It will be interesting to watch the return game and the new encounter between Messi and Real Madrid. But I think PSG will go through to the quarterfinals. Real Madrid has nothing to prove, the have been the better team for a very long time now and have won it all. If PSG was to win them in the second leg and progress to the next stage;f the tournament, it won't be a surprise as that's what we all are expecting. Will Real Madrid put up a fight, yes of course but that doesn't mean they'll be able to stop PSG from progressing. This PSG team has it all to win the champions league. I really don't think that only one goal advantage is going to be enough for PSG to have a safe position in the second leg, and I absolutely believe that Real Madrid is going to try their best to have a result in their favor. I know that PSG is a strong team and the way they scored in the first leg seemed like they were a great team with great chemistry between the players. But that is not exactly the case in my opinion and in the second leg Real Madrid is going to exploit their weakness thoroughly.

Of course they do, at least if we look at the individual talent in their team, they were not so brilliant during the group stages as they struggled to blend together as a team and that resulted in a couple of poor performances, but in the RO16 first leg against Madrid a few days ago i must say i was really impressed, and yes they should have won by more than one goal, they controlled the game from start to finish and restricted Real Madrid from really causing any problems, i am pretty sure they will go through to the QF, but i do not think they will win the CL.

Having said that, my favorites for the CL this season remains Manchester City and Bayern Munich, i feel either of them is going to go all the way this season.

I have started waiting for especially the Atletico Madrid - Manchester United game on the coming week. Because these teams are very similar to each other these days. Both of them are in an unreliable situation. But if we compare the performances in the Champions League so far, Manchester United impressed me more. Atletico Madrid are just trying to give importance to defense first. And this doesn't work all the time of course. And Manchester United have a very strong attacking line now. Atletico Madrid can have serious problems on defending them. Ronaldo's performance will be crucial for the team.

I personally will tend to be on the side of United at this time because I think Atletico now really have to make something new in their strategy.
Their performance decline is more drastic compared to the current MU.

Real Madrid will perform better in the second leg than they did in the first for sure, that is what they have been about in this competition. Over the years there have been times where Real Madrid will loose the first leg and come back to win the second leg to qualify. I guess they are going to manage their next two CL games relatively solidly, but afterwards when they are going to face one of the heavy weights I won't be so optimistic for them anymore. Sure as we have seen in the league even Manchester City can drop a game at home against Tottenham, but in two games I would say that City almost always beats Chelsea considering their current performances.

Biggest game to watch will be Real vs PSG. As there is now no rule with goals scored away counting double, this is going to be a hell of a close game.

I am really looking forward to the match between Benfica and Ajax next Tuesday. I have also looked at the odds on the betting sites and it seems that both teams are evenly matched, but that is mainly due to the fact that Benfica plays at home. Thomas Tuchel is a smart coach and I am sure he knows what to do to advance to the next round of the champions league. The champions league is as important as the EFL cup, so first thing first.
Dealing with Lille should be the first battle to worry about before the Liverpool game. Chelsea are currently in a good form and Lille are the opposite of that right now, so I am sure this encounter shouldn’t be an issue for Chelsea to overcome.

I think Chelsea will win against Lille in their match this is because Lille is in poor form so far this season having played 25games with 36 points, and they occupy 11th position in their league while Chelsea is 3rd in their league having played 25matches also with 50 points. I see nothing stopping Chelsea from beating them in the first leg of the champions league encounter in Stamford Bridge.
