A very interesting thought and question is how it would have gone if they had fired Koeman from Barcelona much earlier and Xavi had been appointed earlier. I think Koeman would never have managed to finish 2nd with Barcelona under these circumstances. Barcelona was in deep trouble. But some players are in danger of running away. Lewandowski can make a good contribution. Barcelona need a solid centre-forward like Lewandowski now. I wouldn't expect Suarez to bring back his old times with Barcelona now. I mean they might go for him only if they fail in bringing Lewandowski or a top striker like him. But rather than going for him they can sign a player for a different position.

Suarez appearance is no longer productive, plus Lewandowski has never been able to be withdrawn by Barcelona to the club due to the detention by Bayern Munich who insisted on trying to maintain his position. Now Barcelona doesn't have much choice if in the end, they have to use the remaining players and not take the initiative of other players. They must be looking for an alternative to fill his place on one hand. But they would still do their best not to lose Lewandowski this summer. He still has one more year left on his contract and Bayern Munich can even think of forcing him to stay. I wonder if it would backfire for them too but we will see. Barcelona must be feeling confident about convincing the player at least.

When Bayern Munich held Lewandowski until his contract expired in 2023, the possibility could backfire for them I think it could happen especially when Lewandowski was convinced of his desire to leave. But as a professional player, of course, Lewandowski must be able to give his best game even though it is a little forced because his wishes are not fulfilled.

yes, as he said, he wants to move to the La Liga club except for Barcelona, I don't know why he really hates Barcelona, maybe have a bad past experience with that club. but if it was suitable for him, what if he does not stay in Atletico?. he has created 34 goals in 83 appearances which I think is most responsive with his age. If Koeman was not sacked their would be no hope for Barcelona to even come our with a better position,  I didn't expect Barcelona to end up with the 2nd position even when xavi took over as the coach,  I was thinking Barcelona would not be able to turn things around.  Barcelona in the hands of xavi will do something great next season.

But he didn't contribute to his country this year so his potential for the Ballon d'Or is low. Usually the player who wins the Ballon d'Or is the player who contributed to his team and country right?

Lewandowski is used to Barcelona style of play, because he had previously been coached by Pep Guardiola when both were at Bayern Munich. Adapting to the style used by Xavi is not something difficult for Lewandowski, while at Bayern Munich he has been coached by different coaches, he is able to play well and his goal productivity is also very satisfying. The reason Bayern Munich set a high price is because Lewandowski is still able to play at a high level even though he is 33 years old, Barcelona can use his services for another 2 or 3 years if they manage to bring Lewandowski to Camp Nou.

Basically Barcelona have been wrong from the start when choosing Koeman as coach, so if at that time sack him sooner and make Xavi as coach at least it can make Barcelona recover faster. Because Koeman's dismissal was very late, it was too late for Barcelona to bounce back, because now we know the good results after Xavi became coach, so we can assume that if Xavi became a coach sooner, Barcelona would be quicker to recover.

It is true that in this case Benzema is clearly one of the favorites now.
La Liga's Top Scorer and his trophy and Champions League's Top Scorer and Trophy are not something that is usually taken lightly, therefore it is not wrong that he is a strong candidate now.
It would be very strange if this year he failed to get the Ballon d'Or especially there are already some legendary players who have expressed their opinion that they feel it is certain that Benzema will get the Ballon d'Or.
