including services I'm not tracking anymore in JSON (compatible with Google API) or CSV (can be opened in spreadsheet software) format.
  • Date slider control at the bottom of the chart can be used to view any time period since I started collecting this data in March 2014.
  • Yellow area on the chart is LTC theoretical ("ideal") profitability.
  • I have added a few new services - WafflePool N/X11/X13, MiningRigRentals X11/X13.

TODOs in no particular order:
  • Option to save/bookmark custom chart settings.
  • Static colors to each service - now colors change every time you add/remove a line.
  • "Revenue per kWh" charts - you'll notice there is already a dummy menu item for that.
  • New algos (e.g. X15) and/or multi-algo benchmarks, depending on how these technologies evolve.
  • Feedback/contact/suggestion/pool voting option.
  • Near-real-time data from services that provide such data (e.g. current lowest rig prices from rig rental sites).

Feel free to report any bugs, suggestions, etc. here in the thread or via PM.

Wow! This is a huge improvement! Thanks for pulling this together.

Looks great. Easy to use. Very professional.

With some ads this looks like this could turn into a revenue generator for you, which I applaud. Good for you, and good for us if it helps keep your service running.

1320W total on 2 rigs each with 4 Gigabyte r9 280X cards. Hash speed is around 4.55 for each card. (Probably my local issue, but I have to decrease "GPU engine" on ONE card from 1150 to 1120 to keep all 4 cards alive.) "GPU memory" is 1500. In both rigs.
Not that aggressive on temperature too.

Please be aware that MRR is reporting cheapest rent prices on its opening page from all rigs including rented ones. This is somewhat confusing as the given rig may be tied up in some long rent and the available cheapest rent price is then basically different.

Also, you don't seem to include your donation addresses. You may get bored ... Wink

Good point. I'm thinking about pulling the prices from each algo page, which have the available rigs at the top. I'm still trying to decide if I want just the top one or an average of first 3-5 perhaps.

Lack of donation address might have something to do with that gaudy "alpha version" warning Smiley - need to fix up a few things first.

It would be great if the new site would remember previously selected options. You could do that through cookies. Or maybe that's what the Settings tab will be used for?

Also, I hate to say it, but you should consider adding SHA256. I know that originally your data was for Scrypt, but that's expanded to most altcoin algorithms, as well as rentals. Plus you mentioned previously that Bitcoin is the winner. Why not represent SHA256 multipools and rentals? Lastly, adding SHA256 would make you competitive algorithm-wise with poolpicker. Maybe that's not that important now, but it could be if you're interested in commercializing your site.

Note that the new Antminer S3 is on the razor's edge of a potential ROI, even with their batch 3. That's faint praise, but probably the closest you can find to profitable SHA256 hardware nowadays.

Charts have been updated for today. As announced above there are some significant changes - a more customizable/interactive version is now available on its own website, new algos/services have been added, etc.

OOOH Nice! Been waiting for this like forever, using this thread as a reference in the meantime Cheesy I'm making this profit calc for myself, and sharing it with everyone else. It also includes multipools, but that was done by PoolPicker which collects the history of BTC/(mh/s) from the pools themselves, which isn't always accurate. Some are honest, many aren't.

Is it OK for you if I'd use your JSON data for my app?

But I'm a bit  flabbergasted (oh man, I love that word) by the data in it Cheesy Is it possible to do something like PoolPicker already does with their API?
ATM it would require a lot of loops to even simply parse that data Wink But I can work around it if necessary, I already started a bit Cheesy

So, keep up the good work! Wink Honesty in crypto is something we need a bit more of Smiley

Feel free to use the data any way you see fit. A reference or link to my site would be nice but not required.

As for the JSON format, it's a variation of Google DataTable format as described here:

https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/reference#dataparam

(except I'm not using the "f" values, only "v").

Each row is one day. Each column is a pool/service, plus the date in the first column. I think you can pick out any data from it fairly easily, but if you are running into any specific issues let me know here or via PM and I'll see what I can do.

Thank you for your support.

Recently LeaseRig removed public rent history quite understandably. That was just too much data to give away.
But "Last rent price" is still available as from MRR too. Not from BR.
So, I would say your "live" rent prices would be awesome to include:
Cheapest available, cheapest rented, last rent price.

At least this was in my head when dreaming of doing www.pickarig.comSmiley
(Not to mention the feature for providers to be able to put in your hash rate and power data for each algo and hence getting a live indication what is the best to do with your GPU rig atm. I would pay a one time fee for this service if it works correctly.)

I'm planning to remove Coinshift and replace it with CoinKing or MiningRigRentals. Feel free to let me know if you prefer one or the other or something else entirely (it has to be Scrypt though - it's an ASIC rig).

I'd like to see CoinKing please.

Full disclosure that I've tried to mine with them a couple of times based on their advertised performance. But both times I ran into server side issues that resulted in huge reject rates. I came to the conclusion that their services were not ready for prime time and haven't been back.

I think that based on their advertised performance, CoinKing has real potential. Their web interface is also very nice, and they have flexible payout options.

Maybe if you add them to your list, they will have a real incentive to demonstrate that they are a profitable option.
