Now as per current result India win and one more match left in fifth test match I think India team is more likely to win. England team's batting and bowling performance is not much improvement due to which they are not able to match India, but Indian team's batting and bowling performance is excellent so they perform well in every match and win.

Responsible batting by Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel saw India reach the target of victory by losing 5 wickets. India managed to add 72 runs to the scoreboard from this pair. India were under a lot of pressure after losing 5 wickets for 120 runs. Gill-Jurel duo saved India at crucial moments. SHubman Gill was unbeaten on 52 off 124 balls and Juren on 39 off 77 balls.

England batted very well in the first innings. England scored 353 runs in the first innings with Joe Root's brilliant batting. If the team could somehow collect 200 runs in the second innings, then maybe England could defeat India. But in the second innings, none of the batsmen of England's squad could bat well. Australia has 10-sh consecutive home series records 2 times but there were a couple of draw series in between as well so second best is considered 10 series which is ofc Australia. 2 more test series are lined up this year (NZ and BAN) so Indian should up their tally to 19 soon, unless some surprises are waiting.

Rishabh Pant will always stay in the priority list of the team selectors for his overall good performance and experience. Jurel could be the best option for India in the absence of Pant. This youngster has shown his capability in this test match. He batted well in both innings despite being under pressure. Although it is early to judge him with the performance of two international test matches, but I hope he will be a good choice as he played with responsibility in a difficult condition.

About Patidar the guy has struggled so much to get a berth and at his age it is impossible to make a comeback. I doubt he would be replaced in the final test. I think the Rohit and Dravid gang would keep him and give him the last opportunity as it doesn't hurt the team or the series. I won't think Bhumrah would make a comeback as considering the upcoming IPL and his fitness issue in the past he would be rested. Considering giving rest to a few players I feel this time both Ashwin and Jadeja would be rested due to their age factor. A batch of all new palyers sitting at the bench would be given a chance. I do feel Mukesh will be again tested if it does happen then it is a possibility that Shirajz might sit on the bench and Akash Deep as his replacement.

Agreed. Heard that Pant will finally be playing again in the IPL though he will only bat and probably field, but he won't be keeping. Him, Rahul and Jurel are great options considering everything at the moment.

Now for last match I am sure indian team will have upper hand on them and result will be like 4-1. But if we have same seen disaster batting order like how bad they collapse them things can be different

Last test match has lost it's relevance, as India has already won the series by a margin of 3-1. It was a blunder from England to not to give their pacers enough spells in the last innings (Ollie Robinson and James Anderson together got just 3 overs, while the spinners bowled 58 overs). And they had India at 120/5 when Sarfaraz got out. But then Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill took India home by batting patiently. England captain persisted with his spinners, and I thought that Anderson had a better opportunity to get a few breakthroughs.

Impressed with Jurel, especially because he batted well under pressure, most newcomers and often experienced too lose their composure while performing under pressure, also Jurel and Jaiswal both are young (23, 22 years respectively), right guidance and they are good to go.

On Patidar, guy is good, I love to see his shots when he's in touch, but I'm sure the pressure of playing good, to prove his worthiness caused him to perform poor, also he's already 30 and there are so many young players in the line who want to get into Indian team and this may cause him to get sidelined.

Both the teams participating in any cricket match try their best to win the match. However, the team players who can give good performance are known to be able to win the match. When this Test series between India and England started, England got off to a good start by defeating India in the first match. India tried to win that match but they performed poorly against England due to which they lost the match. Similarly, in the three matches that England lost to India, in those three matches they tried but failed to give their best performance, due to which they were defeated.

We should see some decent change in the next week, depending on the NZ vs AUS contest. India could remain in 2nd spot even if they lose the last test against England. When Virat Kohli and other players were missing in this series against England, we had a bit of a feeling that maybe India would appreciate the absence of Virat Kohli better against England. Team India understood the absence of Virat Kohli well in the first match but in the three matches after that I don't think Team India understood the absence of Virat Kohli. The batsmen batted with a lot of responsibility and brought the team to a respectable position in each innings which allowed the bowlers to bowl confidently in the second innings. As the batsmen capitalized well, the bowlers bowled well due to which team India won the series with a good combination of batting and bowling.
