There is not much time left for the Chelsea - Lille and Villarreal - Juventus games today. It is good to have the Champions League matchups back again this week but this time there are not very huge games. Chelsea are the favourite by far against Lille today and we can understand it clearly from the odds also. I expect nothing different than a very comfortable win for Chelsea here. And when it comes to the other game, I'm favouring Juventus in this. Maybe it is going to be very hard to win but even a draw would be enough for them.

Looking forward to the start of the games, but actually already a little disappointed. For some reason, at the moment I want to see decisive final games when there is no "reserve" match ahead and the teams play without having a "reserve" option in mind. Still, the Champions League infuriates that the number of real death matches is too small compared to the total number of matches.

Half an hour to go. Chelsea players must be dying for destroying Lille home. And I'm very sure that they will do so. Lille just can't resist them properly by their performance in this season. But it was still a good achievement for them to get past the group stage although they aren't having a good season. And Villarreal are playing home against Juventus which seems to be a very competitive game. I don't think Juventus will win here. Villarreal would do their best to win but I expect a draw.

The performances of both Chelsea and Lille are now irregular. However, the Chelsea team seems to be stronger in this match. I don't think Lille are strong enough to stop Chelsea in this game. I think Chelsea will win this match by more than 2 goals and no draw for this match. I considered Lille's poor form in the domestic league at the moment where they haven't done well so far before making a statement. Chelsea are superior to Lille so I hope Lille can lose today.

Villareal and Juventus in my opinion are much more interesting to watch because these two teams look quite balanced so far. The performances of both are equally good in their respective domestic leagues so we can expect good games from them. I suspect this match will end in a 1-1 or 2-2 draw.

My guess in this match is that if Villarreal can score first then they will win. Because I have watched Villarreal's last few matches. They like to play attacking too much. And so if Villarreal can score today's first goal then they will play defensively. And playing Villarreal defensively, Juventus will have a lot of problems to score. Because one of the main strikers of the team Dybala is not in the squad.

The level in this match between Villareal and Juventus is very close. I don't think we can point to a clear favorite, which is the case with Chelsea's game. My prediction is that Chelsea will win very easily, but often start late. At Villareal - Juventus I will keep it on a draw (1-1) for the time being. It's more than wild, I don't think that Lille has any chances even for a draw, Chealse is playing top football, they are better in all positions... if Lille can do something that is to score at least one goal!
Brave bet on Villarreal... definitely an interesting game, but I will give advantage to Juve, Vlahovic needs to prove himself! I have a bet both teams to score for this game, I guess Villarreal can surprise and win, Juve can win as well, so I decided to play on goals!

Can we now assume that this will be an open competition? I never taught some like this will happen. I had already predicted the match 10mins draw. I was so disappointed to see a very fast goal within 1 minute. I know very well that Villarreal will pay for this early expensive mistake. They may not have the chance to draw the match this night. And bad for them, it is their home.

Both matches start in amazing way with Juventus having very early lead and then Chelsea also done same even Villareal is having very good control on ball and match but right now they are still struggling for their first goal which is very frustrating for them because they are very good and have fair chance for having good result at home, but Juventus is playing very good soccer which is giving indication how strong they are now after worst ever start of season.

 Chelsea were hot favourite for this match and their start was also not bad at all, but we can expect some strong resistance from Lille because their record is also very good in European competitions, and we have a good chance from them to do something difference in this match against Chelsea.

Fast and furious start from Chelsea and a nice goal from Havertz. The player is becoming more and more important for Chelsea as he scores the important goals.
Lille has been a disappointment so far in this match. I don't follow the French league, but the current bad place in the table is also reflected in the performance of this CL game.
