Big 3 always facilitate to big teams like India , Australia and England. They are rule maker and they don't want for any small team to come up. They want these teams at the top. Australian team plays the most test matches against England team . I suppose ,big 3 didn't want for Pakistan and any other team to come to the top. Because the hand of success is in their hand and they can use their power at any time and they can make a rule at any time and they can break the rules at any time. ICC is a whole manger of cricket in the World and they can take any step at any time either it is good or bad for low ranked countries.

With the current situation here in subcontinent I am not hopeful about their future into test format because this is not profitable for them just India is having few advantages, and they are enjoying with this all others are having nothing to do with this which is the problem for them and mostly are now trying to have their stakes into T20I which is future.

As mentioned New Zealand and South Africa are also having not good number of test matches with West Indies is already down and out I have personal feeling now it's time to call end of this era for the all teams and allow them to have only ODI and T20I teams which will give them good financial booster and also better environment for the competition because this test format is all about expenses and waste of time and energy for them even ICC never consider this even in near future.

Apart from ICC/ACC competitions such as ODI World Cup and Asia Cup, the viewership remains unsatisfactory for the ODI format. He already won the ODI WC trophy and is Australian, so his retirement makes complete sense because they tend to retire when on top, plus he would like to focus his last couple of years playing tests for his country and if his body allows then possibly IPL as well. Most of the time we are having right decisions on right time by the Australians with as we are still talking about these formats and things which are going to be stayed here as headache for long time is created by ICC because their think thank is not worthy about this game and having any positive ideas as well which can bring innovative ideas for the game and having improved fan base and entertainment.

T20 World Cup needs to be had gap of 2 or 3 years with all other ICC events needs to be stopped and with this need to work on test format if possible because for me now they are late and already lost their chance about this format for having better things so going with 5 or 6 teams are ok and allow all countries to have teams just for T20 and also work on their domestic leagues which bring the best talent and also give them some revenue for development of the game as most chances ODI format is almost going to end till 2031.

LOL.. your opinion is indeed unpopular. Are you suggesting to replace ICC tournaments with useless bilaterals? Because that is the only alternative. ICC needs a major tournament every year, because that's how they get the funds. On top of that, this was bargained with the BCCI. The former got a major tournament every year, in return for providing a 3-month window every year for the IPL. If there are no such tournaments, then the weaker full member nations as well as the associates will go bankrupt.

Yeah, i am aware of the financial dynamics and back door deals. My overall point is that since 2021, we have 4 WCs ( 3 T-20 WCs and 1 ODI WC), then add 2 WTC finals as well. That's 6 ICC finals in just 4 years.

Can understand WTC because it's 2 year cycle and they added the final just to keep things interesting in the test cricket. ODI WC comes every 4 years, which is good but the T-20 WC is becoming a joke IMO and to make things worse they are also squeezing CT, atm it's ODI format but you never know if they turn this into another T-20 mini WC.

Yes, in this this perspective you are right because most leagues like IPL ,PSL ,BBL are earning good from these leagues. But ODI and test matches are burden on country economy. That should be change but no team will play T20 matches whole the year. So they will take break and then they will change format. In this way ,they can be relax .

Yes, you are right. T20 cricket is advanced cricket and people enjoy T20 format. Test cricket is very very boring cricket. Most of the audience like hard hitters and we see hard hitters in only T20 format. ICC should take step for that because test cricket is time wasting and waste of money. Many countries are investing on test format but test cricket did no gave anything to them . But many investors got multiple times returns on T20 cricket team investments and they earned  a lot of money from that.ODI cricket is less boring as comparison to T20 cricket but ICC should evolve the rules and it should make matches of 30 overs . In this way ,we will get great competition.

You might be wrong first got the most fame in test cricket and was very popular. From the history it is known that Test playing was recognized since 1877. First there was Test format then ODI format and T20 format. When the ODI format was introduced in cricket, the popularity of the Test format decreased slightly as ODIs took less time than Tests. Again when T20 format was introduced in cricket, it became more popular than ODI. Nowadays we see T-Ten being launched again in various leagues which are shorter and more popular.

Test players are different in every country and players who play regular Test matches do not do well in ODI and T20 format. You said test cricket should be done away with, maybe test cricket will be there as long as ICC is there, currently test championships are organized to popularize test cricket. The competition starts with Test matches between different countries to play in this Test Championship.

You need to recheck your comments as few days back I have your post which was in favor of test cricket, and now you are going against this so stop this all if you have no idea about cricket because it's all spamming test is never been bored cricket still good and enjoyable but in last few years we are having change of priorities which are bringing some problems but still five or six teams are doing good for the game, and we will have them for the long time which is good for this format.
Even most of the countries are having trouble due to structure and finances but still this can exist for the long time because we are having strong base in top three which are doing good and having strong teams.

Yesterday 1 st unofficial test game between Ireland emerging players team and West indies academy team. In this test game, West indies academy team won the toss and they got a chance to take first bat or bowl and West indies academy chose bowl first. In 1 st Inning of Ireland Emerging players team, Ireland team made 283 runs and their effort in inning was going very great C.Freitas batsman made 82 runs in 125 balls with hit twelve 4s in 1 st Inning but in second inning he scored only 26 runs and dismissed but C.Carmichael full filled their struggle by making 92 runs with eight 4s and two 6s. Both inning Ireland team set 557 runs but West indies academy team only chased 485 runs both inning and lost game by 72 runs. Ireland emerging players teams also won past ODi series game which have total one game Ireland team won this game and also this one.

After a long time an official test match is coming between India Women vs South Africa Women .
They have played the ODI series recently and India Women team won the series with 3-0. But I appreciate the South Africa Women team performance too. Well both teams are good. So we can't say anything at this time. The match will start on 28 June. I hope both will play good. But here still India women team is looking much stronger. But there is a big difference between ODI format and Test match format so we can't say anything. May be South Africa Women team will perform well and try to win this match. So let's wait for the 28 and Match start.

Nowadays world has become fast moving. People doesn't have time to spend 8 hours a day continuously for 5 days, and that too for a match where there is guarantee that there will be a definite outcome. Still there are a lot of middle aged and elderly people who continue to follow test cricket. But from what I have seen among my friend circle and among my relatives, hardly anyone in the younger age groups follow longer versions of cricket. Forget about test cricket, even ODI cricket is not popular among them.
