City - Porto game was ruined by referee. First, there was incorrect penalty given because there was foul agsinst Porto goalkeeper. Then, free kick when Gundogan scored - where there was foul!? Yeah, City was stronger today, but these referee decision left bad taste in mouth. Bayern continue to destroy everything in their road. Even Atletico with their legendary defence had no chances today. Inter - Borussia M. We had late drama here when Lukaku only managed to equalise score on 90 minute. Situation after 1st round in this group looks very interesting. I expected that Atalanta can score a lot and they did it. Easy 4:0 win. Ajax 0:1 Liverpool. Well, I expected something more from this game than just 1 goal scored. Haven't watched it, but seems it was tough game for LFC.

Bayern destroyed Atletico de Madrid as predicted was an easy win for them considering their situation.
Inter managed to make a point at home at the last minute, if they didn't score the goal they were already with one foot outside the Champion's League IMHO.
Next turn next week, this Champions will be a rush in the group stage.

And that's a wrap for the Champions league games this week. All games went as I expected except for Liverpool's game. I expected more goals in the game. I also anticipated Bayern would win comfortably against Atletico Madrid but 4-0 is a little too much . As for Real Madrid, they need to get their A-game back on unless they want to exist the tournament early. I'm also glad my team (Liverpool) got the away win against Ajax. Not an impressive one but enough to put us on top of group D table just before Atalanta.

Shocked at that result to be honest, I couldn’t believe what I was watching. It looks like this Real team have a long way to go to replicate the achievements of their peers at Real.
It seems that since Ronaldo left the soul was torn out of the club.
Not just the team soul after Ronaldo leaving the club but it is ripping apart the Real Madrid fans and the gamblers who are placing a bet on them. I never thought that they would humiliate like this, i lost a lot while betting for Real Madrid on a parlay when they faced Cadiz and it was a blunder on my part to expect them to win against Shakhtar Donetsk when they are struggling as a team.

Today's Uefa Champions League has been an interesting one except for Real Madrid which continues to defy all odds to make sure, it's fans becomes offset all it's just because, the fans aren't really much in the stadiums. It's very unlikely that a champions league team such as Real Madrid will continue yo loose this way. Two home games lost without even sharing a point. It might be the first game in this seasons Uefa Champions League but then, having an edge by conceiving less goals and not loosing a point would have put Real Madrid up front. With Real Madrid's style of play, I'm not sure they can even stand Liverpool. Liverpool seem to win by just a goal this in the UCL and Bayern Munich is out again to chase the title rather seriously. I won't be surprised if Bayern Munich ends up winning the league this season.

I would add to the list of surprising results 'Gladbach getting a point tonight, i had this one as a sure win for the homeside. The visitors could've taken all three if it wasn't for Lukaku's 90th min equalizer, that's three straight disappointing results for Inter including two in Serie A, i expect them to pour their anger on Genoa this weekend... How did you guys do with your bets tonight? I'm fooling around with double chance and total lately, getting decent results: https://i.ibb.co/wRDq0cg/stjtj.pnghttps://i.ibb.co/m4N5XxB/hfgkfk.png
just a small technicality if i may: If they end up losing tonight, It'll be their second consecutive loss at the Santiago Bernabéu. What could be worse than losing 3 - 0 nil to such at the Santiago Bernabeu Real Madrid are currently playing their home games at Alfredo Di Stefano stadium and will for a while...

I also anticipated Bayern would win comfortably against Atletico Madrid but 4-0 is a little too much . What do you expect from Bayern Munich ? They basically trample every other club out there ever since last season and alot of people were really expecting them to win the first game . The pre match odds for Bayern Munich to win was around 1.5 - 1.6 and alot of people are definitely betting for them to win this one I'm also glad my team (Liverpool) got the away win against Ajax. Fun fact, 3 out of 4 Premier League team ended up winning their first game except for Chelsea which ended with a Draw. This totally looks bad for Lampard , He is doing miserably in Premier league and another draw in Champions League would be something he wants to avoid

I expected a scoreline around 2-1 or even 2-0 not 4-0. They made it look to easy to win a team of such caliber since Athletico isn't a team that goes down without a fight. Although their recent run in the Bundesliga has been good following their shocking defeat about 3 weeks ago. Fun fact, 3 out of 4 Premier League team ended up winning their first game except for Chelsea which ended with a Draw. Agreed. Lampard and the entire Chelsea team needs to start stepping up their game otherwise fingers would start being pointed to some people. With the kind of money Chelsea spent during the transfer window, they should be winning home games at least.

