I have not seen a breakdown for the digits and numbers only the totals. I've also not seen any for sale yet so I'm not sure on that either.

Does anyone have such a thing like there was for CS 1.0?

this has a reason. since 3.0 (starting with the whale) the color is assigned randomly by waking up the rhino/cat. so though it's already known how many 5 and 6 digits stamps are out there and the respective codes (lower/uppercase, numbers, etc), no one knows how many of each color + type until all stamps have been awaken. and this might take years.

yep you're absolutely right but I was thinking there was always some method to estimate/calculate some of these stats...  since they have same numbers emitted (100K piece both emission 3.0 and 3.1) it should be the same "rarity" also for that emission? or it's just a speculation/guessing game?

it's a bit of both:

on the other hand, we do not know which of the colors will be allocated to the 5- and 6-digit stamps. allocation randomly during wakening
what I couldn't find out yet are the figures how many 5-/6-digits are out there. but I think the last editions it was something about a 1:7 ratio.

wow! A lucky emission! this is really awesome for all collectors of stamps, both crypto and "classic" stamps!

WHY? Because it's very hard see something "new" on that field! (everywhere are used Tplabels and most of postage are without any trace of stamps )

BTW, anyone has a FDC? (first day cover)? or any swiss stamps "used" also "not philatelic" purpose? = real usage/real shipment?
anyone has identified a variety or printing error?

I am new to the forum. I just got myself 3 crypto stamps 3.1 from Austrian Post (Rhino and Cat). I was wondering what is the correct way to collect this kind of stamps. I would say it depends on your intent in collecting - if you are collecting with the intent on flipping later down the road for a hopeful profit, I would say do not open it. If you are truly collecting to keep - you may want to open it to determine it's color.

I am sure lots will have other ideas/input as well.

I don't think there are stupids questions while collecting.
Yes it is just an hobby but you're investing your time, passion, even money!
I will not focus too much in opinion of other collector. However each one of us have an interest on collection.
Example
Perfins have been considered as damaged stamps for decades... now some stamps or postal history are really rare (and highly valuable).

I have opened all my 3.1 crypto stamps [CS] the physicals, real stamps.
I haven't checked again but if available I will take also some "on chain" stamps like 3.0 CS... I have been lucky enough to find colors and some rare combinations.

Personally the idea that you need to "open" before get color or details it has been REALLY funny experience (at least to me)! it's like a "scratch card" more than a game. It reminds me "filigrana" of italian stamps.
Example:
You need to check carefully back of each stamp since it's full of surprises (and some cases are very rare and highly value stamps) due the watermark you can find.
Some stamps "no value" are literally valued also x100 or x1000 it depends just a simple watermark.
Do you know "Cavallino Ruota?" 1500 euro
