And Sri Lanka A once again proved their legacy, how perfect they are in batting and batting. They became more dedicated in test format. I mean look at their scored! 435 runs were made which is huge where Sonal Dinusha alone made 165 runs. While Afghanistan A team played 2 inngins and did 198/10 and 211/10 runs. I must say Nisala Tharaka and Wanuja Sahan Kumara just made dangerous Bowl. And Even after both inngins runs, they made total 409 runs something and Sri Lanka A just won the match. Not only that. They won by an innings and 26 runs.

But the batting failure of the Afghanistan team again in the test match. Afghanistan could have batted responsibly against this Sri Lankan team, of course the game would have been competitive if they had not won the Test match. However, if you look at the score of the Sri Lankan team, it is clear that how responsible the Sri Lankan team is, they won the test match because of their responsible batting.

Here can be the two reasons first the batting line of the Afghanistan was weak and the second is the bowling line of Sri Lanka A team was strong. Basically when Sri Lanka A made 400+ runs so this make a little pressure on Afghanistan A team and Sri Lanka A team took advantage from this. And they increased the pressure level on Afghanistan A team. Just due to this pressure the Afghanistan A team's players got out earlier in the first inning. When all team got out. And than Afghanistan A started follow on but unfortunately they didn't well again and they lost the match. I hope Afghanistan A will perform well in the upcoming future matches.

The bowling line of the Afghanistan team's batting line is very strong. However, we did not notice a very good performance in both batting and bowling in the way they performed in the Test series against Sri Lanka, due to which it seems that they need to perform better in both batting and bowling. But in sri lanka this team has to be praised because this sri lanka team has performed very well against afghanistan in t20 match also with very good performance and won the series and in test match also because of their excellent batting and bowling they won the test match as well. If the Afghanistan team can perform a little better or focus on batting and bowling, this team will do better in the future.

The ECB has announced that a test match will be played between England and Zimbabwe next year. If it actually happens, then it will be the first test match between the two sides since 2003. The match will be played from 28th to 31st May 2025, but the venue is not yet finalized. Both the teams have played 6 matches against each other, with two matches each being played in 1996, 2000 and 2003. England will also be hosting India in 2005, for a five-match test series. They will also be hosting the World Test Championship final in the same year.

The bowling line of the Afghanistan team's batting line is very strong. However, we did not notice a very good performance in both batting and bowling in the way they performed in the Test series against Sri Lanka, due to which it seems that they need to perform better in both batting and bowling. But in sri lanka this team has to be praised because this sri lanka team has performed very well against afghanistan in t20 match also with very good performance and won the series and in test match also because of their excellent batting and bowling they won the test match as well. Usually Brother, I don't watch test matches but I did many matches among these squads Afghanistan A squad against Sri lanka A sqaud in different competitions ODI and T20I, these matches were quite enjoyable and much interesting for me. This was the just unofficial test match among them and but also in this clash, Sri Lanka A sqaud again displayed significant strength in match and defeat once more Sri Lanka A sqaud very badly. Sri Lanka A sqaud did not need for playing 2nd batting inning because their contribution in first inning was enough and Sri Lanka A squad managed to collect 435 scores which was so amazing. Afghanistan A squad batting performance in both innings was not much impressive in one inning, Afghanistan A squad collected 211 scores total and in second inning, Afghanistan A squad collected 198 scores. Sri Lanka A squad emerged victorious with one inning and 26 scores. Sonal Dinusha achieved admirable century in test clash and this batter also played good innings in previous competition. I know this not a official sqauds member of Afghanistan but their squad members need much improvement and practice in both innings for future battles.

Sri Lankan International test cricket team played very well in test matches and they easily won the test series against Afghanistan. Afghanistan should focus on their weaknesses,they are aggressive players which are not suitable for test cricket. They only hit sixes and fours but test cricket is a game of patience and they have to stay on the pitch to win this match.

That's why they are unsuccessful in test cricket. They are playing good in T20 match but actual cricket is test cricket.They should improve their skills to stay on Wicket, otherwise there is no chance of their success in test matches.

Any match between Australia and Zimbabwe will be horribly lop-sided.

IMO you are expecting too much, these boards hardly tour full member nations like Bangladesh etc and are not interested in hosting them. So what makes you think that they will facilitate tests matches against associates?

In every cycle, the likes of Sri Lanka, Windies or Bangladesh are also hunting for BIG-3 quota because of financial reasons and for the same reason, these weaker boards can't entertain Zimbabwe or Associates.

ICC should should provide opportunities to the lower teams ,in this way ,they will get a chance to play cricket against big teams. We have seen the same teams a lot of times but ICC should change criteria. Zimbabwe, Ireland, Netherland, Nepal should play test matches against big teams. Most probably,Change in test cricket will happen . May be we will get a new champion because of changing the strategy of ICC but that is not easy step for ICC . I am not expecting any change in red-ball format with things are going challenging for the associate countries because they are having no sources and ICC is also not helpful like we have many other sports associations working for the promotion of games most chances we will have cut in this format with more teams will be lost quality and performance which will bring decline in fan base and also interest from few countries.
Currently, just 4 or 5 countries are having good things, and they can survive in this format which is clearly looking and ODI is also on verge of death with jut T20i is future which will increase revenues and popularity with many new countries could be able to have something positive from this format.

Speaking of the ODI format, I believe in the future ODI will face similar problems but because of the T-20. Big teams are already not interested in Bilateral ODI as it's losing relevance. That's why ICC brought back the Champions Trophy.

We might see some effects or drastic changes when the existing media right cycle ends (2027).

Test cricket is real cricket. By test cricket performance,a player can be judge because test match is a game of patience and ICC want good players in all formats. I know ,there are very less people who see test matches but test cricket has great importance because by test cricket,a player stamina could be judge. T20 format is  short format, T20 match is game of 3 hours and players are successful which are hard hitters but I test cricket your class matters a lot . ICC should give all types of matches to all team , West Indian last series was outclass and ICC should give them test matches against Australia and India.