It is true that the UEFA Champions League a very interesting match, except for the result of the Real Madrid match which disappointed many parties. Like Real Madrid too underestimated Shakhtar, so that the first half could be 3 goals behind. And the second half tries to catch up with the score, but ultimately failed and ultimately had to suffer defeat. Unlike Liverpool who managed to beat Ajax 1-0, then Bayern Munich played very well and convincingly. After defeating Atletico with a score of 4-0, I would not be surprised if Bayern Munich finally won the UEFA Champions League again.

3-0 , 4-0 it seems it was a normal margin winning for bayern munich. The domination they had with a lot of chances could be more horrible for Atletico Madrid. There is no real competition in the champions league title race if you ask me for now considering how real madrid struggling .. barcelona declining .. Manchester are inconsistent so do with PSG while juventus might still have the champions league curse. Should we expect for the underdog to win Champions League this season ? I always hope so every year tho.

and what is Diego Simeone doing ? he is already jumping like a kangaroo on the sidelines ?
It's Simeone style, bro. He likes to show his expression, the same as José Mourinho. Just enjoy it, don't bother him with the style! but atletico madrid has received fewer goals than barclona. this is also a big success
What? Fewer goals mean success! I know what you mean. But at least it proves that Atletico Madrid has a stronger defense than Barcelona. Now let's see what happens if Munchen against Real Madrid? Will the result be 2-0 for Munchen. Munchen looks unstoppable, I suspect if they already win this competition from the early stage. 4:0 goals today : 1:0 Coman (28.), 2:0 Goretzka (41.), 3:0 Tolisso (66.), 4:0 Coman (72.)
Even Coman can make two goals. I don't know what's happening with the youngster in Bayern Munchen, but they all seem very aggressive and play with full motivation.

Lazio dropped in performance badly since the last season restart... and how ManU managed to win vs PSG! and obviously no comments about Real Madrid...they will face hard times and Zidane will have to find a solution to this!

The defeat of Real Madrid is the last trophy of their old squad. Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, Benzama, they have been in their downhill sides and from their forms in a few matches this season in La Liga and in Champions League, the Blancos' board can prepare for a season without a single trophy.
Last season, the trophy in La Liga makes people thought that the squad still be strongth to fight for trophy like what happened in Barcelona when they won their last Champions League. Now a few seasons later, Barcelona officially show their troubles and can not be fixed in a matter of season. Real Madrid are facing same problems.

I was expecting to see more goals in the game and mostly both teams to score in the both halfs. Unluckily Liverpool was dominant in the first half and they didn't give any space to Ajax to express any attacks. An early goal from Liverpool was crucial in order to control the pace and the whole game as a result.

Liverpool was lucky that Ajax scored an own goal. Ajax had the best chances in the match but the luck wasn't on their side. At the end they even bring Huntelaar (37) but too bad he couldn't do anything in the last minutes.

I recall some memes like Duren 0-3 Bayern Barca 2-8 Bayern Duren> Barca yeah, Atletico did not seem good last night, but it was a goal in the first half that was decided the match in this manner, Atletico could be back with a early goal in the second half, but without it, everything finished miserably for them, Bayern seem strong and powerful to re-gain crown in Champions league, but it is still early on just remembering that they won in London 2:7 in last year group stage, and it is not rare for them to score 5,6,7 goals, so Atletico was done good last night

To be honest, Im not really keen with the idea of an underdog team actually ended up winning the Champions League. I would love to see that in League but not in Champions League. Imagine how sad would it be to see an underdog team ended up beating the top representative of all other major league. Some people would love it but its not my taste though At the end they even bring Huntelaar (37) but too bad he couldn't do anything in the last minutes.

Dang, 37 years old and still playing I'm not saying a team like lokomotiv moscow , midtjylland or ferencvaros as underdogs to win Champions League though that's more than a mission impossible, I'm referring an underdog like ajax which they proven capable reach the final few years ago or fc porto who have successfully won it with mourinho even yeah it's long time ago. The odds for a team like this still huge , the last time i checked it was : Ajax 90++ Porto 100++ Marseille 100++ That's what I'm saying
