I'm guessing ipoMiner still hasn't been paid from LTCGear for 12/18...  Has anyone else seen 12/18 payouts in their HashX account?

I'm aware this is due to LTCGear going a bit shifty, not ipoMiner, but just wondering if I'm missing a thread or any info.

I have been making the same assumption but the website has not been updated to reflect that. Would be nice to hear for sure.

That's correct. LTCGear has not paid us for 12/18 yet, which is what's reflected on the site news. The last update there, from 12/20, is still the most recent/accurate: "Dec 20 11:30 PM We're waiting on the cloud mining provider to issue payouts for the December 18 payout. We'll processs and send HashX payouts out as soon as they are received."

There's no additional information on the ipoMiner/HashX end - we still haven't received payouts from LTCGear, and they'll be processed as soon as possible when they are received.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Anyone know what is going on with ipoMiner? Tried to log into my account today and the site is just . . . gone.
I tried waiting 12 hours to see if it was just a glitch or down for maintenance but  its been nearly a full day now and site is still just not there.
If anyone has any info on what happened to them please post. (yes I checked their twitter, reddit etc -- noting)

If you are having trouble accessing the site, check that you aren't using an old/cached DNS resolution. There were some DDoS attacks against the site yesterday and some changes were made to mitigate them. Nothing to be worried about on our end - just a bit of an inconvenience.

Feel free to send me a PM if you refresh your cache and still see issues. Its always possible that something isn't working properly for someone, but I haven't seen any issues.

Been getting this message all day again.

Unable to connect

Pale Moon can't establish a connection to the server at www.ipominer.com.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Pale Moon is permitted to access the Web.

in Chrome:

This webpage is not available

ReloadDetails

I tried other browsers, clearing cache even other computers. It was like this all day yesterday as well but came up and worked fine for a few hours last night.
Is the site front end down for maintanance?

EDIT:
OK, this is REALLY STRANGE. I couldn't connect to the site and after running diagnostics it shows that the site is rejecting the connection. I asked my neighbor to try connecting and he gets the same thing so I called my brother in New Jersey and he has no problems getting to the site. Is it possible that they blocked out all connections from my area code or IP block after the DDOS problems? I use Verizon FIOS out of NYC.

I guess my next step is to try a VPN out of a server in NJ and see if I can connect that way.

EDIT2:
OK, this may drive me nuts but I will figure it out. Connecting through a VPN works just fine, site is up and no problems. I just can't connect directly for some reason.

It seems like some ISPs are using an old cache of the name server records at the domain-level, more than 24 hours after the update, oddly. I just tested on a Verizon connection and saw that same behavior, just now. As a stop-gap measure, I've re-enabled the site on the old proxy IP until the DNS propagation finishes.

Thanks.
I really just wanted to make sure I hadn't lost my mind there for a while.
Was just very strange but the ISP update lag makes perfect sense.

ViaCoin withdrawals have been enabled again, after finally finishing an audit of balances for it after the fork from 12/26. Sorry for the delay - auditing is never a quick process, and the holidays delayed things even more.

UIS and VIA merge mining would be really cool. Please consider adding it.

Merged mining with VIA was added today Smiley

UIS may be more difficult to implement since it's the first merged coin that uses X11, but I'm looking into it.

Just a heads up, DarkCoin's network seems to be having some trouble after the recent v11 update, so I've disabled switching to it on the X11 multiport until things improve.

Do you have a direct port for POT? I only see DGC, QTL, GUA and some inactive coins on the frontpage.

No, I can add a port for POT though and I'll update this when it's live.
