Yes it is true that this goal will certainly be a moment to be remembered by villareal, moreover that goal at the same time can prevent them from losing in the first leg of the last 16 of the champions league, I think although it is a bit difficult, but villareal has a great opportunity to make juventus stop in the champions league in the second leg later, the second leg will be played at Juventus headquarters and I think Villareal should be able to play perfectly like in the 1st leg today.

Juventus was very poor and it's disappointing seeing them playing this way,they are the Italian giant the should be demolishing teams like Villarreal in the champions League,I think they have to strengthen their squad in the summer,they are very weak in the midfield department,they need quality in that position and also in attack, Vlahovic is a good signing but they need more, the defence is okay, I heard they are interested in autaro Martinez at inter Milan, I really think is the sort of player they need but I doubt if inter Milan will sale, because they are direct rivals for the title.

I don't think there was anything wrong with Juventus' match in the first leg and their performance was quite good even though they failed to maintain their lead because the goals were matched.
Don't underestimate Villaerreal they are also one of the teams that are indeed quite strong in La Liga and the movement of their players sometimes makes it difficult for the top teams in La Liga.
I think that in this first leg, Juventus is actually very good, although there are still some things that need to be improved in their squad

Atletico Madrid have been extremely inconsistent this season. The same applies to Manchester United. But Manchester united have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks while Atletico Madrid have lost four of their last seven matches across all competitions. This could be a tightly contested affair between the two sides as the result could mean a lot to either team. We expect Atletico Madrid to sit back and hit Manchester United on the counter since they are familiar with Manchester United's defensive frailties. But I believe that both clubs are in a similar vein of underwhelming form  ahead of their clash in the Champions League and there should be goals in this one.

I have an optimistic bet on Ajax, halftime/fulltime Ajax Amsterdam/Ajax Amsterdam at 2.43! Ajax is like a machine, they are winning from week to week, 6 wins in CL, and I don't think they will stop here!

I also feel they are strong favorites tonight, they have scored 70 goals in Eredivisie and conceded only 5 times in 20+ games.

However - when they did concede, they usually lost the game. They have +65 goal difference in 23 games but have lost 3 and drawn 2 of them - meaning that they don't know how to turn things around when it doesn't go their way. Benfica is not the team it was but still finished 2nd in the group with PSG and Barcelona, meaning that they won't be pushed over easily. Still, I feel your Ajax bet has decent value.

I know it's an optimistic bet, Benfica is not a team we should underestimate, and they are playing at home! I just think that Ajax will continue with their aggressive style from the first minutes, and if they score some goal in the early game they will lead the game till the end and they will win! But as you say, if things don't go that way, if Benfica surprise, which may happen with some counter-attack, Ajax will not be able to turn the game in their favor!

These assumptions are confirmed by the quotes of the bookmakers - for the match Atlético - Manchester United they give a total over 2.28, and for the match Benfica - Ajax 1.73. But as you correctly noted, Atlético plays badly in defense, plus I would add that Manchester United also regularly gives out bad matches (or they can concede 2 goals in 70 seconds like from Leeds) so there will probably be a lot of goals in this pair too.

I believe that United has the momentum and that is why they may end up winning. I believe that they are actually quite close teams in level but the fact that they are doing better these weeks could be a reason for them to actually end up winning.

The smallest difference between the teams could be destroyed by just having "it was their day" type of situation. Sometimes some teams have a great day and end up getting a great result. Even worse teams could beat better teams overall, that way ended up getting higher and higher. This doesn't mean that they will win, but at the end of the day they have a better momentum and that is why I will wager on them.

I agree if I choose a draw, considering that both teams are still in the stage of wanting to knock each other out and their performance is almost stable. So if you are betting on UCL between Manchester United or choosing Atletico Madrid, I agree that Draw is probably more appropriate for now. If there is another alternative, perhaps a little consideration that Atletico Madrid could have outperformed the game than Manchester United's relatively stagnant performance.

Honestly both team to score will be a sure bet in Ajax vs Benfica match,  both team will play an attacking football thus create making scoring chances for both team, however Atletico Madrid vs Man Utd match is very a dicey and unpredictable game considering the two team inconsistency in their respective league, the match can be won by either of team irrespective of the team playing at home, some soccer pundits tipped Man Utd to win based on the fact that historically Ronaldo has a good records of scoring Atletico Madrid, however I disagree with that assertion.

Right? I think he's blunt enough to be a scary player. Because throughout the game he is no longer as fresh as before. Diego Simeone will implement a strategy that will kill Ronaldo, even though he (Ronaldo) is not as young and aggressive as when he played for Real Madrid. But I'm sure Diego Simeone will anticipate this so as not to be missed by Ronaldo for the umpteenth time.

Juventus defended very well for most parts of the game. They conceded a goal after they believed that Vlahovic was fouled while losing possession and instead of continuing to play, they froze and expected to hear the referees whistle. Villareal dominated possession and played with great concentration in the match. It has forced Juventus to drop further into the defensive area as Vallareal built up a good attack during the game but in the end I really think that it wasn't the result that many expected as Juventus looked stronger than Villareal on paper.

For today Atletico Madrid vs Manchester United is the most interesting match in my opinion. These two teams have not been very consistent so far but Manchester United have performed well in the last few match. There is a possibility that Manchester United will win this match and Ronaldo will be the deciding factor that could throw Atletico Madrid's defense into disarray. I hope all Premier League teams qualify for the next round and there is good hope to see Manchester United there as well as Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.
