So, I actually don't think it is going to be much of a competition between them and Real Madrid. I hope that it will not be as one-sided as it was the last season. That I am not going to be surprised if it is. It doesn't look like Barcelona is going to be able to get Robert Lewandowski.

I agree with you. Only Real Madrid fought for the title last season. Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona were far behind than Real Madrid. But next season will not be like that. @Cryptmuster, Real Madrid did not have the main competition in the league which was Barcelona. Barcelona was basically out of the equation. So Real Madrid did not have too many problems winning the league title but I think Real Madrid did really well to win the Champions League as well. And even though the players of Real Madrid are old right now they have lots of experience and that came in handy

Yes, I also agree with mamesso, I think Real Madrid had a really good balance of young and old players. And that helped Real Madrid a lot when it came to performing on the big stage of the Champions League. And obviously, we cannot forget that Benzema was absolutely on fire for Real Madrid.

Barcelona optimal or not really depends on the depth of their squad, but with the right strategy of course Xavi can optimize existing players to compete next season, in fact with strategy and hard work a team is not impossible to win a competition even if only with a makeshift squad, I think there have been many examples of teams that didn't have a capable squad but were able to win the league so far, so right now actually improving finances is Barcelona main focus rather than anything else.

Indeed, at this time the combination of Barcelona in the future will be more promising, plus if their finances recover from the crisis. AFAIK, Koundé has only been a target for Barcelona and it will remain that way for the foreseeable future, not with Barca's financial dilemma, Koundé is only 23 years of age and got just two years left on his contract at Sevilla' I really don't see Barcelona going all out and out of line for him when they can stay in contact and get him for relatively cheaper next year, with the hop that the financial status would have been better or in 2 years when he'll be just 25 years as a free agent, provided he doesn't renew his contract, I'd expect him not in as much as there's a reasonable approach from Barca.

Haven't they solved them Financial challenges already ? But if they haven't, Kounde is a good talent but I still don't see the France international joining Barcelona. Xavi Hernandez can possibly work on Araujo and newly signed Christensen from Chelsea. Although, Sevilla will be opened to sell. I wouldn't want to sell to Barcelona coz they're good opposing sides of Sevilla. Chelsea should be a good option for him. Double doubts if he Gon too very well coz , the likes of Kurt Zouma have been used by Chelsea and didn't make up with Chelsea.

Barcelona are recruiting good players, some are not finalized successfully but if done, they will do excellently perfect in the new Campaign and Season. My potential candidate for the Spanish La Liga should be Barcelona.

Chelsea has been in direct contact with Sevila and Kounde's agents since the previous transfer failure last season, when Kounde skipped training for after his release clause was increased last minute in an attempt to keep him at the club.

Personal terms were agreed upon with Chelsea a few weeks ago, and it's only a matter of time before Chelsea submit an official bid for him. He wants to join Chelsea, and the Barcelona deal is just a rumor because they don't have the financial capability to pay such a high fee for a player right now, as they're still struggling to register Andre Christiansen. yes that's true but Barcelona are now working hard to improve their finances, by selling broadcasting rights and also selling some of their players to be able to sign the new players they want.
I think Barcelona will be able to rise or get out of the financial crisis they are currently facing, especially since their performance last season was very promising after being handled by their new coach Xavi Hernandez.

Barcelona aren't financially stable as we all know and they don't have an option to spend a lot of money now. They are targeting a few players these days and they want to finish these deals or at least some of them for as low price as possible. Yes they (Barcelona) also expect Jules Kounde to be part of them next season to make up for what they lacked last season. However, Sevilla's price is an obstacle for them, on the other hand it is profitable for Chelsea who are also eyeing this player.
