This tells the complete story about Indian tour of New Zealand, Almost we can call it anything; experiment, injuries in both teams or any lame excuse (From Indian perspective) but the facts are simple and clear.

It is going to be an exciting series and I expect the results in both test matches . It may be little on NZ side as pitch would be for fast bowlers and NZ are now back again in good form. NZ may whitewash the test series too .

I disagree. Their ODI form does not automatically imply that their test form is great in any way whatsoever. They played against an Indian team filled with newbies in the T-20 and ODI format while the test will consist of experienced players overall. Also, India has been pretty awesome in tests in recent times(Can't remember when they last lost a test match) which is why I am expecting an Indian whitewash. NZ test team needs to perform in an extraordinary manner if they wish to beat the likes of India.

The T20 was a clean white wash by India and New Zealand returned the favors and white washed the ODI tournament and i am not accepting the experimental route either. The meme perfectly summons the series till now . It may be little on NZ side as pitch would be for fast bowlers and NZ are now back again in good form. NZ may whitewash the test series too .
Earlier India used to struggle in green pitches but now it is a different situation altogether as the Indian fast bowlers are world class that could trouble any batting line up in green tracks, so you cannot underestimate the Indian team like that and if the batsman can perform in those situation they will win the Test series. I personally consider Virat Kohli to be a much better captain in the Test format than in the shorter formats.

This test series not not going to be easy for any team as now India is performing very good in test matches even they are on green pitches but New Zealand is also good after winning ODI series they will feel more energetic for this series but still I am going with India as they have very good pace attach which can destroy any team on any track and batting is already edge for them if Kohli will in good touch.

Technically India is on the upper edge in test matches as compared to newzealand. India played it's last test match in Nov of 2019 against Bangladesh. Virat Kohli is the most successful test captain in India's cricket history and India is the highest ranking team in ICC test championship. But, you never know as anything can happen in Cricket.

New Zealand has nothing to lose. India is currently the number 1 test side and odds are heavily stacked against New Zealand. On top of that, many of their star players are not playing due to injury. But as we have seen during the ODI series, overconfidence from the part of the Indians can prove to be their disadvantage. And some of the newcomers are performing well for New Zealand, such as Kyle Jamieson.

Absolutely correct over confidence and substandard bowling were the main reason for India's humiliating defeat in the ODI. I am sure by now they know what went wrong and what they need to do for their test series. There will be too much pressure on Indian team to perform well in the up coming test series.

India vs New Zealand test match series won’t be a one sided contest as New Zealand has shown during the ODI series that they won’t be pushed around by team India, and hence I believe that they’ll make it very difficult for team India to win this series. Furthermore team India will be out for revenge as they have suffered a humiliating white wash in the ODI series, and therefore it’ll be interesting to see what kind of tactics will they deploy to beat New Zealand in their home.

In the recent years, India has performed well in overseas pitches that supported pace bowling. But this was mostly due to the effort put in by seam bowlers such as Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma, as well as due to consistent performances with the bat by Virat Kohli. But the spinners and the other batsmen have not yet proved themselves in such conditions. And therefore, New Zealand has a real chance of upsetting India.

Why would any consider it as an upset as New Zealand does perform better in their own back ground and if they prepare green wickets India does have the fast bowling pedigree to challenge any team and the Indian batting depends upon Virat Kohli and if he fails to deliver they loose the match and that is what we saw in the ODI.

Right now New Zealand is in top 4 of test ranking and if they win this series then they will be on 3rd position I also feel this could be not upset as India is depending on Kohli which will hurt them badly as its happen in ODI series they cannot exist on one player for long time even bowlers able to perform better but now problems coming from batting.

Indian pacers (Ishant, Shami, Bumrah.etc) will perform on green pitches. But the problem is with the batsmen. During the past, none of the batsmen (apart from Virat Kohli) have performed consistently on pitches that are supportive of pace bowling. And the performance of spinners on such surfaces have been pathetic as well. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal may be better when compared to Ravichandran Ashwin in this regard, but even their bowling has been below par.

If Rohit Sharma returns to the squad then it will strengthen the batting line up as KL Rahul is in good form and if Virat Kohli can chip in with the runs then India can be a challenge as they have the fast bowlers to trouble any batsman in a good pitch and the spinners might not be that effective but India will play on spinner and the toss will be between Ravichandran Ashwin and Jadeja and i wont be surprised if they play four premier fast bowlers if it is a green surface.

Rohit Sharma is one of the most important players for India, but only in ODI and T20 formats. He doesn't have the patience to play long innings in test format and therefore I don't think that his absence (in case he is not fit) will have a large impact on the outcome of the series. He is 32 years old, and so far he has played just 32 test matches. Now compare this to Virat Kohli, who is younger than Rohit and has 84 test matches against his name. Personally I would prefer Mayank Agarwal instead of Rohit Sharma in the test format.

3 New Bilateral Tours are coming up fellas.
- Australia Tour of South Africa 21st Feb (4 t-20 and 2 ODI) - West Indies Tour of Sri Lanka 22nd Feb ( 4 ODI and 2 T-20 ) - Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh 22nd Feb ( 1 Test , 3 ODI and 2 T-20)
ODI series seems pointless this year TBH. Anyways some interesting encounter are coming, Warner-Smith duo entering in the South Africa's territory after "Sandpaper gate" Scandal (It happened in SA). Let's see if they face any backlash from the spectators.

The best batsmen since the time of Don Bradman lost precious 12 months, as a result of all this drama by the South Africans. What they did was against the law, but it is something almost every fast bowler does in test matches. They were unlucky to be caught. And the South Africans blew it out of proportion. Anyway... that's all past. This time, the South African bowlers are going to get destroyed by Smith.

Is it too much to compare any player to the quality or run machine like Don Bradman, Smith is a really great Test player and in good form but he is yet to perform the same level like he plays in Test in ODI and T20. I am expecting Australia to white wash South Africa as the Australian players are in really good form and are playing the best cricket in the past one year and South Africa players are not in great form as they are still scrabbling to find the best combination.
