It looks like we'll likely go into extra time or even penalty in the super cup final. Bayern has been real solid but they still lack the services of Thiago in the midfield. Sevilla on the other hand has been resilient throughout the game and has been hell bent on keeping Bayern away from scoring. I didn't think Sevilla would last this long against  Bayern but as they say, nothing is impossible in football.  That disallowed goal should've been reviewed too!

Oops, Bayern just messed up a lot of bet slips with that draw at full time.

I'm still surprised how Sevilla managed to hold this much terrifying team down to 90 minutes and is now going into extra time which gives them a 50-50 chance to the cup. It would be very challenging for other clubs that wasn't able to keep a decent score line against Bayern Munich to have Sevilla lift the trophy.

They obviously did. A lot of persons would have been expecting the trendy score line as with Bayern Munich now and perhaps for Bayern to lift the cup but, Sevilla wasn't bent on losing either.

Bayern was a better team throughout most of the match but Sevilla had some great chances and could have also won this one. I lost my multi on this game (had both to score & Bayern win) but I am quite ok with it since the game was very good and it was worth to pay that much to watch it with extra incentive.

Big congratulations to the Bayern Munich team for winning the UEFA Super Cup 🏆 in addition to the Champions League trophy they won last month.  Congrats to Sevilla as well as well even though they came out unlucky in the tie. They shown how great of a team they are. A beauty to watch throughout the game.  Seeing Bayern winning the Super cup just made me recall when my club, Liverpool won it  last year. How time flies!

Yes. Bayern may have won but I'm sure they messed up a lot of bet slips (mine included). I had every other game right. I expected Bayern to win with a good goal margin but Sevilla put up a good fight (something Barcelona couldn't do).

They have to win it all when they still can because such chances come once in a while.
Sevilla had some nice opportunities but Neuer one again was on top of his game. Sevilla are also very unlucky when it comes to the European Super Cup. They now have 5 defeats. The worst in the competition

They suprised me as well. I expected that the game would be more easier for them. If some changes went in the goal it would have been easier for them.

I wonder if Bayern will win everything this season. If nothing unusual they will even win the CL I think

I think they are the team in the top form but you need to be persistent to it.Bayern is usually constant in the Bundesliga but the Champions League is different.I think teams like Real Madrid,Barcelona,Psg,Juventus and of course the Premier League teams will make sure we have real good competititon and I think it will be very difficult for Bayern to win the Champions again this season.

They win, congratulations.  In any case I don't like their style of play, I don't enjoy it.
I like the style of the Spanish team, lots of entertainment and therefore fun for those who follow the game (like old barcellona)

Bayern was better throughout the game and deserves the trophy. Sevilla was decent and played to their strengths, but it was always about Bayern.

Sane will fit perfectly into their style of play, that is already evident. It is also clear to see they will miss Thiago, they had space to exploit yesterday but couldn't find these passes often enough.
Kimmich is a great player and he will do well there, him and Goretzka will make a good partnership but they will miss some of the creativity they had last season.

The  'old' Barcelona was great with their tiki taka football. But the last years the aren't that great anymore. Messi is getting older and the basis around him is now gone. Let's hope some other player will rise.

Well, haven't you watched their match yesterday? That wasn't soo convincing by Bayern as you could have expected beforehand. Sevilla showed pretty good how you should play against Bayern these days. And ff En-Nesyri has his nerves under control just right the end or if he is facing a goalkeeper other than Manuel Neuer, Sevilla wins the game.

Nowadays Barcelona is playing like a itialian team. Just trying to get no goal against and hoping that they score.

If you look at the whole game, Bayern was clearly the better team. Sevilla got a controversial penalty. You can see it as a foul, but just as well as a normal duel. After that, mainly Bayern controlled the gameplay and had some good chances. Sane's goal was regular and actually Bayern should have won the game within the regular play time. In the end Sevilla still had a big chance, but you could see how the striker lost his temper when he suddenly saw Manuel Neuer in front of him  All in all it was not an outstanding game, but Bayern deserved to win.

There is no second Sevilla and no second Lopetegui. And if Sevilla managed to oppose Bayern, it does not mean that someone else can do so. It takes a couple of seasons to find a promotion for Bayern.

So you are seeing Sevilla better than teams like City, Real, Juve, PSG or Liverpool etc.? If Sevilla manages to bring Bayern into trouble, all these team can do it very well, too in my opinion. If you want to have a chance against Bayern, Sevillas tactic could be a good example how to approach the match. If you play such a high-risk formation like Schalke did last week with slow offensive full-backs against Gnabry and Sane, it's no wonder you concede 8 goals. I still see Bayern as the top-favourite for this years title but it won't be a walk in the park for them either. Not every team will be as chanceless as Barca or Schalke.
