The source says that Manchester United have already made their first offer for Frenkie de Jong. It's a deal consisting of 60 million euros plus 20 million euros (add-ons). Considering his current value, I think that it is a really nice offer. However we don't know how much money Barcelona want for him now. They really need money these days so if they reach an agreement with Manchester United at the end, it would be great for them. On the other hand they will lose a very important player too of course. But sometimes you might need to make some sacrifices.

Barcelona wants 80 million immediately and not in a 60 + 20 scheme, they said they are waiting for a settlement of this issue before June 30th. I don't think so. My opinion is that Lewandoski is condemned to remain in Bayern Monaco also the next year, the management will not allow to him to leave his team, so, we should wait another year to see what he will do.

I guess that he should also considering a return in Borussia Dortmund, this would be really romantic and cool.

I'm wondering about Atletico Madrid too for next season. I observed them during the whole season and they didn't seem quite well. I started to think like Diego Simeone's system has begun not to work very good from now on. Atletico Madrid had big problems in so many league games. They still finished the season right behind Barcelona by a close gap, yes but Barcelona came a very long way until reaching the second position too. This shows the seriousness level of Atletico Madrid's poor performance in that period. I feel that not much thing will change about them but maybe I'll be wrong who knows.

This is reason why I think they wont offer high salary for Lewandowski and they will fail to convince him to join Barcelona. Another reason is Lewandowski might have more interest in other clubs that have better tactic for his style.

De Jong is a good player from Ajax to Netherlands national team. But for some reasons, he has never shown his best in Barcelona. I agree with you. Bayern munich can't afford to lose Lewandowski if they haven't found a good replacement. Otherwise, they performance will surely drop next season. Although, Liverpool haven't made up their mind about selling out the Senegal Star player. It seems they still want to accommodate the player. I agree. It would be a great agreement for Barcelona if they have a deal with Manchester United about 80 million euros in cash. Barcelona need to fix their financial condition as quick as possible and this is one of the biggest ways. He can play as a defensive midfielder too in addition to playing as a central midfield. Manchester United really need a defensive midfielder now as many people agree on it already. This can be their solution I hope. After spending this much money their expectations will be high from him.

As far as I remember, it will not be possible to correct the situation by selling only one player. No wonder the president of Barcelona was furious when the president of La Liga said that Barcelona could not sign Lewandowski and the club needed to sell players, to which Robert's representatives reacted with bewilderment and alarm. The most likely sale for Barcelona right now is de Jong, who would not want to leave the club. Lewandowski is definitely a very good player, but the playing style of the Spanish teams is very different from the German ones. The fact that Lewandowski scores so many goals is certainly no coincidence, but the whole team worked at Bayern for it, you never know how a new player will be accepted in the new team. Lewandowski would certainly be a huge boost for Barcelona, but it is still up to Bayern Munich to decide whether they will let him terminate the contract.

Maybe it isn't their biggest need as they are on the verge of selling Frenkie de Jong. When they sell him they will need to fill his place in the midfield with a good player like him. However I would still love to see Lewandowski and a good midfielder both here. We are just making assumptions about Barcelona's financial condition now but we will find out the real thing in the transfer window. I hope they will have quite a lot of money especially after selling Frenkie de Jong.
