I've read on social media, if Virgil ever said they were lucky enough not to fight Man City in the UCL Final. These words slightly mean that Virgil is a little disdainful of Madrid. Unfortunately Liverpool again failed to win the final against Real Madrid, but I think this time they were just unlucky and there was no difference in class or play. For me, Thibaut Courtois deserves the status as the best player in this match. Thibaut Courtois made nine saves in the 90 minutes of the final which left Mohamed Salah looking like he was frustrated trying to score.

Courtois indeed played an amazing game. It was a really fun one to watch, in the beginning I thought maybe Liverpool was going to score, but Courtois kept the net safe for the entire game. And then Real started to attack a bit more, and to be honest I think they deserved the goal that was called out as offside as it was kicked by a Liverpool player...

Ouch, this was painful. I felt we were in control for larger periods of the game, but then again - we could have expected that Real would use even the slightest chances we would give them to score.
Courtois was the difference yesterday, some of his saves were outstanding (especially the Mane's shot in the 1st half).

Well, Real really deserve this when you look at the teams they beat along the way. They single-handedly wiped out the English challenge, by knocking out Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea. And they also knocked out PSG. They had some really tough match ups in every round, and came out on top every time... and for most of these games it looked like Real would lose, but they fought until the last minute and prevailed.

Of course the real champions of Europe are Sheriff Tiraspol, who beat Real in the group stage.

What a classic performance from the two sides , though I sided Liverpool to win the game , But Courtois was incredible in the game and didn't allow Liverpool to see the back of the next despite all the attempts to try to score a goal , I think Liverpool didn't show enough strength in the game last night towards their opponent Real Madrid and should have done more than their performance.

As I expected, Real Madrid will play defensively but they will be tactful. That is what happened. Real Madrid did not make attack too much. Real Madrid made only 4 attempts in the entire match. Finally the Champions league final is tonight, was waiting for this match for weeks now. The Europa League semi and quarter finals got me excited again for European football. Even though I lost some money with my last few bets I want to recover my losses tonight. Both Real Madrid and Liverpool are very strong teams, I expect to see many goals and this will likely go into over time.
I am wondering how many people here on the forum are getting on Real Madrid. Real has a strong history in the Champions league, but this year Liverpool seems like a little stronger to me. Also Klopp seems like a better coach to me than Ancelotti. I will bet on Liverpool to win, maybe also a bet to see more than 4 goals could be profitable.

The real Madrid goalie Courtious is the reason that Liverpool didn't get a goal, despite all their attempts. It is very unlikely of Liverpool that they played 90+ mins without having a goal. It proves how good Real Madrid is in the game.
Though, players like Alexander Arnold didn't do his best for the club yesterday.
