I think that Bayern Munich and Liverpool are already one of the qualifiers for the quarter finals now. I remember that Bayern Munich had a really big difficulty in getting a draw against Salzburg in the first leg. But this shouldn't be misleading at the same time. Because there is a huge power difference between these teams. And in Allianz Arena, I'm sure that Bayern Munich will prove my words right. And Liverpool already sealed the deal in Giuseppe Meazza by 2-0. There is no way they are losing in Anfield.

The three PL teams managed to win quite convincingly in the first leg of the champions league, I think both teams (Inter Milan and Lille) still have a small chance of qualifying, I think maybe Intermilan and Lille will be able to surprise us all and maybe later They will make a comeback in the 2nd leg match, in my opinion the only PL team that can be certain that they have already qualified is Manchester City at this time, because it seems impossible for sporting to score 6-0   to Manchester City goal in the second leg.

This is what I have been thinking as well, it is going to be very difficult for Inter to win the game against Liverpool with such a disadvantage, does not it makes more sense for them to just concentrate on the their league and just accept they will not win the champions during this year? They do not have to make it as obvious, for example they could begin the game with their starters but if during the first 30 minutes they do not score they could begin to rest their stars, and what if they happen to score during those 30 minutes? Then obviously under those circumstances they could actually try to qualify.

yes I agree with you about sporting Lisbon it is impossible to turn things around with Manchester city. but with Manchester City winning the Champions League I think it's too early to talk about it, maybe Manchester city can be so dominant in their domestic league, but I think they are very difficult to get to the Champions Final even to become Champions I think it's difficult, the reason I was in Manchester City don't have the mentality to win the Champions League.

After end of first 1st phase of this knock out stage three English clubs are in very good position for going into quarter-final and Manchester United is also having some fair chance for qualifying because they are currently doing some better in Champions League instead of Premier League and this is good plus point for them with first league end in draw and both teams score 1 - 1 which is not bad for them now they need to do play with some better strategy.

The second leg of the Champions League is now only a few days away but in my opinion there are already several teams that are certain to qualify now like Chelsea, Liverpool and City.

Liverpool can now be said to be the complete package on all fronts. Their defenders and midfielders are very strong. The forwards shouldn't be asked how strong they are either.

This match will certainly be favored by Liverpool because it will be very difficult for Inter to beat a Liverpool team who are currently in their best form, there is nothing Inter can do more to stop Liverpool than to equalize because Inter must score three goals against Liverpool without replying if want to come out victorious and it certainly doesn't happen easily unless Liverpool underestimate the Inter team during the game.

With current form in domestic leagues am very sure that real Madrid will qualify on aggregate in the second leg against Paris Saint Germain, real Madrid have good players that can turn this tier around, because Paris Saint Germain are performing very poorly this season,I sometimes wonder why big clubs are still going after Mauricio Pochetino, you can't have Messi Neymar and Mbappe and still be performing badly is not normal.

The first leg of the former matchup ended in a draw by 1-1. And Salzburg would have even won that game too. I didn't like Bayern Munich's performance at all but I don't expect it to affect their performance in the second leg badly either. I think Bayern Munich will crush Salzburg in this game. And when it comes to the latter, Liverpool are already in a comfortable situation as they won the first leg by 2-0. It was not easy though but the result was the most important point. I think they will win here again and finish this.
