To be honest, I want to see other teams in the finals as that's how the league becomes more exciting. If we get to see the same teams again competing for the championship, that's how we get bored easily. And that's the reason why many fans have been bored already for so many years that we get to see the same teams reigning but as for Meralco, it's a good start. With teams like this, many fans like to see it become a back to back champion.

That last statement might be a good challenge for Meralco winning back to back with those so many teams which very capable to beat them, though for the fans who still monitoring or supporting the league most of them would love to see the Gin kings back in the finals might be possible a good rematch between Bolts and Gin kings, imports rivalry which very decent to watch out if they both dominates the regular season.

It's true that with the imports that they have, those folks play an important part for their teams victory. Anyway, let's just set aside first the championship thing as this conference is going to be long again and we're just at the beginning of it. With the game of Terrafirma and Converge, Noli Eala was disappointed on how the went as he's posted his analysis towards the performance of the Dyip.

By looking with the stats of both Converge and Terrafima it's all clear that the import's productions really paid well for the winning team, local players did provide their respective shared but looking with converge import who gave them 46 amazing points while Terradima's import only gave them 18 points that's a huge difference between the two and if summing it up that's closely the difference of th winning team.

Though it's just the beginning of this new season and there are adjustments that needed to process for all the reinforcement players, their share productions will have a bg impact as they use most of the time playing.

ROS -4.5 @1.85 vs Blackwater - i felt that the spread is not too high and if ever ROS will win, they can easily cover the spread.

NorthPort +6.5 @1.89 vs TNT - i found the handicap is too high for this game so i bet for the underdog to win this game.

Today, we have 2 games again, first game is between converge and DYIP, we will now see C. Stand if he really fit with the team. I also nailed my bet already, I got the over 207.5 for this game I believe with imports they'll score more, and since Converge loves to run, I think they will easily hit the 100+ mark. Next game will depend on the outcome of the first game, I mean my bet, but I like the Phoenix to upset the might SMB.

SMB won their game last night but failed to cover the spread against Phoenix. Fajardo had a monster game as he lead SMB with his 37 points and 23 rebounds, a fitting performance for an MVP last season.

JMF was huge against Phoenix. The Kraken had a double-double with 37 points and 24 rebounds—stats better than an import. After winning another BPC, he showed that he can still deliver a monster performance. So it’s not really about age; as long as JMF is healthy, he will continue his dominance in the paint. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins another BPC after this current season.

I am not sure, that was just his analysis on the game. There's no pick or whatsoever. I think that he's going to be a good commissioner if ever he gets back to the position. With what I have heard before it should be like Chino Trinidad but then, he died sadly.

Losing to Meralco was tough, they were having a good start and just can't even bring the series to game 7. So probably they realize that what they did was wrong, they need to go back to where they were most successful and that is utilizing JMF a lot.

Just notice that TR7 already gained decent minutes playing more or less 25mins that might added a threat and with him being added I think it will be tough for the opposing team to locate who's going to fire up, with Perez, JMF and their import SMB may again aimed for another final appearance.

Stand are on this struggling team, and they might not improve with the current lineup. Anyway, I'm more excited about the second game, Magnolia vs. Converge. I'm betting on the underdog with a +6.5 handicap because I liked what they did in their last game. Hopefully, their import remains unstoppable against a very defensive Magnolia team.

C-Stan trade request tough to ignore, admits Cone

While Tim Cone lauded Christian Standhardinger as a pro in the truest sense of the word, the Barangay Ginebra coach said they had to begin thinking about dealing him to other teams the moment he asked to be traded.

Not a good start for the Gin Kings and Brownlee as they fell to ROS. I wasn't able to finish the game, but I suspect it was Lanete, the rookie from Sweden (that's what I heard from the announcers), who was probably the player of the game. This rookie has proven he can compete, and he was very smart with his decisions. I see that ROS is going to improve this season, especially since they have a good import as well. By the way, I lost my bet too. Although I didn't bet on the Gin Kings' spread, I bet on the team total, which was over, but it turned out to be a low-scoring game and Ginebra didn't even reach 70 points.

What I noticed in the game is that Ginebra has lost their dominance in the paint. They missed C. Stand in that area, as Go isn't of the same caliber, and Japeth is also getting older. I was looking for Abbarientos to have a good debut with Ginebra, but he was having a bad game. Most of his assists were not converted into points, so it's clear that there's a need to fix things for the team to click well.

I agree they missed the dominance of CStand, knowing him fighting for the position and trying to get that second chance point, Go is not a kind of player that will try to force figthing for that rebound no threat from him unlike with CStand who can give that solid 5 position either to create his own shot or to give some space for their gunners.

Though still early for them, lots of game to play and lots of practice to work together and same with your observation Abbarientos debut is not that much impressive looking forward to see him blending with those seniors and jive their games.

It didn't feel good to watch your team struggle after leading by a huge margin, but thankfully their shots were falling in the end. That was a classic example of how exciting the PBA is, where no big lead is safe, and a team can come back if they play strong defense especially a team like Phoenix, who excels at that.

Have not bet on the PBA games for the past few days as i'm out of town but definitely i'll be back on the betting board tomorrow.
