IEO, ICO or even STO...these can be good platforms for crowdfunding but when human nature gets in the way things can spiral and can result into disaster and misery especially on the part of the investors. Just like in 2017, there is a growing interest with IEO with some projects selling like hotcakes. Since the crowdfunding is done in an exchange, good projects can receive good reception and one can easily trade the tokens or coins in the same exchange. Will there be a frenzy soon for IEO? True regarding Matic, and yes I think Harmony will come out as a 3-4x and/or perform well etc, but I don't think this reflects the IEO market at all. These are just Binance IEOs, others perform well, others don't. It's still very similar to ICO investing late 2018 when projects can lose a lot of value. I'm more talking about the smaller exchange IEOs, whereby there are dozens, most of which appear to be useless projects. If the IEO is on a reputable high-volume exchange however, then yes, it looks much more attractive to invest.

Not all IEOs are the same. IEO are the name give to ICO that are hosted in an exchange.
Not all Exchanges are same likewise the process and criterion of listing a token sell as IEO is different.
Some of well established exchanges has a dedicated team that researches and selects best of the projects that have applied for the IEO while many others just lets in for a fee.

Do you aware about that recently? Speculators are betting on the first waves and they don't care about the long term perspective from the platform as long as they can get decent return and iit's more than enough.

All these investments in the name of new projects are just silly and should stop, there is no guarantee that they will fulfill the task nor they will take any effort after collecting the funds, people are seeing this as a means to make money in a short period of time and get out, initially you might get the desired profits but later on you will be a back holder if you keep on holding longer or end up in a loss. People will always find a way to make money by attracting investors, we have seen the ICO trend earlier and i cannot find many projects that lasted. If your speculation is right, then you will be rewarded great. It is no gambling but more like a calculated/measured amount of risk. There are stupid ideas and project at first but became the talk of the tech world years later. I have already participated in two IEOs but to my disappointment. I couldn't buy the coin and the exchange net I've tokens dumped on me, making me loose well over 200 usd. Harmony IEO on Binance looks appealing but it's another risk I will avoid.

as some new rules even to enter the Exchanges, but it is necessary to emphasize that now investors have much more
confidence in the projects, the IEO have more confidence supplied.

Initial Exchange Offering is the new bandwagon virtually all projects are jumping on thereby making it increasingly popular, as the days goes on. However, aside Binance, Binance, bitforex and probably Probit Exchange, I think other exchanges are just inflating the funds generated by projects on their launchpad thereby deceiving investors as well as future projects which might be considering doing IEO with them.

I think you can look for it in binance or bittrex, the exchange has a good bunch of IEOs. I usually only use these two exchanges to invest in the IEO.

I think so. In my opinion, participating in an IEO is more stable than joining in an ICO. There are still scammers but I think its less compared to ICOs. Even though its safer joining IEO, it is still very risky. You still have to be careful and do your own research. Not all IEOs are the same. IEO are the name give to ICO that are hosted in an exchange.
Not all Exchanges are same likewise the process and criterion of listing a token sell as IEO is different.
Some of well established exchanges has a dedicated team that researches and selects best of the projects that have applied for the IEO while many others just lets in for a fee.

Exactly my thought on the current IEOs. Exchanges' approach to this form of fundraising is different from each other. While only few reputable exchanges dedicate their full resources to selecting a great project, others do so just to follow the crowd and make money for themselves. IEO is good, but exchanges need to do better in offering their users juicy projects.

I have participated in IEO's and they are indeed a hot trend now since it provides liquidity and provides the assurance that us, investors needed. No one wants to get scammed and that's why we're now looking at IEO instead of ICO's which has scammed so many people.
