I still can't believe that Zidane has 3 to be fair . Ancelotti is great, but if Zidane kept going, he would have maybe another title, or maybe he wouldn't, he could have moved to another team and maybe won one. Now that PSG kept Mbappe, I really really really want to see Zidane manages PSG, and do it for many years.

I know for sure that they would be good enough to listen to Zidane, someone who won it 3 times the moment he started managing a team, and became one of the best ever. After PSG extended Mbappe's contract with the privileges given, I personally don't believe Zidane will be willing to coach PSG. Real Madrid had a very poor performance generally but they still used their chances in a very effective way. They did the best thing they do always. They scored the goal by a very quick counter-attack. This was the thing I was hoping for to happen because it would make the game more enjoyable. I was expecting to see Liverpool playing their usual dominant game after that goal in the end. I'm afraid Liverpool weren't that much impressive still. They had some important chances and Courtois didn't let them score. Congratulations to Real Madrid and their fans!

I think Liverpool looked to get caught off Guard because the goal was built up by Dani Carvajal. And him being a right-back I think Liverpool probably thought they are not in too much danger. But it was a great build-up and even though it looks like the goal was a little bit of an accident I think it was done well by Real Madrid. I'm very contented with seeing the team I was favouring for the title winning it at the end.    I was worried about Real Madrid after I watched that quite poor performance against Liverpool. Honestly I expected to see Liverpool finding more goal opportunities than them in this match but I believe that this was too much. Real Madrid should be grateful for Vinicius to score that goal otherwise they would have been under a bigger threat. I made a bet on Real Madrid to win the title and it wasn't easy to watch this match for me.    I'm happy for especially Benzema as he deserved this title by his awesome effort until this round.

Real Madrid was the more deserving team to win the Champions League in my opinion but if I am being honest I think Liverpool had the better performance in the finals. The problem is Liverpool was not good enough when it came to the finishing and they did not do well in the final third of the pitch.

Real Madrid really defended well I have to say and Liverpool got a lot of corner kicks but almost each of them was headed away by the Real Madrid defense. I am actually happy for Karim Benzema as he could lift the Champions League trophy but I am also sad at the same time for Muhammad Salah.

As far as I know from the history of football, the golden age for Real was between 1955 and 1960 when Real won five European titles in a row, with Puskas and other football stars of that time.
The support of politics and the state at that time was certainly welcome when there really wasn’t as much money and sponsors in football as there are today.
Barcelona started winning European titles much later, after the fall of fascism in Spain, for the last 30 years, which is certainly no coincidence.
