He needs to play back and showcase his talents one more to make that happened, not sure what's the plan after the trade, if ever he decided to go back there's  a chance that he maybe taken by another known contender the only question right now is if he's willing to play for Terra and let his contract expired then explore for any other opportunities of offers from other team.

TNT or Meralco could be good fits, especially Meralco. His playing style would actually complement their slow-paced system perfectly. If they sign him, he’d definitely be a major boost to their roster.

Ginebra didn’t do anything wrong in this trade as it was the player’s decision. The only downside is that he ended up on a weaker team, which was a bad move for him.

He asked to be traded, and with how he's playing, he's supposed to be traded on a better team (either one of the SMC team aside from Ginebra, or on MVP team), but instead he got traded to a weak team like Terrafirma which for me affected him negatively.

Yes, we can say that Ginebra didn't do anything wrong, but at least trade him to a championship caliber team like maybe Magnolia, or maybe giving it to an MVP team because his years will be wasted when he goes to a team like Terrafirma. His talent will just be a waste there. I guess we can say that he expected that he will be traded to a strong team as well since his value is high at that time. I don't think that he will go back and play in the PBA anymore. His contract expired already at the end of 2024, and until now, there are no signs of him going back. We might hear him playing in lower leagues like the MPBL maybe, or will try his luck overseas.

Romeo and Pringle are back in action but the impact after that first game seems nothing being felt by the team, Vic Manuel already left them while C.Stan showing no interested to play, though I also don't have any idea or any update if what the deal behind Terra and his contract, but if he's interested I guess like what you mentioned Meralco is the best system that may fit if they'll be able to acquire C.Stan a good big and strong center who can also provides decent numbers if needed.

Yes, SMC handles the business behind Terrafirma whatever deals MVP  group might offer to C.Stan if ever that they are interested with his  service it's needed to be discuss under SMC's radar. And as a solid competitor for sure if the deal is right there's a chance that they'll allow it to happened but if there's none favorable to SMC then it will keep the same way till the end of the contract.

Not by far to happen, if SMC's boss Al wants it then things can go accordingly we all know the control and whatever will be the problem  nothing can prevent him from making it happen.

That would actually help limit Fajardo's minutes, which is smart since he's the team's franchise player and isn't getting any younger. But wait, wasn't Greg playing in the MPBL recently? I'm surprised to know that northport has the right on him. Anyway, i'll just wait for the official news, hopefully this will come into reality.

I'm also surprised he's returning to the PBA. After his stint with Ginebra, I thought he was playing overseas and then in the MPBL (though I don't follow that league closely). If he does come back, teaming up with JMF could finally give him that championship ring if he didn't win one with Ginebra.

There's definitely potential here, but we can't ignore that they are not getting any younger. If they want to acquire Greg, they'll likely need to make roster adjustments,  probably a big-man-for-big-man swap. Moala Tautuaa seems like the logical piece to move, given his limited minutes and lack of versatility in today's game.

yeah, im aware of this, but its not yet my priroity since we have 2 games tomorrow, the NBA play-in tournament. (warriors vs memphis) and Hawks vs Magic)

Favorable indeed as they can limit JMF game time and let him push after the elimination round, with Gregg they can give Fajardo enough rest and prevent him from getting any serious injuries, if this will materialize their interior will be tough to break and if ever both will be playing alongside each other that's a big threat offensively though with a fast and running approach that might be a liabilities in terms of defense.

Yup, SMB vs Magnolia should be an exciting game without an import as their rosters are evenly match. Though Fajardo has a slight advantage over Ian Sangalang but the latter is much more mobile than Fajardo. I have not place my bet yet as of this writing but definitely i would bet for SMB -2.5 @1.87, Fajardo fan here .

The game went into overtime, but unfortunately SMB fell short. There are just some suspicious lines like this one that make you wonder, maybe it was meant for Magnolia to win all along, especially after they came back from a double-digit deficit (IIRC). When I spot a line that feels fishy like this, I steer clear as I've learned not to fall into those traps again.

That’s why I can’t blame those who speculate that the PBA might be rigged. But at the end of the day, it’s just speculation, and no one has ever proven it.

In the gambling side, "Sunog" hahahah but that's how the game ends only one will win and Mags shows their competitiveness working together to snatched that win against SMB, not sure also why JMF did not take that ball and penetrate the chance is far better, nothing that can do now just move forward and wait for the next game, ika nga kabayan bawi na lang next time....

Young guns Lucero, Lastimosa continue to impress for Magnolia

I only caught the second half of the game but I was really impressed with how the young Lastimosa played.

For a smaller guard, he has excellent outside shooting and a high basketball IQ, he consistently found his open teammates.
At this rate, he’s definitely earning more minutes. Honestly, I thought he would be the best player on the court in that game, not Lucero.

Magnolia has been known as a team that excels pretty well during the elimination round, but fail miserably when playoff comes.

Not against Magnolia, and I want them to win a title as well, and who knows. This 3-0 good start of the team might be a sign for them that this might be their year especially now that they have young and talented players that can play pretty well in a conference like an All-Filipino one. They just need to continue how they're playing, and the win against SMB is a big boost of morale for the team.

Anyway, it's good on my part that I'm starting to watch PBA games again despite the lack of audiences on the arena. I'm trying to at least appreciate the games, but only those SMC and MVP games are the ones that I'm watching.

I've read that Jojo Lastimosa said that they have secured RHJ with a contract for the next 12 months. It also means that if RHJ has got some tournaments to play for his rest, they won't allow him to play there but he's paid for that in exchange for him just to take a rest. This is a good move for the TNT to take care of him and so, they'll get him healthy. But I wonder how much does the contract contains, I'm pretty sure that he probably is getting around 1M peso per month or even more.
